CHEAPEST TREE WORK

I hired Cheapest Treeworks LLC to complete tree work, which they performed as agreed. However, the billing experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The invoice was issued after the work was completed and clearly stated a due date of May 4, 2025—both in the PDF and email. Despite this, a $35 late fee was added on April 19, well before the invoice was even due.

I paid the full invoice amount on May 2, ahead of the due date. When I called to question the early fee, I was threatened with an additional 20% penalty if I did not pay it. Wanting to avoid further unjust charges, I reluctantly paid the late fee. During the call, the owner was rude and combative—talking over me, refusing to listen, and insisting the invoice was “payable on completion,” which, in my understanding, means when the work is finished, not before an invoice has even been issued or before the stated due date.

This was the most unprofessional and disrespectful interaction I’ve had with a business. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Alex's team did great work on trimming some trees in my backyard. They were fast and cleaned up after they were done. Will definitely be using them again.

Excellent service, price, and great communication! You would imagine my surprise when my neighbors tree fell into my house, but these guys were there the next day to get it removed and hauled away!
