HVAC reviews in Crestwood, Kentucky

Great service.
-
The two gentlemen who came were personable, very professional, and did a wonderful job!!! Highly recommend!!!
-
Another local company too busy - too busy to realize that when the economy downturns and construction tanks, they are going to have to feed off the goodwill of repeat residential customers.
-
Elite was prompt, educated and professional. We are extremely happy with their service.
-
Misled, suggested my furnace needed replacement. Got a second opinion. Our furnace is fine.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
My 94 year old grandmother called this place to have her hvac looked at and the guy told her she had a bad compressor. But he could get it working for the moment.
After sitting in a 85 degree house on a 95 degree day we decided to get a second opinion only to find out he turned her breaker off purposely to look like the compressor went bad.
Found out it was just low on Freon. -
Called Elite July 4th at 8:30 am. Got a call back 35 minutes from the tech, 30 minutes after that Julian was at my house. By 10:30 my AC was blowing cold air again. Would highly recommend!

Elite has installed the HVAC in three homes that I have built and has always been one of the easiest subcontractors to work with. I recently had an warranty issue on my latest, and it was taken care of immediately. Already a repeat customer and would use again without hesitation.

Had new heating and air conditioning units installed on 11/7/19. Units were supposed to come with an Alexa device & Ring doorbell. Still haven’t received the devices. I call every couple of months to see what the status is. Aaron told me they would purchase the items themselves if they had to (unit manufacturer was supposed to). We did the contract with Elite, not the manufacturer.
AC went out this summer. Elite came and “repaired” it. Went out again the next day. They came and applied the proper fix a day later.
Came for fall maintenance a little over a week ago. Technician didn’t wear a mask or put covers over his shoes. Tracked grass through the house. As I was vacuuming he asked why I was doing so, the house was spotless. It was until he came in. He completes his job and tells me that we need either a $950 or $650 ionizer unit because mold was starting to form in the air handler. He said he smelled it right away when he opened the unit up. He said he cleaned it all up. Why didn’t he show me prior to cleaning it?!? Something smells, alright! -
The only reason I’m giving them one star is because zero isn’t an option. My thermostat went out, and I called them because the old Middletown Heating & Cooling sticker was on the unit I inherited when I bought the home. Their sales guy came out immediately and explained that even though my furnace was on the verge of failure, I had to replace the ENTIRE unit - AC and all - because my 9-year old carrier system is just so technical and sensitive that it simply cannot integrate with a new furnace without a total replacement. Conveniently, he was able to offer a $12,600 line of credit.
I filled out the requisite information for PRE-approval, never committing to the project. It took two phone calls and one fifteen minute second opinion from a local competitor, which saved me $6,000. Here’s where it gets almost criminal: I receive a credit card in the mail for that $12,600 line of credit. NOT a soft inquiry, but an actual credit card with my name and account on it. I reach out to the “Elite” salesman who says, “Oh, don’t do anything with the card, and it will expire after 72 hours.” The creditor (Wells Fargo) calls to ensure that I actually received the service. I had not, and although Elite first charged and then took off the charge, the line of credit would have otherwise remained open.
This Elite company is anything but. Please exercise extreme caution, and be patient while you find a second opinion. They clearly count on people not having the time or know-how to fully vet this major financial decision. -
Purchased an entire home unit at the cost of $11,400. One year into ownership, ac stops working. Tech comes out and says motherboard is fried. New one is $700 plus labor. I expressed that "No sir this has a 10 year warranty" which he then explained "oh but you didn't renew your maintenance plan at $199 a year, so it voids your warranty". I asked what the maintenance plan was. He said "we come out twice a year to service the unit". If he said renew that implies I had it for year one, and they did not come out even once to service the machine. Nor did they explain this when selling me the unit or even call and try to sell me the plan when it was "expiring". This company seems like a scam. I will update this review once the owner makes this right and reached out... Ridiculous business practices. Scam artists

Very happy customers, we needed all new system and rewiring to move from propane to electric, the work and equipment that was done is quality, We've lived in this home for almost 9yr and it feels more comfortable than since buying the home, I recommend Havens!

Saw good reviews and was not disappointed. They had an opening the day I called. The repairman arrived on time in the given 1 hour window. Quickly got to work and thoroughly answered any questions I had. Great business! I will use them again and would recommend!

I have used this company twice - once to replace a heating unit and once for an a/c unit. They responded quickly and I have never had an issue with any of their work. Very professional. Will be using them in the future.
-
charged me almost 400.00 to put 2 lbs of freon in my system. did not first try to find the leak...just said I needed to replace my system. 1 month later....no a/c....

Nonresponse from webpage request, phone call goes to voicemail (during posted hours) but voicemail is full and you cannot leave a message, texting to number given during answer service doesn't respond and trip to their offices looks (clear glass front) is not attended and looks as if office upkeep isn't performed and paperwork and empty boxes are all over.
How did this place get 4.7 stars?
The window has a banner celebration of great service recognition up to 2021... So maybe that was a long time ago with this being mid 2023.
