After the founder's house was burglarized in 1976, He looked for an affordable local company to secure his home from burglars. No such company existed so he founded SHIELD® Security Systems.
Police Officer Ken Jezioro was an accident investigator and certified crime prevention officer with over twenty-seven years of law enforcement and investigation under his belt. It's this experience and our commitment to customer service that makes SHIELD®Security Systems Different.
SHIELD Security Systems of Kansas City is committed to educating their clients so that they may make good choices in the design of their security systems. We differentiate ourselves by having expert consultants, no contracts, and no pressure.

These guys are amazing! They respond same day. They know more about security than probably anyone alive. They work for the Chiefs! What more do you need to know?

For two years we had a false sense of security. We paid our monthly bill and thought we were monitored, but we weren't. Our previous security company refused to refund or rectify the problem.
Shield Security Systems was recommended. They quickly diagnosed and fixed our problem. In addition, we now can monitor and control our alarm system through their iPhone app. I highly recommend Shield Security Systems.
