Reviews of local pros in Georgetown, Kentucky

I've used JD and his team for tree removal and trimming 3 times over the last 5 years. They are responsive, prompt, reasonably priced, and careful. While the first two times (8 trees and then 2 trees) exhibited the first 3 characteristics, the most recent tree felling very much hit on the "careful" attribute as it was of a large hickory with stump uprooted, lying against my privacy fence and two of my neighbor's trees. With intricate roping and cutting, JD was able to remove the tree without harm to my fence or my neighbor's trees. I will continue to use JD for all my tree services and continue to recommend the team to all those in my neighborhood.

I would recommend JDS Tree Removal to everyone. We requested a quote from a different trimmer and JD was half the price. They came out the same day for the estimate and came out the next day to complete the job.
The team was professional and courteous. They cleaned up afterwards and left our yard and street clean. They did a great job and now we no longer have to worry about our tree falling on our house or our neighbor’s house.
Thank you JD and your team!

JD has done tree work and built retaining walls for us. All his work has been done quickly when an emergency, and within a short time frame otherwise. He does a great job on retaining walls and all work is done to meet our specs and cleanup is great. Highly recommend.

I had a very tricky tree-removal project involving massive trees in a tight space close to my historic home. I sought out 8–10 bids. Several companies simply refused to take the job because of the difficulty, and others quoted prices that were entirely unaffordable.

JD stood out immediately. He had the best rate, the best communication, and a crew that was experienced, competent, and completely professional from start to finish. They handled the work with care and confidence, and the results were excellent.

I would highly recommend JD’s Tree Removal for any tree-removal needs.

Josh Davidson and his crew are top notch, professionals! They worked efficiently all day in our yard that is on a hill and really hard work. Removing really tall trees close to our home and cutting back limbs all around our home. Their tree climber was impressive to say the least. Fair price for the work and an honest dude. I had many companies quote me and I trusted what Josh had to say the most. He didn’t try to oversell and stated the facts. Much appreciated and highly recommend!

Justin was great to work with! He was very responsive and provided us with the best quote for the jobs we were wanting completed! 10/10 recommend!

Have used Justin and his crew couple times. They showed up when they said, did a great job. Would certainly use them again and they were reasonable for my needs.

These guys showed up when they said they were going to and did an amazing job in probably half of the time it would have taken me to do it. I don't normally recommend people since it seems to always come back to bite me in the butt but I'm telling you what if I ever need tree services again and I will these are the guys I will contact. They even had rakes with them and cleaned up the mess afterwards

Justin & his team did outstanding work that is why I rated them high. He is very professional, caring about his client & the work he does. He goes beyond making sure it is done so right.

Justin was 2 days early, took half the time, for half the price quoted by another service. He and his team cleaned up, not only what they took down but, but they raked my whole yard. Walnuts and all. Thank you so much. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Justin and his crew did an excellent job trimming a large bradford pear and a latge magnolia tree. Price was very reasonable, they were on time, did excellent work, crew was very nice and they did a great job of cleaning up. Would definetly recommend them.

The entire crew did a great job! Took down one big tree and several smaller nuisance trees that were messing with the fence. They also trimmed several other large trees to clear up around the pool and deck. They cleaned up the debris and coordinated with me on coming back to angle cut a couple of stumps because they didn't have what they needed with them. (These were added to the job that day.)

By far the very best tree service I have ever used. Justin and his crew are very meticulous with their clean up and their safety implementations are 100%. If I ever need tree service again I will be calling this company. Thank you L&L.

Justin and his crew have done numerous jobs for us, and have performed admirably every time! Safety is a big concern for them and they were always careful around my plantings. I appreciate their work ethics and loyalty as well.

I called Justin from a referral from another tree company who couldn’t do the job (a climber was needed) and he fit me in between jobs that day!!! Would highly recommend!

Justin and his crew did a fantastic job! Great service Best price in town.

Justin came out and gave me a fair price to do some tree trimming. The next day he and his crew came out and did everything he said he would. Very satisfied with all the work that was done. I will use him for any future projects.

Unlike many others that I contacted, they showed up, provided proof of insurance, were respectful and polite. Done exactly what we agreed on and offered a great price.

In the future, if I need to have any trees removed or trimmed, they will be my first call.

I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to have some trees, trimmed or removed.

I had a huge elm too close to the house and showing stress signs. Justin from L&L gave me an estimate well below another one that I had. He communicated well through the whole process. Everything he promised he did in a timely matter. We remain in touch for future projects.

Justin and L&L tree service saved my house and my propane tank. A clutch of trees were uprooted in this latest storm and poised to cause some serious damage, it was truly an emergency, and they came to my rescue. From 11pm til 2am, the crew worked hard and efficiently, in a concerned and safety conscious manner. I highly recommend their service, and shall be using them again to keep my property safe and my trees healthy. Tonight, they were my angels, and I can finally go to sleep knowing I wont be waking to a disaster.

Justin has done several jobs for me at my property. The first work he performed for me was removing some dead trees that had fallen on my old house. He was prompt, responsive and did the work for a fair price. Highly recommend.
