I live in Prairie Village. Dillon evaluated my gas fireplace that was match start for installation of remote start. He explained what could be done and gave me a discount on an open box insert. He came out soon after to install. During the install he cleaned the logs, screen and doors and demonstrated the remote. I was very pleased with the company and how Dillon performed the service.

I feel like this fireplace service lives up to their good reviews. I had a minor potential issue with my fireplace, and this is the kind of thing I really don't want to take chances on.

When I reached out, they were pretty responsive and moved things to text; the key to my Millenial heart. They were pretty booked up, but I can wait if it's going to be worth it, so they scheduled someone for the next week.

Their tech was friendly and to the point. He gave me options on what we could do, pinpointed the problem, and didn't push or overwhelm at all.

I feel like I'm writing this one as a service to them to spread the word, but selfishly so I can remember to come back to them specifically if and when any fireplace issues arrive. They seem to do things the right way and know their stuff.

Joe showed up right on time after calling tell me he was on the way. Spread out his drop cloth and went right to work. Found the problem quickly, fixed it, cleaned the fireplace inside and out and left the area spotless. Reasonable charge for a service call. No parts involved. Their service is highly specialized, and they know what they are doing and how to treat customers. Highly recommended.

What an awesome company. My 4 year old has fireplace only worked the first couple of years. Joe came out and had it running in 5 minutes. He knew exactly what the problem was. He also was able to get better flames out of it. I will be using this company for any fireplace maintenance that comes up. Their honesty was over the top. You can trust this company. I would say 10 stars out of 5.

We needed our gas fireplace looked at as it wasn't igniting when we flipped the switch. We called a local company last fall and it was going to cost over $350.00 for them to just show up. KC Gas Fireplace came out today and fixed the problem and didn't even charge us. WOW! Dillon was wonderful to work with and a really nice guy and it was fixed in a matter of minutes. We have their card now so it will be easy to contact them if needed in the future.

I used the company to get my gas fireplace back into service.

Joe showed up on-time, and completed the repair promptly. He cleaned up his work area, and even cleaned the glass on both sides of the fireplace!

I would definitely use this company again!

After making calls to several fireplace shops in the Kansas City area I was referred to KC Gas Fireplace for diagnosis and repair of my 4 year old gas linear box.

I spoke with the office manager Knox who was pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Dillon was dispatched a few days later and we found him equally pleasant, friendly and helpful. More importantly he was very knowledgeable, thoughtful, and logical in his diagnosis.

A part had to be ordered but Knox kept me in the loop and we set up a follow-up appointment.

Dillon nailed the problems, cleaned the fireplace and managed to increase our flame height which we had wanted from day one.

Given the communication and spot-on service I can HIGHLY recommend KC Gas Fireplace Service as your trusted source for anything related.

We purchased a big green egg many years ago at another store and were having trouble maintaining the temperature. Jonathan was extremely helpful and worked with us to get the problem solved. He said the egg should last for many years and that a new gasket and silicone around the bottom opening should do the trick. We also had a table that was is good shape but the casters had shifted and one was broken. He went out of his way to come up with a great solution and a fix that not only made it sturdier but was very economical. It is so great to deal with a business that has great customer service and takes the time to solve problems!! We have purchased 2 other grills in the past from this company over the years as well as accessories and always had great advice and serviceI I would highly recommend this company!!

Gas fireplace stopped working and I called KC Gas Fireplace and they were amazing. David fixed the problem, cleaned all parts and even cleaned the glass front. Very polite, efficient and trustworthy. I would highly recommend using this company and I am a very picky person when it comes to service companies. Great Job

Absolutely 5-star service! Dillon and Joe worked diligently to find why our gas fireplace would have only a low flame. It turned out to be a very tiny insect that had crawled into the gasoline part! They were polite, friendly, always on time and meticulous to keep our room clean during their work. It was a pleasure to have their company service our needs and we are happy to give them this glowing recommendation.

I have a gas fireplace with the remote start and had it installed about 3 1/2 years ago. I wanted to make sure the installer had done a correct job and I wasn't sure what I needed to do to make sure the fireplace was maintained correctly, so I called this company. I found a coupon and they honored it with no problem and they showed up on time and I think did it extremely professional job. I definitely would recommend them.

Great job. Meticulous job getting our fireplace insert working again. The gas outlet was clogged because of a spider web or spider Not only cleaned it but also gave it a facelift.

On 11-21-2022 I contacted Fireplace & Bar-B-Q Center because I initially thought I needed a new gas insert. I sent in the measurements etc and received a quote. Then I actually talked to someone at the Center and explained what I was concerned about. He told me I actually needed to add sand and some embers which would remedy the hissing noise (I had cleaned all that out thinking the lava rock was sufficient...ha!). I went to the store and the person I spoke to (didn't catch a name) clearly explained the steps to take and also gave me a written document which he highlighted. I purchased the sand and embers and easy peasy I have a functioning fireplace that looks new again. Grateful I asked questions and impressed there was NO hard sell to purchase a new insert.

We visited on a fairly quiet weekday. The individual who helped us was curt and provided minimal information. He quoted a price on a fireplace that was double the price of a quote we got from a competitor's store.

Great customer service. Dillon took time to explain what the issue was and focused on what was needed when our gas burning fireplace started behaving erratically. He took care to keep the area clean and went above and beyond. Our fireplace has never burned cleaner. Highly recommended!

I was honestly intimidated at the thought of walking into this place. I didn't know how to describe what I was looking for, and I assumed it would be crazy expensive. I was dead wrong.

As soon as I walked in the front door I was greeted by a friendly employee. I clumsily explained what I wanted to do to our fireplace and he knew exactly what I needed. He escorted me to a section of the store where i was shown my gas log options. There were a variety of price points and all of them were reasonably priced with installation for $150. I chose my new logs, paid, and had toasty warm gas logs fired up within a few days. I should have done this YEARS AGO. I highly recommend Fireplace and BBQ Center for all your fireplace needs!

These guys are amazing. Eager to teach and answer questions , so not just a place to buy a fireplace. Installed my vented gas logs myself but had a few questions along the way ... just called and got them all answered.

Let's get to the best part first. The installers name is Matt and he was amazing! He had to deal with a few issues from my gas line and made it perfect! Hard work! He was so friendly, clearly liked seeing the finished product, he answered all my questions, and left the area cleaner than he found it! The store itself is laid out well with great choices...I only saw the fireplace side of the store. Plus their prices are extremely competitive! I would definitely shop here again and Matt tied up the experience into one nice bow :-)

Honest, extremely knowledgeable, and a very customer centered business. I HIGHLY recommend them for all of your fireplace and BBQ needs. In especially, I would seek out the expertise of Jon Kelly. He is very dedicated to his customers, even answering his emails at midnight!
