John is reliable and provides quick service. Pricing is fair and I have found him to honest. On his most recent visit my system had two parts that were not working and unfortunately it was not immediately apparent until after he had left. However, he quickly came back to resolve the second issue. I am always amazed how he typically carries the needed part in his truck so that there is not an additional delay to order the part. I will definitely call him again in the future.

I've used Home Comfort twice: to install a new water heater last fall, and a new central air conditioning unit just recently. John's prices are reasonable, he's very knowledgeable and open to answering any and all questions. He has reputable documentation to support his recommendations if he's installing a new unit. Oftentimes, he can resolve your issue on the day you call him. I would definitely recommend Home Comfort for your heating and AC needs.

We were in a pinch when our 30 year old AC unit went out us on the first weekend of summer. We called one of the bigger companies in town and while they were prompt and did provide good service, we felt the price was a bit high so we wanted a second opinion. John and Home Comfort was recommended to us. We called him and he immediately adjusted his schedule to stop by and see us that evening. He gave us an estimate that was much lower than our original and also worked with us to make sure that we could comfortably finance it. He installed it promptly and quickly the next day.

We feel fortunate to have found John at Home Comfort Heating and Cooling. We have been using his services for 13 years. He is always quick to respond to our calls, works with our schedule to come out as soon as possible, provides honest quotes at reasonable prices, and then does quality work. John maintained our old HVAC unit until it need to be replaced, then replaced the HVAC with quality units which have provided excellent performance. John's customer service skills are exemplary, especially when we have had to call him on a holiday weekend due to the air conditioner going out on our old unit.

My AC went out on Friday, I called my home warranty company and they had no technicians available until Monday when I would get a call for a time to set up to fix my air. The temperature this weekend is 94° it was the same temperature in my house on Saturday. I called John and he said he could be here in 30 minutes and he was. He was professional, polite and got my air conditioning up and running within 15 minutes. I recommend him to anybody! Thank you so much John!

We called John Field at Home Comfort on Easter weekend. John responded promptly to our request for service and arrived as promised on Monday morning. John diagnosed our AC problem, outlined a solution and then offered us additional options. Work proceeded in a careful, workman-like fashion and he checked to see that everything was working properly before he left. The work areas in the basement, yard and driveway were cleaned up and all debris and the old equipment was removed. We were very pleased with John's work and the professional, courteous manner of the installation. I can give John and his Home Comfort business our highest recommendation.

Our neighborhood is full of 20 year old homes, and during the first hot week of the summer, like many others in our area, the AC went out. We called several contractors and were offered 3-5 day wait times for estimates alone. I called John at Home Comfort Heating and Cooling and he made time to come see us afterhours only shortly after talking.

John was very professional, and offered service options to meet various price or timeline targets. He even offered to jury-rig our 21 year old system to get air moving again immediately. In the end, we decided on a new outdoor unit and evaporator coil, and John was able to install them for us the very next day.

All told, it's been just over 24 hours since initially calling Home Comfort Heating and Cooling, I have a brand new system (and at a fair price), and my house is already cool. Can't beat that. Thanks John!

Our 24 yr old AC finally died on one of the hottest days of the year. I was able to reach John late afternoon. He was at our house at 7:30 am the next day to show us our options. He did a great job of explaining the differences and he never pressured us to go one way or the other or tried to upsell us.

John was able to install our new unit the next day. He was incredibly professional and we were very very happy with our new AC and furnace. I would highly recommend Home Comfort!!

HCHC is by far the best HVAC company we've used. For years, we had used the likes of AB May, Bob Hamilton, etc. and every Spring it seemed were told that our AC system needed this or that. The breaking point was three years ago when a BH tech told us we really needed to replace our entire HVAC system ... and for $30k. Wanting a second opinion, I was referred to another company whose principal has since retired and turned over its client base to HCHC. We didn't need a new system at all, and the work that was needed cost about $700. Since then, we've used HCHC and they've been great. There's no upselling or scare tactics, and the maintenance service is timely, efficient, and affordable. For those of you using HVAC companies that have sold out to private equity or others, stick with--or start using--companies like HCHC.

John has done many HVAC jobs for us over the last several years- major and small jobs. He is always pleasant, honest and available when we have needed him. He’s very knowledgeable and hardworking. Also his pricing is reasonable. You’d be hard pressed too find a better HVAC resource- we highly recommend John and Home Comfort

John Fields w/Home Comfort Heating and Cooling was prompt, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable with managing the replacement of our failed hot water heater. The repair was quick and clean. John followed up with explaining how to properly operate our new system’s pilot light function controls, water temp. controls, etc. I’m very satisfied w/Home Comfort’s responsive service and recommend contacting John for any and all HVAC emergency repairs, maintenance and seasonal system check-ups.

John really helped us out in a pinch! Our AC went out and our normal HVAC company couldn’t come for three days. Home Comfort was recommended by a friend and they squeezed us in at the end of the work day. So happy I received the recommendation, would definitely call John again! I was very impressed with John and his service. I called on a Sunday afternoon, and John came within the hour and had my heater fixed and working in no time. Especially happy that everything did not cost extra due to it being a weekend. John is an experienced, knowledgeable and competent HVAC technician. He was courteous and professional. Called John on a holiday and he was able to be at our house in under 30 minutes for an emergency air conditioning repair. He was able to quickly diagnose our issue, confirmed that we were comfortable with the very reasonable price, and resolved our issue. We were extremely pleased with John and his quality work and will definitely be using him again!

Just wanted to rave about the excellent service Home Comfort Heating and Cooling provided. We were having some issues with our ac and my sister in law recommended them, so we decided to give them a call. So glad that we did! The young gentleman (name: Adam) that came to our house was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us what the issue was. He gave us different options but we decided to go for a quick fix for now. We will definitely be calling them back for a new HVAC system.

Our A/C was acting up so I called Home Comfort and John came out the same day and got it up and running. I like to support local businesses when I can, and his prices were very reasonable. Some businesses seem to take advantage when they know you're in a rough spot (A/C not working in some) however John seems like a good honest person. I plan to use them again when I need anything HVAC related.

John Fields is FANTASTIC. He has installed a new AC unit for us and also an in-home humidifier. When there were record high temperatures over the summer, our old AC unit finally gave out. We had terrible luck with our home warranty company and the repair companies they tried to pair us with. We decided to look elsewhere and came across Home Comfort Heating and Cooling. John was extremely responsive, quick to come out to inspect the issues, quick to bring in and install the new AC unit, and his prices were very fair. The same goes for when he installed our humidifier today. He was honest, knowledgeable, calm, and caring. We plan on calling him up again whenever our old heater goes out. I wish other contractors were as great as him.

John with Home Comfort is amazing! I met John for the first time last summer when my AC went out during a heat wave of high 90 degree days. I called over a dozen HVAC companies over a few days trying to get someone out as soon as possible, but the best I got was a week or two out. I then called Home Comfort and John, even though it was late and he was done for the day, came out to my house that night and fixed my AC. He does good quality work at a great price and is very reliable. I actually just had him here this week fixing my furnace, and again it was a quick response, quality work, and great price! As long as I live here John and Home Comfort will be the only HVAC company I call.

I had the best experience with Home Comfort Heating and Cooling, and John was incredible! Our a/c went out when it was 103F so I was up at 430am googling different places. I was so impressed with the reviews here that I called the next morning and John was over that same day. He was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and reasonably priced. He talked to us about different options and I felt well informed before making the decision. He was able to replace our a/c unit that same day! Will definitely be calling again for any of our heating and cooling needs.

Amazing service by John and Shelle at Home Comfort Heating and Cooling. Our A/C went out with a boat load of out of town guests descending on us in the next 24 hours. John was over and fixed our A/C so quickly I couldn’t believe it. Small locally family owned business took the best care of us. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you!
