Iron Works reviews across the US

I am 100% satisfied with the driveway gate and crawl space hinged cover that was created for me by Neza Iron Works. Armando, the owner, is very professional. I called, he came at the time we agreed upon, I explained what we wanted, he asked a couple questions, drew a picture of what I wanted, verified the style on the phone, and measured the job. The price seems very fair. He had his workers build the project the next day, then on the day of installation, I was called, and told what time the workers would arrive. This was appreciated. The three workmen arrived with their tools, drop cloths, paint and the custom made gate and crawl space cover. They were efficient, and polite. The job was completed thoroughly, and looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend Neza Iron Works to anyone. Great job! Great Experience!

I had put off installing handrails on my front stairs for years, thinking it would be complicated, expensive, or otherwise taxing, and for years I watched my parents get older and struggle to climb the six stairs into my house. Finally I decided to do it, googled around found all these incredible reviews for Neza Iron Works. Armando picked up the phone right away, and met me at the house the next morning to discuss the project. I felt good about the meeting and gave him a big deposit, but was still worried that perhaps I'd missed something or that the project would take a long time or somehow get screwed up. EXACTLY ONE DAY LATER THE JOB WAS FINISHED! I was flabbergasted, impressed, and delighted. These handrails have exceeded my expectations and now I'm kicking myself for not calling Neza Iron Works sooner!

Definitely recommend Armando and his Neza team. Quick, handsome, and well-priced fence. His design is a subtle step up from your typical panelized picket iron fence. Team is professional and one-time. They installed a fence with person gate and rolling (manual) car gate. They also provided a good fix after a car ran into one of the posts.

Armando responded promptly to my call and had his brother out to install my porch railing the very same day. They were friendly and efficient. His brother, Saul did an excellent custom job! The cost was reasonable. I am very pleased with the results.

Armando treated us right and his guys did quality work. They showed up when they said they would and the client was very pleased with the finished product.

What a great experience. We needed a basic handrail for our family elder to navigate the front stairs. I've seen Neza's company truck in the neighborhood for a number of years and read positive recommendations from our neighbors on Nextdoor and a block group chat, so I called Armando. He was super-prompt, stopped by to meet and check out the job, and invited me and my wife to come to his shop to select the material.

When I was ready he came by once again to go over everything, and offered to have his team there the next morning. His crew of four showed up bright and early, two trucks, a selection of metals on the rack, and a steel bending contraption. They spent the day custom-bending the railing to match the irregular curve of our retaining wall, carefully coring mounting holes into our flagstone, then welded, blended, and painted the finished installation.

The finished handrail is minimalistic like we wanted, feels rock-solid to grip, and looks like it was custom made for our house (which it was!). Armando and his guys at Neza understand the assignment! :)

On Sunday, March 17th, my husband and I suffered a break-in in the pre-dawn hours in our condo in Duboce Triangle of San Francisco while we slept through the whole thing, ugh!

A thief crowbarred open our front window after standing on a nearby ledge, and promptly stole my almost-new MacBook Air off my nearby desk because I had left the Bluetooth active overnight, which I know now can be easily tracked through an everyday app. A very unfortunate learning experience, but we were very glad that is all they appear to have taken!

We wanted to reinforce our condo ASAP and found Neza Iron Works through Yelp and Google. I reached out to the number listed on Yelp and it belonged to the very kind owner, Mr. Armando Sánchez, who picked up that Sunday on his own line while at home with his family.

He agreed to meet with us the very next day, and measure the front of our condo for a customized white ironwork grid with requested additional attachments, so no ‘prison-like’ bars in this case. He was very professional, friendly and offered us a very reasonable deal for the work to cover our three large front Victorian windows.

We happily gave him a downpayment and hoped to have the work scheduled ASAP.

Unfortunately, our error was not running this by our HOA first, who were not okay with iron bars installed on the 1st floor of our 3-floor home, despite the breaking of our window facing the sidewalk. But it is what it is!

This was admittedly our error in not seeking their approval for “common area” modifications, but Mr. Armando Sánchez graciously allowed us some time to try to work this out with our HOA. Unfortunately, the HOA put the kibosh on the bars, but Mr. Sánchez in the meantime had began the work customized to our windows, and even graciously offered to store this work for us for some time in case the HOA changed their mind.

Our HOA responsibility and negotiations is our own oversight, but we wanted to HEARTILY recommend Mr. Armando Sánchez and Neza Iron Works for their professionalism, work ethic and honesty.

If we could have gotten our HOA on board with our security solution, we would have eagerly added his professional work to the front of our condo. Mr. Armando Sánchez and Neza Iron Works are a credit to honest and talented workmanship, and if we ever have the opportunity to hire them again, we would do so in a heartbeat. Absolutely great craftsmanship and integrity. (Photos attached of ironwork in progress.)

Great local company to support. Armando is very friendly and easy to work with. They took on a really small job for us in a short timeframe. We had contacted a few other companies for bids, and they came in at a reasonable price and we're flexible.

We requested galvanized and painted window bars, and they did everything as requested. They were quick with their work, on time and kept me updated throughout the process.

It's not easy to find reputable and honest companies nowadays. If I ever need similar work, I will definitely reach out to them again as well as refer them to anyone! Give them a call, it is well worth it.

Armando did a fantastic job with fabricating the railing along my driveway. He came out on a Friday to measure and was ready to install it the next Monday. His crew was also great. They were super nice and cleaned up everything after the job. I will use Armando and team for all my future projects.

He's an artist. Armando works with good people to create and install. He built my gorgeous gate from a picture of what I was hoping for. He monitored the job well when his crew came on site. He used new, and up to date, sturdy electrical equipment and referred us to a fair priced electrician as well. He is highly skilled, a fair businessman, a kind person, and respectful. We so enjoyed working with him and will call on him again in the near future for our other projects. His prices are unbeatable, and that was quite important to us. My contractor was blown away by his work. Thank you!

I met with several companies prior to hiring Neza Iron Works. They had the vision that I wanted for my mid-century modern home. The work was impeccable. Within three weeks our project was complete. The crew that installed the railing was polite, competent, and professional. I have already talked with them about a couple of additional projects for the future. They were able to suggest some ideas that I never would have envisioned. Thank you, Neza Iron Works.

I had an odd job to do, fixing a broken steel sculpture. Armando responded quickly to my request and his welders were very helpful when I brought the piece in. They did a great job quickly. Would highly recommend. OK

Armando is a pleasure to work. He was professional, courteous, patient and helpful. I told him what I wanted and his crew did a fantastic job! The crew works well together and they paid attention to detail. Armando told me the gate would be ready in a week and sure enough, they were. If you are looking for a fair priced job and want it done right. Call Armando. My wife and I couldn’t be happier. In fact we are going to have him install another gate for us. No need for 2 other estimates! He was more fairly priced than the other two estimates we got. Give him a call!

Armando came by to look at my project within 1/2 hour of my inquiry. He came that day and by 6:00 pm the next day my fence was installed. Never have had
Such wonderful service so quickly

Well, Armando is wonderful to work with and helped me out not one, not two, but three times when cars crashed through my security gate. Each time a different angle and each time it was fixed so that you would never guess what happened. Fair price and he was very empathetic to my situation, with having to pay out of pocket twice for hit and run drivers. Armando also did each job right away so we didn’t have to wait. I highly recommend Neza.

I was recommended Neza Iron Works by the guys at Ace Hardware on Grand Ave. Armando picked up the phone right away and was able to come by the same day and get our gate fixed. Our gate was pried open in an attempted burglary. It was quite a shock to find the gate completely open the next morning. I was so glad that Armando and Saul was able to fix the gate the same day. It’s a beautiful job. Great craftsmanship and precise. Always appreciate a job well done when it comes to the smallest details

Armando and his team were great to work with! They were prompt, reliable, and fairly priced. They went above and beyond to work with us to capture the design and features we wanted, and had many example projects to pull from when working through this. We highly recommend!

Our gate is unpainted intentionally so it will rust to match other features in our yard, uses 2x2 hog wire mesh and an outdoor rated coded gate lock.

Armando was great to work with. He explained everything clearly and gave excellent advice on gate safety and motor performance, helping me choose the best option for my home. He was on time, reliable, and very knowledgeable. His crew was professional, efficient, and did clean, solid work—no drama, no hidden fees, and no sloppy installation. Their pricing was also better than other companies I compared for the same gate and equipment. Highly recommend this gate company!

You won't go wrong with Neza Iron Works! We have uaed them THREE times. We put in a railing down a dangerous flight of outdoor stairs and we so wish we had done it before! They did a beautiful job and manufacture on site to make sure everything fits perfectly. We had them come back to add more railing because we were so happy. Then, an 80 foot redwood tree fell on the railing and, can you believe it...the railing is still standing and "caught" the tree avoiding damaging our deck!!! WOW! They are scheduled to come out right away to fix the bend in the railing....no need to replace the whole thing since they make it all. BTW, i got several quotes initially and Neza was the fastest to respond and, by far, the most reasonable quote!

Absolutely the best fence builder/fabricator/installer in the east bay. We splurged a bit on a nicer gate. Shopped around and they were less expensive as well. If you're looking for a fence/gate these are your guys. Armando was incredibly kind and worked with us ever step of the way. He went above and beyond with this installation. We had a custom and complex design (24 ft long with hogwire, redwood and cantilever rollers). The gate is so smooth and brings a smile to my face every time it opens. They completely delivered. We will be using them for all future projects. 10/10 recommend.

I am so impressed and pleased with the professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail demonstrated by Armando and his team, Saul and Leo. My neighbor had a small railing installed about a year ago. It turned out well, so I asked for the company information. My house needed a railing at the bottom of the stairs and a gate across the top. I texted Armando and he came the next morning. We talked about the project and design, and he came back by the end of the day with a reasonable estimate. They could start a day later. When the team showed up, they were prepared and got right to work. We refined the design elements and sizes. Communication was excellent. The guys welded the templates and said they would finish fabrication and be back...THE NEXT DAY! Wow!
The next afternoon they arrived with the finished railing and gate, proceeded to install them, and then, to my complete surprise and delight, they painted my existing railings to they would look new, too!
Two neighbors have asked for their info, so I think I'll be seeing them around!
Thank you for a beautiful job. I love how it looks and works!
