I had received a bid to remove a large ash tree and buckeye tree a few years back and never got around to having them removed. The original company had since gone out of business, and when I started looking for new estimates I received a bid that was three times the original bid. When I met the folks at Iowa timber solutions they were extremely nice and seemed knowledgeable, so I asked if they would come by sometime to give me a bid. They were on top of it and I had a bid in a timely manner( faster than I had expected) The best part was the bid was close to the original bid I had received which then relived any fears about paying too much and, let me know I could trust them to cut down trees so close to my home. They were upfront and honest and kept me informed before and after the service. I will definitely use them again for future needs and would recommend to anyone who asked for a good tree service.

I was recommended to this company from a friend. I have a large Oak Tree in my front yard that had a few dead limbs threatening to fall on my house. They came out quickly and discussed their ideas of trimming an pruning the tree. Provided an estimate for both the work and scheduling. After the job, my tree looks great and the yard and sidewalks cleaned of debris. Highly recommend their services.

I ended up getting 3 quotes for my tree; I didn't go with Iowa timber solutions only because the other company was able to get to me sooner but I would have if they had a sooner opening. Just because I didn't use them they were still very professional and the communication was awesome; no complaints! I plan to use them for my stump work, eventually, if they do only stump work. Thanks for spending time to come look and getting me a quote!

We had a wonderful experience using Iowa Timber Solutions. From the moment of my first interaction with them, all the way to the end of the project, their customer service was superb. They were prompt with responding to my request for the estimate, they provided the estimate in a timely manner and the estimate for the tree removal, and stump grinding was very reasonable. They showed up for the project on time and did a wonderful job cleaning up all of the mess. They even went above and beyond by delivering some wood to my mother’s farm in Menlo. When they came back a few weeks later to grind down the stump, after the ground was no longer wet from rain and snow, they again did a great job and cleaned up all the mess again. In addition, they did a nice job replacing the soil, so our grass will grow back. I especially appreciated that they took consideration of the damp ground and waited to grind the stump until the ground was no longer damp, so their vehicles would not damage my lawn by driving on it. Great service and fantastic people. They handled everything very professionally. No notes. One of the branches was near the power line and they coordinated with the power company to remove the line and have it hooked back up within a few hours.
