Reviews of local pros in Nevada, Iowa

We've recently started using Hawcott Lawn Service for our home and have been extremely impressed with Ben and his team. They provide reliable, quality work and always answer questions with great detail.

Called and talked to Ben. Great guy! Although I was little far beyond his service area, he was more than willing to share some advice and suggestions about getting my weeds under control and trying to create a healthy lawn! Very knowledgeable and friendly and would hire him to treat my lawn if only it made sense for both parties.

I never got a call back

Paid for no weeds and have been out pulling dandelions and other weeds as well as trees

Friendly staff, highly recommend!

We have patios, fire place, walking paths and landscape plantings done by Ryan. He is very professional, knowledgeable, clean, prompt, pleasant to work with and reasonably priced

I've been using Hawcott for the last 4-5 years on my smallish lawn in Nevada, and though it took about a year for the effect to REALLY show up (you can only rush biology so much) - wow! I keep getting compliments on my yard, and many of my neighbors started using them as well. Keep up the good work!

Ben Hawcott has been doing hardscape and landscaping for us for almost 15 years; he and his team are great at coming up with innovative and affordable solutions to tricky situations. We are thrilled with all of the work and artistry in our yard.

Ben and his team always do a great job! I moved into a new house and the yard was almost all weeds. He was educational set my expectations and at the end if the season my yard looks 100 times better!

Our experience with Hawcott has been fantastic. They show up when they say they will; their staff is polite and responsive when we have questions; and our yard looks amazing! We have tried other lawn services in Ames, but none have been even close to Hawcott. We are very happy with their service and plan on using them again next year.

Ben has been great to work with on my acreage. He communicates well and is always happy to answer any questions. Highly recommend his services.

We have been enjoying the services of Hawcott Lawn Service at our townhome and it's been great.
The people who just mowed and trimmed our lawns this week did an amazing job, especially with the sudden growth spurt after all the rain. Our crew mowed our lawns as if it were their own homes and did it with great care. They have our thanks and appreciation.
