We had technician Jesse out for some odd jobs; he was timely, efficient, and kind. He identified items that the original home contractors didn't do correctly, and offered solutions.
Scheduling Manager Jesse was great, as well; very responsive, and quick turnaround. We will definitely continue to use them in the future!

Mid Iowa Electric did a fantastic job on my under cabinet lighting! They were so responsive, got me scheduled for a free estimate the same day and got my work scheduled within the same week. Jesse was so friendly and knowledgeable and easy to work with! The price was also very reasonable. They were both very professional with the installation and my new kitchen lighting looks fabulous! I will definitely be calling them for all my electrical needs - highly recommended!!

I requested Mid-Iowa electric to install 2 ceiling fans, one in a kitchen with a 18ft peaked ceiling! I got an appt for the next day and first up. Maxwell was our man. He was prompt, professional, tidy, friendly and knowledgeable. He even did touch up paint around the new fan flange. I highly recommend this company 👌

I was having a problem with my smoke detectors setting off in the middle of the night. I replaced all the smoke detectors and still had the same problem. We called MIE from a recommendation of my plumber and they came out quick and fixed our problem. They also noticed I was missing a smoke detector and installed it for me quickly.

I called due to a ceiling fan light that wasn't working but asked for an estimate to change out some fixture and move a ceiling fan. Jesse was very responsive and quick to get me on the schedule, within a week. He gave me a great deal on all of the work in one service call!

Max and Mason, who did the work, were absolutely great! They were polite and answered all of my questions. They did a great job getting everything done and cleaned up after themselves.

I had prior work done at my home by Mid Iowa, and was very satisfied, so when I needed service recently for a smart doorbell replacement, I contacted Mid Iowa again. The installation was not as simple as expected due to existing electrical issues that required attention, but Jessie persevered, patiently correcting one issue at a time until the new hardware was installed and the system was configured and fully operational. I am knowledgeable about the system enough to be dangerous, and appreciate the patience and knowledge that Jessie brought to bear until everything was perfect and done in good time. Wanted to surprise my husband by getting a light on the house to properly display the American flag so we didn't have to take it down every night. Jesse came out on the same day that I first asked for this in order for my husband to be able to proudly light the US flag and the Marine flag for the Marine corps birthday and Veterans Day. Company said that a veteran should be able to fly the flag. Proud for Veterans Day. I couldn't agree more!

I needed a breaker replaced in my circuit box. Before the electrician arrived, I told them what size breaker I needed, I had removed the box cover, and marked the breaker. The breaker was replaced in 5-10 minutes, and I offered to pay at that time, the associate said he would just send me a bill. When it arrived, it was over $100.

No wonder he didn't want me to pay him on the spot!
