Reviews of local pros in Georgetown, Kentucky

I needed to have a very large tree removed in a tricky place in my backyard. The owner came out and was very professional in quoting the job, gave very reasonable pricing, and let me know exactly what to expect. He quoted an amount of time and was even able to get my tree removed sooner than first thought. When he and his worker came out, they were very respectful of my property and did exactly what they said they were going to do. The worker even chatted with my babbling five and two year old while he was working and answered every question they threw at him. When they were finished with the tree, they left my property looking even better than when they got here. I will need more trees removed at a later date and I will definitely call them. Thanks for doing such a great job.

Jon removed a big maple tree from my yard, hauled off the debris and ground the stump. He done excellent work! The yard was cleaned up and in perfect condition after the work was done. I would highly recommend his services! Will definitely call him for all lawn care needs.

Can’t say enough good things about Jon and his team. They are always priced accordingly to the job , always show up when they say they will . Are very respectful of property, and the clean up is impeccable. They are insured and I highly recommend their services. This is one company you can trust over and over again.

Lawn Worx was timely in responding to my request for a quote, gave me a fair price and was able to complete my job quickly the next day. They gave me exactly what I asked for and were careful, ensuring no damage to my wooden fence or my house where one large tree was very close and spreading over both. They'll be back soon to remove the stumps. Highly recommend them.

Jon was very responsive. He quickly got me a quote. When I told him I chose Lawn Worx he set the job up quickly. They did a fantastic job cleaning up. The quote was fairly priced compared to the 5 other quotes I received. I'd hire Lawn Worx again.

I was referred to Lawn Worx by a landscaper who was doing some work for us in the backyard. I needed to have a tree removed and a drainage issue solved before the landscaper could continue with his work. I contacted the owner, Jon Zimmerman, by text and he responded within the hour. He made an appointment to give us an estimate within just a few days. We agreed on what needed to be done and a price. At this juncture, I thought he was just going to take a tree down but my husband mentioned that we needed some minor drainage work done. Jon assessed the situation and quickly offered a solution and told us he had the equipment to take care of of the problem. Again, a very fair price and date was agreed upon. From this point, Jon told us when he would be here to do the work and arrived precisely on time. It took more than one day to do the work, and along the way he kept me informed of when he would be here and what he would be doing. In addition to doing the tree work we contracted for with skill and professionalism, we felt that Jon went above and beyond to leave leave the site clean of debris and well groomed. Jon and his crew were at all times prompt, professional and courteous. He was able to solve a drainage issue we have had issues with for several years.
I highly recommend Jon Zimmerman and Lawn Worx and will definitely be utilizing his services in the future. Thanks, Lawn Worx!

Jon and Tyler did an exceptional job removing 2 of our trees. One was a white pine overhanging our neighbor’s driveway. They completed the job in less than three hours! The cleanup was above and beyond what we expected as well. Not a pine needle to be found. The next tree was a large, dying ash tree. The team worked efficiently, safely and professionally. They again removed all the debris and our backyard has never looked so good. They quoted more than a fair price for both trees. They were extremely courteous and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this business for any landscaping project. We contacted them upon receiving a friend’s recommendation, and we are so happy we did!

We used John and team to remove dead trees (2 were quite large) and then stump grinding and clean up. We contacted them during a busy time (spring) and he set expectations on timing and kept us informed prior to the removal day. He provided information on contacts for digging checks that made that easier for us. The work was excellent and done timely. They spend extra time on the clean up to make it even better than we expected. Pricing was the best of the 3 quotes we received. Great work - highly recommend!

Lawn Worx is the best landscaping company in Kentucky! We had a large tree fall and Jon was able to come out and get the tree moved in less than 30 minutes. His work is exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations. I highly recommend Lawn Worx for any and all landscaping needs. Jon and his son are extremely professional, reliable, honest, fairly priced and above all, experts at their craft. We will always hire Lawn Worx for all of our landscaping and tree work! Thank you guys for the awesome work! We really appreciate you!

Great to work with. Very timely responses and got the work done early. Had out of control landscaping and too much of it. They did an awesome job getting everything dug out and replaced with plants/bushes more suited to the space. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

Wonderful service. Jon made sure everything was the way we wanted it. He even took the time to be careful with the nest full of birds as they trimmed our tree. Cleaned up so thoroughly that you wouldn’t even know he’d been there. Even went the extra mile and swept up a pile of debris that I’d left in the yard from pulling up weeds. Will definitely recommend LawnWorx to anyone I know needing yard work done.

We used Jon and his crew to trim back our magnolia tree that was in desperate need of help. Not only did they do an excellent job, Jon made great recommendations on keeping the tree shaped up between prunings. Lawnworx also removed two holly bushes that were on either side of our porch that couldn't be kept looking nice. I jokingly said that we no longer look like the Addams Family after Jon and company worked their magic. We highly recommend Jon for all your needs. He was a true pleasure to work with.

Jason and his team were great. They worked in inclement weather and delivered a beautiful fence of high quality. Would recommend.

2026 update!! Jason and his crew installed a patio in my backyard and a walkway in my front yard. Great work!!!!

Jason and the JCrew did a great job on my projects. He had excellent ideas for projects I didn’t know how to fix exactly. I will definitely call him again for 3 more projects in the spring

I hired Kingdom Landscapes to install new sod in my front yard. Jason was quick to respond to my request for a quote on the project. He communicated well with me throughout the run up to the start of the job and provided me with advice on watering, when to fertilize and when to begin mowing. On the day of the installation Jason was onsite supervising his colleagues and assisting them in preparing the yard for the sod to be laid and also in laying the sod. If I have future landscaping projects I would be confident in hiring Kingdom Landscapes.

I’m very happy with my new privacy fence and the overall installation experience. The crew was friendly, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. They showed up on time, worked hard throughout the day, and paid attention to the small details that really make a difference. The fence itself looks fantastic—straight, sturdy, and built with quality materials that feel like they’ll last for years. The added privacy has made a huge difference, and it really improved the look of my yard. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a fence installation.

Kingdoms Landscapes built a retaining wall on my steep side yard to replace an old railroad tie situation. They also built small borders around the flower beds on both sides of the house. Jason was quick to get to my house in Lexington for an estimate -within 3 days. The actual service was done two weeks later-not a bad wait time. I had several estimates to compare and the cost was reasonable. I am thrilled with the way the wall turned out. I am posting the “before” photo as well so you can see what he had to work with. They worked all day to get it done and left the worksite clean. I highly recommend this business!

Amazing job and worked until dusk to get it done.

Highly recommend! Great communication, easy & quick scheduling.

Only have good things to say about this company; Friendly, timely, knowledgeable, quick and good value for a great service! Will definitely use them again for future projects!

They were very professional and showed up on time.
Very pleased with the results and will definitely use them again.
