Schonberg trimmed a tree in my back yard that was hanging over my house. They did great work for a fair price. They even chopped up the branch so that we can use them in our fire pit. They took great care not to damage my yard and fence. I would definitely recommend them.

The Schonbergs are the best. I had estimates to remove four very large oak trees from three different tree service companies. Not only was their bid the most reasonable (by far), they are the nicest people. Prior to removing the trees, they stopped by to make sure I really understood what I was asking them to do and that I was okay with removing so many large trees. They weren't pushy or trying to tell me I was a tree hater (they left that up to the neighbors), but were more concerned that I'd have a change of heart after the trees were down, and that there's no way to put them back after they were down.

They did a fantastic job removing the trees, and due to me being insane and wanting to keep the wood to split on my own, they stacked all of it in my back yard instead of just leaving everything where the trees were (they did this without me requesting it).

I had the trees taken down two or three summers ago and while they were in the neighborhood the other day they stopped by to check on things, see if I was still happy with the decision, and commented on the progress I've made in splitting things. It was definitely nice to see them stop by to check in and chat for a bit.

Again, they do fantastic work, and more importantly they are fantastic people.

I contacted Schonberg by reference from my neighbor as they were planning on having their trees pruned. In addition to pruning, I also needed to remove a tree due to pending foundation repair. They told me they wouldn't be able to perform the entire job prior to the foundation work, however they were very accommodating by coming in on an earlier date just to cut down the tree necessary for the foundation repair to start. For this, they did not charge extra but kept it to the amount originally quoted. Schonberg are very polite, knowledgeable, and made sure they understood my needs with the project. They also educated me in the various aspects of the job and showed me how I myself could prune a smaller tree on my property. They really went out of their way and I am happy with all aspects of the job. Highly recommended!

This is the best tree service! We have used them twice and both times we were just wowed with thier work, prices and care if our property! So glad they are in our area!

Phil and then John Schonberg have done extensive work for us over the past 10 years or so. Early in our home ownership, we used a couple of other tree services, but no more. The Schonbergs have done everything from promptly cleaning up storm damage to removing dead trees and grinding stumps to pruning and removing dead branches that are over 100 feet in the air. Most recently, we thought we had to lose a mature maple tree, but John came up with a pruning plan and the tree is now thriving. They are reasonably priced, and have an experienced crew. We couldn't be more satisfied with their work.
