Made an appointment on the 29th of October for a cleaning and inspection for November 21st. No one showed up and when I called they said someone had called and canceled right after booking the appointment. Neither I or my wife called to cancel and we did not receive any correspondence or email that our appointment had been cancelled. Very disappointed as we had been waiting on this appointment.

Jacob and Brett ( I think) were very friendly, helpful, and communicative during the chimney service, masonry work and system installation. Jacob advised, instructed, and explained processes as they worked. He worked to improve the channel of water around the chimney. Looking forward to using our new gas fire log system this winter

My technician was very nice arrived on time did a great job cleaning but I felt like I was being upsold the entire time no resolution to my problem only costly suggestions for upgrades and financing options

Shane did a great job of inspecting and cleaning the chimney as well as replacing parts as needed. This is my third time to use them. Always satisfied.

I had a great experience with sure glow in putting my pellet stove and repairing my chimneys. I dealt with Tyler regarding what stove to buy and the pricing for everything. He was very professional and did a great job and I would certainly recommend him and their team to anyone who is looking for a chimney service and or Putting in a pellet stove. I would also like to mention Sydney with whom I talk with many times during the process. She was very kind and courteous as well as professional. She always understood my issues and was eager to help me. again if you need a service like this, I would highly recommend these people.

Shane was timely, efficient and knowledgeable about all the parts of my fireplace and chimney. He was professional, nice, and very neat. He made sure I had no questions or concerns, and that the fireplace worked as it should before he left. Overall great service.

We just had some chimney work done and a gas insert installed in one of our 2 fireplaces on Monday and Tuesday of this week. SureGlow was very responsive and professional to start, but if Jaden Walker shows up as your technician do not let him on your property. He and his partner removed our copper chimney caps installed when our house was built in 1980 and only put one back. They took the other back to the shop where it was “picked up by the scrappers” before we realized (Thursday morning). SureGlow has stated that they will order copper in and make a new cap to replace the original, but it’s difficult to replicate 45 years of patina. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. We are also waiting for the project manager to come back out and address the insert as it was not level, not secured and had a large gap between the insert and the brick face. I will update my review once my concerns are fully addressed.

Of course it hasn’t rained yet so I don’t know if they have fixed the leak but their work looks very good. Great crew. Much better than another KC chimney business

Shane arrived on time and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained every step of what he was doing and what the next steps were in the process. We have 3 fireplaces so appreciated the discounts available if we bundle the repairs together to save some money.

Austin was absolutely amazing. He was very thorough and willing to answer any and all questions we had. One of the best service calls I have ever had.

We were so pleased with the work Carlos performed installing two wood burning stoves and getting our chimneys in tip top SAFE shape. He was professional, shared each step along the way, worked cleanly, and finished with ensuring we knew how to use our new stoves!

Austin Terry was very professional. He was clear and upfront and made sure I understood the findings of his assessment. He provided me pictures of the cressote that would require removal by a chemical. He emphasized the repercussions of not replacing the fractured brick and sealing the exterior with a special hydrophobic sealant to prevent water from entering and freezing. He carefully walked on the roof and provided a thorough cleaning. I said I would not have the couple thousand dollars to address the exposed brick on the chimney (which is my first concern) until 2026. The reality is I would have to wait for my tax returns. Thank you for the job well done.

Everyone I worked with provided excellent customer service. However at the time I was only a month into owning my own home for the first time as a single woman and have since learned to be wary of being taken advantage of and to quickly wizen up. I believe I was grossly overcharged based on what I was approved for. I have since learned about high pressure sales tactics that made me feel I had to get the repairs done asap.
On top of that, the mortar is an ugly gray that doesn’t match and I believe has degraded the look of my home. I was told it would fade to match but no luck 3-4 months in.
Greater transparency and break down of expenses would have been nice. I had to specifically ask for the invoice/receipt and unfortunately didn’t think to request it until after I got saddled paying nearly $1000/month for a year on top of my new mortgage.
Two stars because the guys who worked on it were nice and I’m hopeful that while not aesthetic, the job will preserve the chimney.

Inspection and cleaning services were great and provide a high quality product. Technician was very friendly but the company offers a very predatory sales tactic. Initially offer a very high cost estimate to complete the repairs. They then call and say “they are running specials” and can get things like scaffold for free. My quote price magically was cut in half.

This implies this company is gouging people on profit margins or hiring unqualified labor.

I would use the cleaning service again but I would recommend obtaining multiple quotes from multiple suppliers for any repair work

We were very happy with the work. They were on time, very efficient, pleasant and did a good job cleaning up. I am going to use this company to do work on the outside chimney.

Aiden was great! He listened to my concerns (wasps getting in the chimney...and he was prepared to take on that challenge) and talked me through everything from the inspection/cleaning. He was very knowledgeable and kind.

Had annual maintenance/inspection of unvented gas fireplace set and chimney cleaning/inspection done. Technician Ethan was knowledgeable, efficient, thorough and very pleasant and respectful. He did find an issue with the exterior of the chimney, showed me a picture and explained needed repair. The office called shortly after he left to setup that appointment. All around good experience with SureGlow Stove and Chimney company.
In addition- review to include chimney work done by Robin and associate a week later was equally as professionally accomplished; both men also respectful, efficient and made sure the area was cleaned up before leaving.
Again, a great experience.
