Never received a response back from my call seeking their services

Edit: 10-21-23. Wise H&C reached out to me after my initial review explaining they didn’t have a record of me calling them. After providing them with a screenshot of my attempt to seek their services, they investigated further to try to identify why there was no record on their end of my attempts to reach them. Their response in this matter to identify & correct this situation is exactly the reason I reached out to them in the first place, which was due to the positive reviews I’d read when researching which company to call. This restores my initial impression of their business & employees based on the reviews I’d read prior to attempting to contact them. Therefore I am updating my review to 5 stars & I will consider contacting them again in the future if I have need of their services. I appreciate their effort to respond , investigate & try to understand & resolve my concerns.

The Wise guys (yeah, I said it) replaced the larger HVAC unit (both AC/coil and furnace) for our Norton Commons home yesterday. I’ve seen online reviews that describe an experience with a product or service provider as like being with family. Hiring Wise is just that, like hanging out with your family for a day. From start to finish, their attention to detail, professionalism, know-how, and communication skills were top-notch. White glove stuff. There were no corners cut. They simply did it right. One example from yesterday- the furnace came with a minuscule dent in the exterior cabinet. They said, “We wouldn’t accept this for our own homes, so we won’t accept it for yours.” They waited for more than an hour while one of the Wise brothers went to fetch a replacement. First class. I would never use one of the big boy HVAC providers in Louisville when Wise is superior in every way. One more thing- their prices are also the best in town. Thanks, Wise.

I want to give a shout-out to the Wise team for a great job installing a new HVAC system recently.

I first called them last year when I had no AC for a night. Jake Wise came out the same day I called and repaired the problem.

I had another AC problem 2 weeks ago and out came Jake, the next day, to add refrigerant . Three days later, no AC again. I left a message on Sunday and got am immediate call back, and again, Jake came out the next day. The refrigerant leak was past the repair point. It was time to retire my 30 year old HVAC and get a new one. Jake topped off the refrigerant at no charge to keep it cool until the Wise team could schedule the installation two days later.

I couldn't ask for a more professional and friendly installation. It said a lot when the team got out their own vacuum for final clean-up.

The Wise team did a great job in installing our new A/C unit. They also installed some extra boards in the attic for access and fixed a previous installers mistakes. Highly recommend and will use for future HVAC projects.

I have a 30 year old system and had others in the past try to scare me into buying an entirely new system at outrageous prices. Randy Wise shot me straight and told me I could get more years out of my current one. 3 years later and it still runs! We lost power a few nights ago and it kicked the blower off and the capacitor blew. Today, Jacob Wise was repairing my system within 2 hours of me calling them. He shot me straight and told me it only needed a new capacitor. Also said it was still running great and seemed like it still had some years left. I will never use another HVAC company. Wise is fair, truthful, and downright good people!

I had Wise Heating install a new Bryant furnace when my old one no longer worked. I was so pleased with the service and professionalism they provided. The Wise team had my old system out and the new one working in a matter of hours. I have nothing but good things to say about Wise. They are the best! I will never use anyone else!

One word describes Wise Heating and Air Conditioning: Incomparable! I have had three other companies, including the installer, attempt to diagnose the same problem that has persisted for years. They all tried the same "fix" with no change in the problem. Wasted money!
Jake Wise came promptly to my home and spent time carefully diagnosing the problem regardless of what the others said. He came to a very different conclusion than the others and discovered exactly what was wrong AND FIXED IT!! He carefully explained the problem, showed me in detail, and allowed me to watch while he got on the floor in the basement, crawled inside the bottom of the unit and repaired what was clearly a faulty installation by the installer. All I can say is, "Wise for the win!"
I will never use another HVAC company!

I don't write many reviews, but in this case I certainly had to. Don't hesitate, call these folks! They are first and foremost honest and compassionate, and they aren't afraid to help walk you through any repair they deem appropriate. I guarantee that if you call these people, you wont be calling anyone else.

7/12/22 Edit: Jack came and saved the day today! My AC went out and he responded within 30 minutes, had my system back up and running in another 30 minutes. Wise is amazing!

Wise HVAC was literally the best service I have ever had. They were super friendly and very professional. The office manager went above and beyond to help me with my financing. The installers not only did immaculate work, but also took the time to educate me on the products I was purchasing. This family-run business actually treated me like their family. I can’t possibly recommend them enough. You are making a mistake if you don’t use them for your HVAC work.

Randy Wise and his sons were the most professional and forthright of the three companies from whom I obtained estimates. They were also the most reasonably priced. They were incredibly responsive to my texts and telephone inquiries leading up to the installation. It was tremendously helpful dealing directly with the owner of the company. His sons were extremely professional, well-mannered and helpful in answering questions I had about various options I was considering. I researched the various AC and furnace brands and found the company that makes the Bryant equipment installed by Wise Heating & AC is also the maker of other competing brands. During the estimate phase, Zach Wise who provided the estimate did not try to upsell me and carefully considered the best options for me to include researching the square footage of my home via PVA records (something no other companies did.) I was interested in including a UL light as part of the install to help with reducing mold, viruses, and bacteria on the cooling coil. Zach said, although there are lights that would cost well over $1,000, he recommended a light that he and his family members installed at their homes which was priced under $200. Randy and his sons arrived promptly on the day of install and completed all the work in a very professional and quality manner. I was extremely impressed by their diligence in ensuring everything was done in a professional manner. Everything was cleaned up at the conclusion of the project. I highly recommend Wise Heating & AC for their professionalism, quality of work, pricing and honesty.

We were SO happy with Wise heating and air! They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied... and left my house cleaner than when I left! They were cheaper than any quote I got, but the value exceeded any HVAC company we have worked with in the past. This is a family business with a father and sons and they treated us like family as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wise Heating and Cooling were fantastic and very professional. Randy Wise is most knowledgeable and honest in what you need and the best way to get things done. Wise was professional, thorough, and quick in getting our new Furnace installed so that we could get back into our home with our kids comfortably. We really appreciate Wise and will be using them in the future for all of our heating and cooling needs.

I’ve always heard great things about this company and so when I had trouble with my air handler of 40 plus years I called Wise. They did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend this company. Jake had the part(unbelievable given it’s at least 40 years old) and I had cool air within an hour and 1/2. Excellent service.

We have used Wise for about 4 years now. We had an old existing system they helped to service and keep running. When the system finally bit the dust they gave us multiple quotes and advice about the best system for our home. They scheduled the install and arrived on time. They are clean cut and professional, extremely polite and take care of your home. They protected carpets and cleaned ever bit of mess from the install.

Not to mention it's a local family owned business. We reccommend Wise to everyone in a heartbeat.

Wise Heating & Air Conditioning is awesome! They kept my old 1999 unit running through last summer and replaced it and the coil this past Monday. They had respectful and efficient staff show up and worked independently, while I worked from home. They left everything inside and out in order and I would not hesitate to have them come to my home again. Thank you for your professionalism and flexibility with my work schedule. You guys are the BEST!

Wise Heating & Air Conditioning came and fixed my existing AC unit after a competitor had previously told me it was shot and quoted me $6-7K on a replacement.

The technician from Wise was a joy to work with and fixed my unit for a reasonable price.

I appreciated his honesty in telling me what was wrong and what my options were. I plan on using Wise Heating & Air Conditioning on all my HVAC needs moving forward and will be telling my friends and family to work with them too!

We had Wise HVAC do a project for us last month. We had two previous hvac companies come out and look at the project. They both recommended a solution that was going to cost several thousand dollars. I decided to contact Wise after I researched them and found out they are a family owned business and had excellent reviews.
Within a day of contacting them, they came out, looked at our situation. They asked questions the other guys didn't. The proposed a solution that saved us 70% of the previous two quotes.
These are some if the nicest, most honest and skilled technicians of any kind that I have worked with. They also cleaned up to the point you wouldn't know the work had been done.
I'll never call another company for anything HVAC related.

Amazing to work with. I had a very complicated project involving moving an outdoor unit and replacing 2 old HVAC units, one of which was in the attic of a 80 year old house that would involve some demo and other extra work. Zach was able to spell out everything and get me comfortable with the plan before we even started. He was very responsive as I had many questions. He gave me his cell # so I was able to text him along the way and he was always quick to respond. I found them to be very trustworthy and I feel that they didn't cut any corners. They added extra layers of protection/alerting for the attic unit to hopefully prevent any issues before they caused major damage. The workers who did the actual job were very nice and professional and went out of their way to explain everything as they went along and answer any questions I might have. They also gave me lots of advice for proper maintenance going forward.

Overall, I would trust them for any of my HVAC needs going forward.

Led by Randy Wise and his sons, this company was a joy with which to work. They put so much thought into how to best install our HVAC system in order to have it running at its best and keeping our house comfortable. Randy knows his stuff and has been in the business for years. He was fair with pricing, prompt in his communications and even came out after work hours to assess our situation. Great work, fair price, friendly service and fast installation (they were able to install the next day). I’d highly recommend!

Highly recommend for their professionalism and care for customers! I would always reach out to them first for future HVAC issues. Here is why. We recently had a gas leak. LG&E did an inspection and told us one part of our furnace needed to be replaced and the unit was near its end of life. We quoted 3 contractors on either repairing or replacing the furnace. Wise was the only contractor who told us we did not need to replace the furnace. It turned out the gas leak was caused by the water heater. They literally saved us thousands of dollars. We greatly appreciate their help!

I normally work with Jake, who is exceptional, but everyone on their team is great. This is a wonderful family-owned business, and it shows in the quality of their work and the loyalty they show to their long-time clients.
