Barr Thorp is an electrical and industrial distribution company. Their employees are way above average. Their products cover a wide range of items from electric motors, industrial controls, variable frequency drives, gear boxes, etc. They also have high level engineers and application specialists to help the customer or user select the correct stuff. They are a local / regionally based distributor so I recommend using them instead of larger more national distributors. They also have very strong buying power so their prices are as good as or better than any national electrical or industrial distributor. Highly recommended company. Very.

Need to direct your employees to follow the traffic laws. One of your vans today on the intersection of 3rd and Ward in Lee's Summit ran the red light causing oncoming traffic to stop in the intersection almost causing an accident. Your vehicles are a billboard for good and bad.

I had Johnny's out for a small repair. The labor price was very fair and the worker was respectful and arrived on time. All in all, I woud recommend them.

However, the reason for the minus two stars: they charged $150 for a chord end that costs less than $13.47 at home depot, three butt connectors, and some heat wrap. Simple math puts that at a 10x markup. Disappointing.
