The staff is very helpful. This garden center is one of the best ones around. Lot of plants especially in the spring. Well maintained and plants look taken care of and healthy.

Pretty good collection of plants, garden and patio items. Friendly staff too. Prices tend to be slightly higher than other options but you'll find multiple brand options

I'd tried all the other Home Depots within driving range of Los Altos and really didn't expect anything different here. But I was wrong. Interacted with three different employees in the course of two purchases and all three were both pleasant and helpful. This was on a Monday night. They refill or exchange propane tanks in the garden department too. Those three employees earned my next HD visit.

I am here a few times a month mainly because it is close and they usually have what I need in stock. Don't go in looking for help though (the garden section is an exception). It almost seems like the staff actively avoids customers and the store is always in disarray. The parking lot is also a mess. it doesn't seem like anyone gathers carts during the day. This store seems to have a higher than average ratio of contractors over DIYers.

It would have been fewer stars, but for an amazingly helpful employee. I went for weed barrier fabric. The website said they had 13. There were none! I asked about it, and the worker looked everywhere. Got those special stairs to look through boxes at the top levels of their shelving even. Nothing.
So, it would have been 1 or 2 stars for the website being so wrong (I mean, off by a few is understandable, but off by 13?!) and driving there for nothing. But the guy was so kind and tried so hard, so that adds a few stars.

There is a good customer rep named Luis Chen. Very helpful and straightforward. Hard to find people like him nowadays. Keep up the good work and hopefully you'll become the manager one day

Was looking for some plants... HD has a surprisingly nice selection of plants, flowers and gardening needs.

Not too much different than other nursery but definitely more variety.

Love shopping there always have what I need

Cant find items because the shelves are not stocked. I have seen some people working there put warm milk back on the shelves and they push you to use the self checkout and only have 2 checkouts open with people who won't bag your stuff, they make you do it.
