Fox Pro is a great family owned business for all your Landscaping needs. I use these guys every year for yard cleanup and they continue to deliver quality service at its best! Brian and Aiden are very personable and do their best to ensure the customer is happy at all times. Give them a call - estimates are reasonable and process is painless.

We started using Fox pro Landscaping several years ago for our seasonal clean up. That has now turned into weekly lawn maintenance and most recently last year new landscaping design. I intend to continue on this year as well with more landscape design because the work ethic and dedication to the job and the attention to detail and design on the landscape project last year was extremely impressive and exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend Fox Pro for your landscaping needs you will not be disappointed.

I’ve used Fox Pro Landscaping Services on several occasions over the past year. Each time I have been very satisfied with their service. Brian and his crew are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Always arrive promptly at the scheduled time. I whole heartedly recommend them and look forward to utilizing them for my landscaping needs in the future.

I recently hired Fox Pro Landscaping for a full landscaping project at my home, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From the initial consultation, Brian Fox and his son were professional, responsive and clearly passionate about their work. They helped transform my overgrown and neglected yard into a beautiful outdoor space again. One of the best parts was the pricing – very reasonable compared to other quotes I received, and there were no surprise charges. They stuck to the agreed budget and completed the job on time. I look forward to working with them again in the near future.

Such a great experience working with Fox Pro Landscaping! We bought our home in September and, as our property is mostly trees, we had never seen the front yard due to all the leaves. Brian and Aiden did a spring cleanup and removed all the leaves, sticks, and brush- we were amazed at the results. They are absolutely perfectionists and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the clean up. Great communication, very friendly, and at a very reasonable price. We look forward to working with Fox Pro Landscaping again!

I found Fox pro landscaping on line. I had them do an estimate for me which was a great price. I needed alot of landscaping done due to not be able myself. He came and redesigned moved some plants around and did it all in one day. I am so happy so is my mom she has something beautiful to look at. Brian and his son were very professional. They went over and beyond to make us happy and even chk to see if we need anything fixed or added. Very caring this is my new landscaper. Debbie Masucci

Fox Pro Landscaping was great!! Brian was extremely efficient with coming out and doing the initial look and getting me the quotes. The quote approval online and scheduling was very easy. Brian and his son Aiden removed overcrowded bushes for me and trimmed the remaining bushes in my front yard. I also had a simple flower bed installed with a few plants/mulch in the back yard. It is exactly what I wanted and will be gorgeous when the Lilac bush, and Rose of Sharon are full grown. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all my questions and then some and explained everything thoroughly. Thanks so much, I love my new flower bed!

A few of our electrical technicians were handling an emergency call, digging in the snow trying to find an electrical box, waiting for our backhoe to arrive, one of the Groundhog technicians was driving by and offered to move the mound of snow with his plow. It was extremely helpful and saved a lot of time digging.

Spent over 100k with them in 2023. TLDR: hardscape work was amazing, but bad experience with irrigation and planting beds. They don't stand by the quality of their work, will nickel and dime you, and customer service is horrible.
Irrigation leaked from day 1. We complained 3 times in 2023. A tech came 3 times and tightened a clamp each time and told us it was not leaking. When they came to blow out for the winter the irrigation manager told me he identified a valve that was blowing air and he felt it was a crack or defect with the valve. Several plants - probably 8-10 of them, started to die in the fall. He assured me he would add notes to the account and fix everything in the spring, replace the dying plants, and add new mulch.
Spring arrived, no one came. A tech showed up to reopen and test after winter. They never put notes on my account and over the winter the irrigation manager was fired. I explained everything, the tech found the same leaking valve and tightened the clamp again despite me telling him the manager said it needed to be replaced. During the visit the tech changed my watering schedule to increase the water by 4x. They did NOT tell me - now the struggling plants were totally dead due to the additional overwatering. I called the owner and complained - he said he'd never heard we had a problem and acted as if his company is not responsible just because he wasn't personally aware. He promised to handle it himself, but didn't show up. Another week later he sent someone different from the office, they brought a tech and fixed some valves that were stuck due to sediment (this part was no one's fault and would not have mattered given the 4x overwatering schedule they set) and told me the watering schedule was very wrong (as if I set it myself) - he didn't know his own tech set the schedule. They removed the schedule. Then they CHARGED $450 for the visit and did NOT replace any plants or mulch.
Another couple weeks go by a new batch of plants stated to die. I found that a 100 sq ft area was no longer getting water b/c when they "fixed" things the last time they kinked an irrigation line.
I hired an irrigation company to come take a look. This is their feedback:
* the kink was easy to fix
* there are too many drip nozzles for the area (by a large margin)
* for example, there are drip tubes all over the bed even in places that never had a plant
* some of the plants require more or less water depending on the location and type of plant - but they used the same 2gpm drips on every single plant from trees to tiny herbs - so some very small ones are dying due to overwater, and some big ones are struggling due to underwater
* some of the plants were stuck in ledge with no soil - of course they will die - no one told us nor did anyone ask if we should put them in a different place or bring in more soil
* one entire planting bed is at the bottom of a hill with grass and other beds with irrigation - all irrigation runoff ends up in the same planting bed, and that bed was put over hard-packed clay which is over ledge - there is zero drainage for plants, if you pull out a dead plant there is a hole filled with water that never drains - this area should have had crushed stone underneath with planting soil on top to let the bed drain
We're going to do some of this ourselves and hire another company to fix the rest. The owner did offer to replace the plants "even though it's not their fault". He continues to act like he's not responsible just because he wasn't aware from the beginning - almost like "you never told me, it's too late now!".
Now this last thing is just a nit but reflective of their customer service - we had mulch blown in the spring. They missed 3 spots. We called and they said someone would come out to fix. We reminded them twice via text. We reminded them when they were here to look at the irrigation and they said "I put in a ticket, no idea why they never came" and did nothing else about it. So going into October we still have bare spots with no mulch! -
Groundhog reset our flagstone patio in 2024 for a lot of money - $12,000 - and did not properly treat the grout. Consequently much of the grout has washed out and there are lose stones. We have tried to contact them, four times last year, they promised to come and repair their work and nothing was ever done.

I had a very positive experience with Groundhog as they transferred a slope in my yard into a site for a shed. Every aspect of the project was fantastic. When Todd came to survey the work and create the proposal, he was patient and thorough with answering my questions (even during my multiple follow up emails). Amanda was extremely responsive and very accommodating with communications and scheduling. The onsite team members were professional, hardworking, and always willing to listen. Evan was just the best. He listened to me to be sure the pad was created in just the right spot at the correct angle. He answered all my questions and always checked in to make sure he and I were on the same page. The "other Evin" was a hard worker, always with a shovel or rake or something in his hand and keeping things moving along quickly. I was very impressed on the second day when I was around back trimming some of the small shrub brush away from the area and Parker came and offered to move the limbs back into the forest. He wasn't asked - he simply came over and started helping. And as an old HR guy I must say I loved his response to my thanking him... not "no problem" but, rather, "It was my pleasure to help." All in all, I appreciated the people, the process, and the final outcome. A lot of times people are quick to write and voice their issues with things. I wanted to write and say how satisfied I am. Thank you, Groundhog!

Over the years, I’ve used this landscaping company for different services. They did my pool area and the work was excellent—though not inexpensive. I later hired them for lawn mowing, but they complained about the dog waste in my yard, which was frustrating.
Recently, I reached out three times to see if they could handle a spring cleanup. After finally getting through on the third call, I was told they were already done with spring cleanups for the season. I was disappointed that they never returned my earlier calls to let me know.
While I still use their turf program, I will not be using their landscaping services again. -
We had an overall negative experience with Groundhog landscaping.
The positives: they were quick to come out and gave us a good quote for the installation of some granite steps on our back patio. The steps were exactly what we were looking for.
The negatives:
(1) communication was abysmal. We completely understood that we would need to be flexible around the weather and holiday season, but once the initial deposit was made we felt like we were having to chase them down for updates on the project schedule. They would tell me that they’d be by next week weather permitting, and a storm would hit and I’d end up calling them days later (past their originally scheduled slot) for an update. Even then, I was told that someone else had the schedule and they couldn’t give me a definitive answer. We needed them to come back and fix an issue with the steps and we didn’t hear from them for weeks until they realized we still owed them money.
(2) a large, 3’x3’ slab of granite was mistakenly dropped on our concrete patio by installers, causing a significant impact and visible damage (hopefully only cosmetic, but we’ll see what the winter brings). We were only given an apology (after reaching out to them to make them aware of the incident) and were not offered any compensation or guarantee that they would repair further deterioration of our patio. Granted we didn’t ask, but I feel like a reputable company would take more responsibility for damage they cause
(3) after the steps were finally installed, the top step was found to be unstable/ rocking back and forth and needed to be fixed. It took nearly a month for them to come out and install a simple shim
Ultimately, I will not be using Groundhogs services in the future and would not recommend them -
I can’t say enough great things about Groundhog Landscaping and Groundhog Turf Care! Our yard was nothing but an eyesore with bare dirt and patchy spots. Todd, Scott, Nick and the entire team were professional and truly listened to what we wanted. They turned this into a lush, beautiful lawn that looks like it came out of a magazine.
They brought in 18 truckloads of high quality loam and fill leveling our property making the entire yard easier to use and enjoy. They also installed an irrigation system which has made the world of difference and extremely easy to control.
Nick and Mike at the Turf Care division did an amazing job taking care of the lawn preparing it for our daughter’s wedding. We can’t tell you how many compliments we received about how green and beautiful it is.
Groundhog also ran with our vision and created a stone patio which is now the perfect extension of our home and the ideal spot for relaxing and entertaining.
If you’re considering a landscaping company, do yourself a favor and call Groundhog Landscaping. Their expertise and dedication will leave you with a yard you’ll be proud to show off. Five stars all the way! -
The customer technician (Matthew O.) was absolutely fantastic. He went over all the details to make may lawn top notch. The service was very precise and worked wonderfully. He saved me a ton of time. I would highly recommend Groundhog lawn service to anyone who cares about their lawn.

We purchased a home last summer with little back yard privacy. Although the property line goes about 20 ft off the deck, there was only 5 ft of elevated grade, which sloped off 5 ft to the neighbors grade. I contacted Shawn in the spring to discuss gaining usable space by adding a retaining wall, extending the yard, and adding privacy. I reached out to Shawn because his company does the property maintenance for the HOA development I live in. My impression was that he did great work in all seasons. When Shawn came to review the project and estimate, he was very friendly. What stood out most was that he listened to me, and understood what it was that I really wanted. He took that information and reviewed the project. He then shared his vision with me and asked for my opinion. This is what I liked best about Shawn throughout the project. He always asked me what I thought, and was always accommodating of my opinion. Once we came up with a collaborative game plan, he gave me his estimate and expected job start date. I thought that was pretty cool to have all that information on our initial visit. I called around to some family and friends, and all agreed that the price and work that Shawn agreed to do was more than fair. As far as the actual project went. Shawn and his team were all friendly and professional. Shawn himself was the lead on the entire project and was a true professional. He was clearly very experienced, took a lot of pride in his work, and aimed to please throughout. Shawn consistently asked for my opinion and feedback and was willing to make changes when requested. Something else that stood out to me was that throughout the project, he looked for ways to make it even better where he could. Ultimately the project ended with our expectations and minds blown away. I was left speechless and didn't know how to thank Shawn enough. The final result was so much more than we anticipated. We ended up with the backyard of our dreams and the envy of all our neighbors. At one point a neighbor even asked for Shawn's company card because they were so impressed. I would like to highly recommend this company to anyone. Shawn and his team are friendly, professional, and take pride in what they do. Thank you Shawn, Zach, Chris, and Tommy for all your hard work! I cannot thank Blue Sky Landscaping LLC enough and wish you all the best!

I moved into a new house in the beginning of November. The yard needed clean up and the front landing had no cover against the weather and the steps were loose. The guys came out to give me a quote, and with the incredible job they did on the lawn, having them do the landing was a no brainier. Within 4 days, I accepted the quote and the landing, with a roof, was done. I've already started planning projects for 2024 and won't hesitate to call them again!

Fantastic work from Shawn and Zach! I'm selling my house soon and wanted to do some landscaping cleanup, mulching and several other things to get it ready for pictures. Shawn and Zach were out yesterday and worked extremely hard getting everything set up. They went above and beyond with the cleanup and added a stone walkway with steppers, added in plants and flowers with significant mulching. They did and amazing job, thanks Blue Sky Landscaping!

I live in a condominium complex and do not have any choice as to who does our landscaping. They came around to trim shrubs and skipped the lilac in my yard. I asked management to have them come back and in typical fashion got no response. I trimmed it myself and told management I had. Blue Sky came and absolutely decimated what had been a beautiful lilac, cutting the middle out of it and cutting full branches down. It looks horrible now. Don’t hire them if you have the opportunity.

I recently moved to Deerfield and hired Blue Sky Landscaping to transform an overgrown area of my backyard. Sean went above and beyond, completely exceeding my expectations. The attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work were outstanding. My yard looks incredible, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!
