I had a few rooms that needed to be painted prior to moving. I hired David after I felt he gave me a reasonable quote and was punctual and professional. David provided valuable insight from his experience and I was pleased that he seemed to care that I would be happy when the work was done. They went above and beyond to get the job done quickly, but also to do it well. I was very happy with the work and would highly recommend!

David and his crew did quality work to fix our sidings and re-caulking all corners of our house. Paint match was spot on, we wouldn't be able to tell which sidings are the new one, if we didn't see them put the new sidings on before hand. They also cleaned up really well, after the job was done. No trash or materials abandoned. You can't tell they were ever here. I would definitely work with him again on our future project. Highly recommended!

When we found water damage in our home that caused mold, it was an unnerving process. Thanks to online recommendations, we called Nelsen Contracting. David and his team took great care of us. His experience in these situations and the recommendations he gave were right on. Overall, because of Nelsen Contracting, our nightmare situation was easier to get through and even became a blessing for our family in the long run.

Absolutely the worst experience we’ve ever had. He’s taken over $90,000 over time from my mother who is 80 and on oxygen. She was being assured the work was being done on her rental , and getting more and more money. She didn’t know hardly any work was done the past year, until she got an out of compliance letter from the city. I went over and realized she’s been conned. He has not provided any expenses of things he told her he bought. I just met with a city official who inspected what little work has been done. It will not pass inspection, so off to the consumer fraud department Monday, then off for lawyer consultation. He offered $10,000 to not get legal counsel. The inspector said he’s maybe did $ 20’000 put not up to code. What a disaster. If you can be there daily and manage his “work “ that’s is what’s required.

The ownership here is unethical a moral and unprofessional.

Painting was left unfinished because of the unprofessional behavior of his staff and himself. I had to prepare legal action to get him to replace things broken by his employees. Ultimately, I would not want this company working anywhere near my business or home. David is utterly unprofessional and his staff are worse.

Two weeks ago I called Nelson to have them come and give us a quote for a few home repairs that need done. I was told that they would get back with us the following week. We waited all this past week and never heard a word back from them. I would absolutely NOT recommend them because they are not reliable nor responsible. I would have understood if they had other priorities come up, but if that's the case, as a business I feel strongly that they could have at least called us and let us know. NOT a very good way to run a business in my eyes. They have proven to me that if they are no more responsible or reliable than this....well, I will gladly give my business to another company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Previously we had great experiences with David and his crew, but on contracting for a deck to be built they completed 90% of the work and then vanished, leaving the cleanup and roof installation undone. Communication was one sided, and after 3 months of promising to come out and finish the project and then never showing, we terminated our relationship. NOW we are discovering that the deck is in fact not even in code, improperly supported, and some supports are even starting to separate on this deck that isn't even 6 months old. Regrettably, we gladly recommended this company to friends previously, but we DO NOT recommend this company now. Disappointing and unprofessional service.
