My husband and I were thrilled with the service provided by Graves. They showed up first thing and worked all day to get the trees and yard taken care of. They offered additional services and recommendations with no pressure. The yard was cleaner once they had finished than when when they arrived. The employees were professional and polite. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

I was in a tight spot on removing 2 dead trees, I called Jeffrey Saturday at 9am he was on site by 11am both trees were down in 2 hours! 2 other companies quoted me sky high rates thankfully humbolt took care of me.

I called Humbolt's to have a cottonwood cut down and the stump removed out of my front yard this spring. It was huge and old, the roots interfering with my sewer and utility lines and it was handled swiftly, and landed the huge limbs with ease. Great cleanup and price, thank you Humbolt's!

They did some tree work for me and I was very impressed. Very quick and cleaned up everything nicely, including brush that was already there. I would recommend them, as they are also reasonably priced and friendly.

Jeff did a great job! Dropped a huge tree in a tight spot between a fence, three sheds, and our swing set without a scratch to anything! His crew did cleanup far above and beyond what we expected. Thanks guys!

Highly recommend. Very quick service and reasonably priced. Tree limbs were cut from junk trees that were overhanging into my backyard blocking sunlight. Exceptional cleanup performed when job was completed.

Trimmed up a tree overhanging a roof, as well as removed several small trees. I could not believe how fast they got here and got the job done. AND for the best price I could find. Excellent job and will recommend to my friends.

Before I even say anything. I can guarantee you this review will be met with an extremely defensive response where absolutely zero responsibility is taken and we will likely be accused of smearing or lying when really, we just wanted our downed tree removed.

Early on 6/10/22 there was a horrible storm in Wichita knocking down one of our trees in our backyard. I took the liberty of looking up tree removal services for my husband to call and start to get quotes on. Humbolt was his second call to which when the phone was answered he was met with a "Hello?"
My husband asked if this was Humbolt Tree Service he had called in order to clarify because usually businesses identify themselves on the phone when answering. This individual did not. When he was asked if this was the business he had called he was met with the sarcastic response and then told to "Hurry up" with what we were wanting. At that point it was clear we were wasting his time so my husband said we would not be doing business with him and hung up.

I'm so disappointed in the response from the owner which was to accuse us of spam probably because our phone numbers are not local. Have you heard of moving to the area? Neither of us were born in the area but I can assure you we've lived in Wichita for several years. We don't even want anything from this business at this point, but we will advocate for ourselves to show what kind of precedence is set by poor business practices. It's sad because we would much rather support small local business, but we will not be supporting poor behavior.

Jeff Humbolt with Humbolt Tree Service did an amazing job on a HUGE Mulberry tree for me. He even worked on it on Christmas Eve afternoon. He got it cut down, cut up and all of the debris hauled off. If you need tree work done, give him a call and help support a small business owner

Jeff did a fantastic job removing one of our trees and trimming another tree. He is dependable, reasonable and does a great job. I will definitely call him again.

Returned my call the same day and showed up for estimate on time. Beat the other estimates and is a very professional crew! Took down a whole elm tree, trimmed another one and 2 sycamores from over the roof. Cut all the small trees around the fence and deck, took care of a tree growing out of the gutter and even took out the poison ivy! Excellent clean up afterwards. Will use again. Give them a call, you'll be glad you did.

I reached out to Jeff a year ago regarding a 60 ft Cottonwood that was over a house and had dead 40 ft sections. After 1 year I reached back out to him and he remembered the quote, came out quickly, cut it (even on a windy day) and cleaned up the whole mess. Fantastic work, ABOVE AVERAGE COMMUNICATING, and a great deal. I own multiple properties and HUMBOLDT TREE SERVICE is now my go-to Tree Guy. Thanks Jeff!

I had just called at 4:19pm, On June 10th, 2022, and a male answered the phone saying, "hello" which is now how professional businesses typically answer their phones. I introduced myself and said, "Who do I have the pleasure of speaking with, my friend?" The male said, "Whoever you called!" in an extremely rude manner. I then said, "Is this Humbolt Tree Service?" to which he responded with, "Yeah, hurry up." Absolutely do not give this unprofessional and ungrateful business any of your time and business. Abe's Lawn and Tree was incredibly professional and took time to assist my needs. I had called them before Humbolt and was calling additional places to shop around for prices as well as possibly get a sooner service, as Abe's was backed up a few weeks.

I live in Wichita and due to the rain/wind storm from last night (this morning), there's a tree in our yard that needs removal. You're right... I have never done business with you, which is why I was calling you, big guy. That's what people do. They call to inquire about a business that they've never worked with. Did you think I was a spam account because I don't have a Wichita (316) area code number? I am obviously affiliated with another business, eh? Well, like your grammar and your improper use of your and you're, you need to re-evaluate how you handle business and be careful who may be on the other end of that phone. I am not affiliated at all with another business, tree removal or other. Have you heard of secret shoppers? Individuals who either work within the company to see how their employees are conducting business? Well they also do it with the BBB to evaluate companies in cities and states. So this post wasn't because I had nothing better to do. This post was because when someone treats someone the way that you treated me, someone you don't know who was looking for business, who also knows people in this area, it was to shine light on it. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising and while it can help you, it can seriously hurt you when you catch the wrong person to treat very poorly.

Jeff and his crew did an amazing job at a fair price! They communicated closely with me throughout the project to get it just how I wanted it, and I will definitely hire them again!

Friendly crew, nice people to deal with, straight shooting answers, fair prices, did clean up myself and they were kind enough to organize and make pick up easier for me. Have had a bad experience with another tree service in town, these guys blew me away and I would highly recommend Humbolt.

I had a tree fall on the neighbor's fence and in his yard, and needed to get it out quickly. Humbolt answered my after hours call and came out the next morning, and worked hard in the heat and took care of the problem without damaging the fence or anything else. They cleaned up afterward, and hauled everything away, so it was cleaner afterwards than it had been even before the problem.

Jeff’s services were quick and neat, no mess left behind. He was flexible and took care of our dead tree while we were at the state fair, and we conveniently settled up later when we returned.

Jeff did an excellent job trimming 3 trees and hauling away a huge pile of old tree branches I had collected. I will definitely will use Humboldt Tree Service in the future. On time and excellent clean up after trimming was completed.
