Needed an old ash tree removed that had died and made the front yard look terrible. Emailed Justin and got a very prompt reply and estimate within an hour. Came out the next day and removed the tree and stump and left our yard like no one had even been there. Very professional work and even moved some heavy rocks out of the way to do the job. If you need some tree work done give Justin a call or email, you'll be glad you did!

I have used Claar tree several times. Really appreciate that the owner is on site and doing the work alongside his crew. Justin replied to my requests timely and always has gone above and beyond. His knowledge of trees and potential risks has been extremely helpful. Most recently I sent a picture of a cracked limb, he called me one morning weeks before our scheduled job, and asked if they could come today since the tree was compromised and had storms were expected - wow! Really appreciated him prioritizing safety based on the weather! Highly recommend!

Asked them for a bid to cut a certain limb down and trim up the tree. They kinda just trimmed the tree a LITTLE and left. If you want somebody to listen to you call someone else.

Olathe Tree Service removed an old, dying tree from our backyard and did an excellent job. The team was very professional and hard working. We also had them trim other trees and bushes in our yard, and we could not be happier with the results. We strongly recommend this company to anyone in need - they are timely, professional, and do great work. Not to mention, other than the missing tree, you would never know they were here! They left our yard spotless! We will undoubtedly be using their services again!

Chet and his crew came and got the job done today! I had another company show up and then ditch when they saw how hard it would be. I had another company ditch because of weather (I guess) with no explanation. Finally I was fortunate to hire Olathe Tree and they came when promised and cut down a dead elm near phone lines with no sweat. Very reasonable prices! Highly recommend.

Every once in awhile, I get the privilege to work with an honest business that just does good work at a fair price. It is nice to know that there is a local company that I can trust and rely on. After Chet's efforts and assistance with damage after this last storm, I will not use any other company. I have worked with a few other companies in Olathe. Olathe Tree Service has been the best overall experience and best customer service by far.

I hired these guys twice. After the first time my review was 5 stars but now I am changing it to 3.
The last job was to remove 2 trees and grind off stumps. They did a great job removing the trees, have no complains, and promised that someone would come over and grind stumps later. 2 months later nobody came, and Chet stopped answering my texts. Now I need someone to grind sumps for me.
Overall, half of a job done well and another half not at all.

I am really mixed with Olathe Tree Service.

We have used them three times. While the trees they trimmed always look good, their employees damaged our mailbox with their truck.

They admitted to hitting it right away and tried to fix it. It still looked bad and the door won't stay closed, so the owner offered to replace it. It is about a $250 mailbox. He stated he could either wipe our bill or he would pay for the new mailbox and would dig it in for us. I stated I wanted it replaced because it kept flying open; plus, we didn't want to dig the new one ourselves.

In the meantime, I asked him to quote our shrubs on the backside of the house. Chet was a no show and called hours after he was supposed to be at the residence to quote the job saying he would need to schedule for another day. This wasn't the first time they blew off an appointment, so I called it a day and just took the free tree trimming as payment. It isn't cool when a customer reserves time out of their schedule to stay home so that a business owner can come to make a quote. We always lock our gate unless we are home, so he would not have had access to the yard. I haven't used Olathe Tree Service since then, because I don't appreciate my time being devalued. I could have gotten over the busted up mailbox because they do a good job otherwise. . .

Did major trimming for 4 trees in our yard including removing branches from our roof and cleaning up dead branches on a box eldwr currently under going treatment. Did outstanding work! Their staff were friendly, efficient and worked together. The main trim guy spent qualiry time on our main tree looking to make it look great. Cleaned everything up and the price was very fair! Spent a full day and a half and even left me kindling for my fire pit! Super job, great staff, good communication - even the peraon anawering the phone was great!!! Had to use my neighbors driveway to do one tree and made sure their truck didn't leave oil drops. He'd just planted new grass and they did everything possible and avoided walking on it completely. 5 stats great job!

Tidd Tree has always been my trusted tree experts. They have removed three trees from my property over the last two years and all experiences have been amazing! Their staff is knowledgeable and courteous. They operate in a very safe and professional manner. They do what they say they are going to do. I like to call them the Tidd Tree family as they are very personable and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough!

Tidd Tree did a great job of cutting down a very large oak tree, as well as 3 large stumps. We were impressed with the equipment, especially the large crane. Minor disappointment in that it turned into a 2 day job and were several hours late both days without notice, after making special arrangements. minor fence damage but they came back and repaired correctly.

My service was very quick and efficient once we could connect between my appointments. Thank you for being so cooperative.
