When we moved into this house, I told my family that as soon as I cut, scorched, or stained one of our Formica countertops, I would replace them.

In the meantime, our cast iron bar stools swiveled into the edge of the bar, causing chips in the main Formica countertop. It finally felt like the right time to make the change.

Edan at Midwest Marble and Granite helped me select attractive elements like the sink, faucet, quartz material, and backsplash ceramic tile. Because of her experience as an interior decorator, I really valued her insights.

On installation day, I was truly impressed by Jake, Carlos, and the team. They worked tirelessly to remove the old countertops and backsplash and to ensure the heavy new countertops were perfectly aligned and level. I had no idea how physically demanding this work could be.

The next day, during backsplash installation, the same praise goes to Patrick, Frank, Eddie, and Austin. They spent hours bending over the counters, meticulously cutting, placing, and grouting ceramic tiles on four walls. That has to be backbreaking, especially for someone as tall as Frank!

When you picture a leaky dishwasher, you probably imagine a messy puddle all over the floor. Well, ours was more sneaky--it silently caused damage to our flooring and cabinets! By the time we caught on, we realized a full remodel of the kitchen was in order.

Honestly, I was a bit anxious about the cost of replacing our old counters, but I was also relieved to say goodbye to those chipped formica ones! Our son had a great idea and suggested quartz countertops. From the moment we walked into the showroom and were greeted by Jordan, we felt welcomed and impressed by the exceptional customer service. Edan was fantastic in helping us choose our materials. I absolutely fell for a gorgeous quartz sample, but it was way out of my budget. However, Edan went above and beyond to find a similar quartz that wouldn't break the bank. She even met me at the warehouse so I could check out the slabs and see how they matched my paint chips! The new choice ended up being less than half the cost of my original pick, and I couldn't be happier with both the color and the price. Adnan did a stellar job with the laser measurements, and Karissa was excellent at managing the project. The installation team worked around my schedule and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout.

We needed our 40 year old countertops replaced, and it was a difficult job. Midwest Marble and Granite went above and beyond to do a a beautiful installation. Their workmen were courteous and pleasant. Nick, the manager explained carefully and clearly. We're very pleased.

I had new quartzite installed in my kitchen. There were a few hiccups but Midwest bent over backwards to my satisfaction. This company stands behind their work and product. Their communication is amazing and very professional. My countertops are gorgeous! I would highly recommend Midwest Marble.

Josh was great. He cut a space for my vertical downdraft with minimal mess. He took great care of my kitchen and was very careful about his work. Nick and Lydia were great to work with, too, and they answered all of my questions promptly over the phone. Would definitely hire again.

First, this review is long overdue. Midwest Marble and Granite was an exceptional service provider as we cautiously considered replacing our kitchen countertops in 2016. Cautious because we were concerned about such a longterm investment and that we had no experience with granite. What we were met with were a courteous, informative and patient staff (including the owner himself). The experience was delightful from initial consultation through installation. The professional craftsmanship stretched beyond our expectations.

Fast forward to December 2020 in the midst of a pandemic that pressed many local businesses to the brink. That's when we show up again, with a very small project that I assumed would be a "when we get around to it" thing. We were met with the same level of attention as our earlier project despite staffing dilemma's and work process adjustments resulting from COVID 19. The owner and others remembered our 2016 installation in surprising detail. Once again, each staff interaction, from the initial reception through the install (even a follow up call from the owner) gave us a clear impression that our satisfaction really mattered. Needless to say, this is where we go and you should consider it too.

Guys if your looking for a company to provide you with quality service and great customer service, this is the company to hire. Nick the owner is great to talk to and work with. I love the work they did and I always receive rave reviews on my granite top that this company installed. If you want a company you can trust and is very reliable , this is the company for you. I rarely do reviews, however, I couldn't go without letting them know how very satisfied I was and still am with the job they did.
