I’ve used Chris lights for years. I’m in Tonganoxie !. He’s has sent one of his crews out here and changed two burn out bulbs on my lights before ! They do a great job i’d recommend this company!!

We have used Chris Lights for several years and they are amazing! When they say when they are going to install they are there, if there is ever a bulb that goes out they come out immediately to replace. We rely on them every Christmas!

We’ve used Chris Light Co for Christmas lights at our house the last 2 years. They do a great job with installing and taking them down, and we highly recommend them!

I chose Chris Light Co. to install permanent lighting around my house, and they did an excellent job. The team was very friendly and professional, and they were also very quick with a big install. The app the system runs off of is easy to use and change the light settings. They are very easy to work with and leave you with a quality product that has yielded a lot of compliments from neighbors!

They charged $775, and when my lights fell down twice, the second time they tried to charge me $125 to put them back up. They were supposed to take down my lights after the holidays, that’s part of the pricing. They said they would be late because of the weather. Ok, no problem, but now it’s March. They know I won’t hire them again, because of the milking me for money situation, and they aren’t storing the lights this year, so they didn’t bother to take them down or contact me to say they weren’t coming. Shop around, and get better pricing and better service. They must be doing fine because they don’t seem to mind losing their customers.

Chris Light did our 1908 house a number of years ago in Midtown KC and we were blown away. We moved to North KC and they did our new house and it is beyond what we expected. Add value to your home and smiles on a daily basis when you look at your stunning house dressed up for date night EVERY night!

If only there was a Review that would allow me to give a 1 star rating but unfortunately there is not.

This is by far the shadiest Electrician (& company) that I’ve EVER dealt with. A friend of ours referred this company & one of their Electricians (Kai) to do some electrical work on my Food Truck.

One Friday we were serving a Lunch Event & when I turned on the generators, the electrical panel starting smoking so I turned them off immediately & canceled our lunch for the day. I then called Kai, gave him all of the pertinent information RE: what occurred & he said “don’t worry, sounds like an easy fix to me”….

He arrived at my house Saturday morning @ 8AM. He began working on the panel (J Box) & within an hour or so, he summoned me outside to witness him testing it. As soon as he started the generators, the electrical panel caught on fire, one of my Refrigerators caught on fire as well & he fried my Hood Unit……all within 30 seconds.

His reply was….”oh, I guess I didn’t fix it after all” & told me he had to run to Home Depot to get a new electrical panel & switches which shockingly, he billed me $220 for. I just couldn’t believe it. Why would I have to pay for a new panel when he fried it!????!!!????? Not to mention I now need a new refrigerator & fan for my hood unit.

I’ve been in business for over 30 years & I’ve never been involved with such a “dirty” company. So he came back with a new panel/switches, etc. & rewired my converter box to ONLY have the interior light go on when my right generator was on & everything else would be powered by the generator on the left. The power needed to be spread evenly on the panel so both generators could “carry” the burden of powering my Truck.

I told several fellow Food Truck Owners what he had done & they were all baffled & just kept asking me why would he do that??? I had no answer. So I rushed over to pick up another fan from an Installer that I’ve used before & he tested the fan right in front of me, so I knew it worked. I handed over the fan motor to Kai only to be told an hour later that it doesn’t work. I’m like, impossible. My Installer tested it right in front of me???

So after robbing us of $700 (based on all of the damage he caused, I shouldn’t have owed him anything) he left & asked that he’d like to install the fan motor once I got another one. I then went back to my Installer & he hooked it up & had it working within 5 minutes. Do you want to know why Kai couldn’t fix it?!?? It’s because he NEVER connected the wiring that rests in an electrical outlet (GFI box) that is placed on the ceiling right next to the hood unit.

Please RUN, don’t walk……..RUUUUUUN from this company & definitely Kai as he doesn’t know ANYTHING about being an Electrician!!!!!

Does quality work would recommend to anyone!!

Andrew installed a Tesla charger for me. He was great! His communication was great. He showed up on time, gave me a competitive bid, and completed the work in a timely manner.

Not a good company to do business with. Collect deposits without getting utilities approval. If utility is unable to approve project your deposit is GONE. Which is never explained prior to signing. BEWARE

This company is great. The owner goes above and beyond and is a problem solver like no other. I had a commercial rework with a huge array of solar panels on the roof. It was almost industrial with it being 240 volts. they knocked it out and had to even do a little extra work to get my extremely difficult situation worked out. That other bad review I see from a year ago, sounds like what his old partner company Greenergy used to do. But I know for a fact that guy and his company are gone and theres no problems like that at all. They go above and beyond for their clients. They installed the biggest solar panel array on top of my building in the west bottoms. Even bigger than the array on top of the live stock building across the street from me. Very very very happy I chose them for my electrical work and solar install.
