We’ve been using Wainscott’s for several years for our Community Landscaping needs. Last night we had storms that left a Maple tree split and threatening our new plants as well as our utility center. John made arrangements to send his crew over to have the tree removed before the day was over! We were grateful they were able to help us out on short notice!

I called for an estimate on a small piece of landscaping with pavers for the front of my house. Nearly 3 weeks have passed and each time I call I get to the answering machine. Obviously my call wasn't important like your message says. Found someone else to come out and do the work.

No one yo answer calls. Does not return voice mail messages

Good work and a fair price what more can you ask for today! I have used this company for over 5 years for my business and personal yards.

After trying multiple lawn care services and never being completely satisfied, we tried Padgett for weekly mowing and edgeing service. The price was unbeatable and our lawn looks like Augusta National.

With fertilizer and all the rain in Lexington this spring, our grass is growing quickly between our appointments. Without any prompting, Padgett's crew mows over the grass twice, with one guy blowing the clumps apart behind each pass with the mower. The result is a lawn fit for a magazine cover. I could not be happier with the service and will continue to recommend their lawn care to anyone who needs it.

Great friendly family run company who does a fabulous job. They have excellent service and their employees are so polite. I don’t know if I could live a summer again without their mosquito control. It is a game changer.

I would avoid this company. They sent a new, untrained young person to mow my lawn almost every time, and often these kids would mow over our plants, destroy our vines, break my sewer clean out, and dent our pool with the trimmer. When I approached the kids about it, they told me their bosses had them mow 17 lawns a day and were exhausted. They were sorry but seemed overwhelmed and underprepared. It looked like they were trained to go as fast as they could with no regard for quality or care of property. I learned later there were paid by commission based on how many lawns they could mow in a day.

I asked that Padgett text me when they were sending someone out, and if they were new, that they would come talk to me first. That was rarely communicated or respected. They told me there was a digital map of my yard, and that notes would be left from person to person. I never saw a map, the employees didn't know about a map, and every employee mowed at different heights, speeds, and had different issues. None of them rang the doorbell or texted as I had asked. It was clear that Padgett did not want my business, seemingly because I was a small fish. With all of the landscaping competition in the Lexington area, I would think they would care about the satisfaction of all of their customers, not just the ones who do full landscapes.

Perhaps they are having growing pains as a business. I understand that. I was willing to work with them, but when I contacted the owners/managers, all I would get is a "sorry about that," and then the same thing would happen again. No phone calls. No responses to emails. When I finally moved on, with an email, no response. Crickets.

If you are looking for landscaping or mowing, I recommend looking elsewhere.
