I just used Ark Valley for the 3rd time and they are very good and reliable. They worked us into their schedule and got my work done after some remodeling work.

They came once did a great job called last winer when we had frozen pipes they kept saying your on the list tomorrow tomorrow never got here. Now I am having another issue and getting the same run around I feel like my issue is just as important as someone elses and keep getting put off is very upsetting and frustrating

The first time we used this company, we received great customer service. They were knowledgeable, polite, and more than reasonable in what they charged. However, the second time was the absolute opposite, unfortunately. Misinformation, terrible customer service, and not at all polite...very condescending, in fact.

Tony took out time to answer all my questions. He was very polite and explained everything in detail. Thank you Ark Valley Plumbing!

Great people who do great work!

These guys are awesome!! I have thrown a couple tricky projects at them over the years and they always knock it out of the park.

If I could give negative stars I would. If you want to be severely overcharged, given misinformation and taken advantage of then by all means give them a call. Had a plumbing issue, they came out. In about five minutes I was told the problem and told the part was around $300 and would take about 1 to 1 1/4 hours to repair. labor rate was over $100 an hour.
They checked and found that they had to order the part it was over $500 dollars and would be many days in coming in. I asked numerous times if there was any alternative or cheaper remedy and was told no.
I told them to order the part reluctantly and at this point trusted them
Later when available I got online with my part number and found the part for $276 and would be delivered in 2 days. I ordered it and called and cancelled the order with Ark Valley. I told them what I found and how I felt ripped off. I was told the parts guys had a 20% mark up and they had there mark up also. Wow that's getting close to 100% mark up.
The part arrived on time and I (no plumber at all) installed in 16 minutes start to finish - not the 1 - 11/4 hours quoted.
Now I just received a bill in the mail for $100 - the service call.

My sewer needed to be cleaned out. Called on Saturday knowing they were closed.Left a message and Tony came Monday morning, cleaned the sewer. On my property there is not a clean out for the sewer. He has to pull the stool and clean from there. He and his helper had every thing done and cleaned up in a timely manner.His price was very reasonable. This is the Plumbing service I have used for many years and have always been satisfied with the service and price.

When I see a couple of the negative reviews, I wonder who they are talking about! Tony and Ark Valley have been incredibly knowledgeable,
professional, kind and caring when my husband died, and excellent at what they do. They do their best to fit you into their schedule.

I strongly suggest staying away from this company. There are FAR better plumbers in the area who will not rip you off, who will not belittle and talk down to you, and who will do the work RIGHT. Unless you want to pay for someone to correct the work of this plumber later on, I would find someone, anyone else.

Aside from the quality of the work and attitude given, the "new" office manager is a joke and is just as rude as the plumber. Word of advice, if you truly want to show empathy and have good customer service, you shouldn't start your "apologies" my saying "We apologize if YOU feel." That's not an apology, that's being narcissist.

Arc valley plumbing surpassed all of my expectations! Their professionalism and knowledge of their industry was amazing! They took care of all of my problems in one visit and their rates were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services. I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate Ark Valley plumbing for their service. After 2 other quotes to dig out our whole line, Ark Valley used the process of elimination to find that it was an issue with our water softener! Kind, thorough and amazing. Affordable as well!

Ark Valley’s website claims to provide “home-town service with old-fashioned values.” Our experience was the opposite. Over the years, we called them repeatedly for the same repair to our well system. They replaced the same part (cycle stop valve) multiple times — yet the issue was never fixed. One of those repeat repairs occurred less than a year before the final failure.

Their incorrect installation led to water intrusion and damage in our basement. We eventually hired another plumbing company, who replaced Ark Valley’s part using the correct materials and proper installation direction. After that, the system finally worked and stopped leaking — something Ark Valley never accomplished despite several attempts and multiple invoices.

Another issue we encountered was marked-up materials and questionable billing descriptions. Parts listed on our invoice did not always match what was installed, and some items were priced notably high compared to market cost. Customers should pay close attention to what they’re charged for and what is actually installed.

When we later contacted the county to verify well certifications, we were informed that Ark Valley is not listed as certified for well work. This was surprising, especially because they openly criticized other plumbers during their visits, despite not being certified for the type of work they were performing.

We also took the issue to small claims court. If you ever consider legal action, be aware: Ark Valley performs work for the courthouse locally, and in our experience, the process felt influenced by small-town relationships. Homeowners deserve to know this before deciding how to handle a dispute.

I have been using Ark Valley Plumbing on my house as well as an investment property for years. By trade, I am a building consultant who negotiates as a third party between insurance carriers and contractors, and I have been performing this work for over 20 years. Part of my job is to review contractor invoicing for continuity in work performed and alignment with current market rates. Tony is so consistently within 3-5% of the current standard market labor rate that I don't even bother cross-referencing anymore. His equipment and fuel surcharges are always in line with typical allowances, and his material markup is always in line with industry standard markup practices (yes...contractors must include equipment surcharges to purchase/maintain large equipment, and mark up materials above their costs to cover their time ordering, supplying, keeping inventory, etc.). Where the real savings occur is in his experience to diagnose an issue efficiently and fix the issue in a timely manner. He is never standing around or moving slowly. In fact, he may be one of the quickest, most efficient contractors with whom I have ever worked. So whatever small deviation his labor rate may be from the current market rate, is made up in multiples by his experience and efficiency to perform quality work. And that's a trade I'll take every day of the week.
