Hermes was extremely responsive and available from the moment I looked into using them for our drainage project. From the back-end staff setting things up, to the men who completed the work, everyone was overly communicative, professional and happy to help answer any questions. I look forward to using them again!

Couldn’t recommend Hermes Landscaping enough! I’ve had them contracted through the spring, summer, fall and winter and each season they have exceeded my expectations. Christian, specifically, has been so incredibly attentive and helpful. It’s so nice knowing that he’s just a phone call away, is always happy to answer any questions and is at my property diligently. From the first phone call for information and scheduling to the initial design discussions, installation and follow-up service, we were very pleased with the Hermes approach. All our questions were answered timely, the installation was professional, and the installers protected our spring grass and existing plants. We are very pleased with our landscaping and the efficiency and focus on customer service. Each Hermes representative has been friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We would use them again for additional landscaping services.

I recently purchased a new home in need of landscaping. I wanted a company that not only would provide the design but do the build. I selected Hermes Landscaping because they are a full service company with deep roots in the KC metro area. They did not disappoint!
I have had the opportunity to work with other landscaping companies over the years but have never experienced the level of customer service that I did with Hermes. The detailed walk through at the end of the project was most helpful and something I had never experienced with any of the previous providers I used.

An Hermes Landscaping truck just cut raced to cut in front of me in the Chick fil A drive through merge! NOT a good look when your in a company car. I know what company I won’t be hiring for my landscaping!

Hermes took advantage of a "time and materials" clause in their snow removal contract to bill the homeowners at Creekside Village Townhomes over $70K for one snowstorm in 2025. BEWARE of this company and First Residential Property Management. Hermes, First Residential, and/or the builder should do the right thing and offset the cost of this price gouging -- pure mismanagement and incompetence. First Residential has been FIRED by the homeowners.

Let me preface my complement with these two facts….I am 80 years old and appreciate kindness! One week ago I was backing out of my driveway and a Hermes Landscaping truck was entering our subdivision! A gentleman exited the truck and waved me to stop, which I did. I rolled down my window and he introduced himself to me (I believe his name was Mario) (very friendly) and he asked if I wanted a very small dead evergreen next to my garage cut down! I was surprised by his request and asked “how much can I pay you”…..his response was “nothing”! I asked again and his answer was the same! I reached out my hand and he graciously offered his and I was touched by his kindness! I have shared my story with at least 10 people and should I ever need any work done at my home I will definitely call Hermes! In this day and time, KINDNESS is at a premium and I was blessed to meet Mario!!

Working with Hermes on our landscaping project was great, start to finish.

We spoke to several landscapers about the backyard project for our new home but chose Hermes and we’re very glad we did. Alfonso came to our home and we were immediately impressed by his professionalism. He asked lots of questions and he listened. He came back the following week with a landscaping plan that incorporated everything that we asked for and at a reasonable price. Work started about a week later and the guys that did the hard work were impressive, too. They were conscientious and courteous. They cleaned up their work area and stored their equipment each evening before they left. Even our neighbors were impressed. Everything looks great and is exactly like the plan.

This was just phase 1—we’ll be calling Alfonso in the spring for phase 2!
