The installers, Joshua & Joshua, did a great job with new wood fireplace insert! Called in advance to tell me on the way, moved furniture, used drop clothes, and cleaned up afterwards. Both very nice! Overall great experience!

Christian was very professional and performed a comprehensive evaluation of our chimney. He created a detailed report with photos and reviewed each item with me in detail. I wouldn’t use another service for chimney repair/inspection.

Christian came to inspect and clean our wood burning stove chimney flue (I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terms) for the winter. He was friendly, clean, professional, and made sure I understood everything he explained. I will definitely use American Chimney and Fireplace next year.

We had American Chimney come prepare an estimate in January 2026. They took the time to take photos and give us bad news and an extremely high estimate. (Even the cost of the estimate was high) They never followed up, but we called them twice to get the promised report. The second time we received it but the manager that called us back insisted it was our error in not being able to find the report. In the meantime, another chimney company provided an estimate for FREE, sent the report within a few minutes (that we received and reviewed), and followed up with phone calls.

I had a great experience with American Chimney. I had my seasonal service performed and Sean did an amazing job. Everything is good as new and looks perfect going into the winter months. Thanks so much for another quality job.

Christian and Daniel were awesome. I have 3 fireplaces that haven’t been used in awhile that they serviced. They were professional and courteous. They did a great job with the fireplaces they look and run good as new.

Christian and Daniel called ahead and arrived early for my appointment. That's always nice. They were both polite and professional, taking the time to explain exactly what the inspection would entail and providing chimney anatomy 101 so I could understand the work. Christian shared the camera footage with me as he did the interior inspection and explained what we were seeing and what it meant for the condition of my chimney. I live in a 75 year old house and the chimney is original.

Not surprisingly the interior is in need of significant repair and updating to ensure safe use of the wood burning fireplace. Christian explained each step of the process of repair and provided a detailed itemized cost for parts and labor. That seldom happens these days. Though it's never a happy occupance to have unplanned expense, I feel confident about the proposed work and look forward to having a safe to operate fireplace!

After searching online for a reputable chimney service company, I decided to try American Chimney and Fireplace, based on their website content, customer reviews and service offerings. Right from the start, I appreciated the ease of online scheduling of the appointment. A friendly technician called the day of the appointment to announce he and an associate were on their way. Andrew and Cameron showed up on time to perform a chimney and fireplace inspection and cleaning. They were personable, professional and very knowledgeable about their business. They answered all our questions about safety and efficiency of using a wood burning fireplace in the home while performing their duties. After the service, they prepared a comprehensive report that identified everything about the condition and operation of our fireplace, as well as recommended alternatives to support safe use and care. I appreciated their thorough service performance and evaluation, all completed within the scheduled time of the appointment. American Chimney's Flue Inspection Service (for Gas Water Heater and Gas Furnace) saved my family's health. For three years after buying the house, I noticed our Carbon Dioxide (CO2) levels were extremely high during the winter and elevated during the summer. I had multiple HVAC companies come and investigate and no one suggested (or would when I asked) to inspect the flue liner and the drafting of the gas water heater and furnace up into and through our chimney. Through countless google searches, I found American Chimney was the only company advertising inspection and repair of flue liners for gas water heater/gas furnaces. The team came and inspected and pointed out obvious installation and maintenance flaws in the flue as well as telltale signs of poor drafting. Further inspection showed the flue liner was deformed and corroded to the point of failure at the top of the chimney. They quickly fit me into their schedule just as we started getting into the colder temperatures and began removing and installing a flue liner with 25 year warranty. They hit a snag from an errant brick from when the house was build in the 50's that made installation difficult, but they came back and stayed late to get the job done right. After a week of running the furnace (and water heater) my CO2 monitor shows normal levels in the house! The flue liner is properly installed with new materials and sealed properly. They also performed a draft test to confirm the byproducts of combustion were drafting and flowing correctly through the liner and out the top of the chimney. Everyone I interacted with at American Chimney was kind, professional (Bonus points for wearing boot coverings when in our house. Bonus points for flawless and efficient scheduling and reminders and payments) and understood the importance and urgency of this service and fix.

I wholeheartedly recommend this team for any of you chimney (or flue) service needs.
