I ran into three Greenskeepers employees at a supply store. They had no idea who I was, but I noted how professional and courteous they were to everyone in the store. So much so, I thought I would let everyone know about it on this google review! These are the kind of workers I want at my home and business! Keep up the professionalism gentlemen!

I just had Greenkeepers landscape the front of my commercial/residential property at 309 South Broadway in beautiful downtown Medina. Take a drive by and check it out! It looks incredible, and the price was amazing! Give them a try, you'll be happy you did!

I live in an apartment complex as a stay at home mom in Medina. These men come out about once or twice a week, super early, talk for what seems an hour before getting to work. When they actually do cut our grass, they take what seems a super long time (but what do I know), and destroy decorations that may be in their way. (I have those driveway lights, and they're all broken from being knocked over numerous times). Not to mention, they use the enormous lawn mowers for little areas of grass, when they really should be using push mowers. We pay extra for lawn care here, yet I am always pissed when they leave. And when they did our mulch, ha! What a mess.
    Disrespectful, lazy, inconsiderate, and messy.
If I could give them 0 stars, I would in a heartbeat.

This is the damage to the house as the result of "greenskeepers", caused by careless use of the string trimmers. There has been no attempt to repair the damage, which has remained for eighteen months. They did, however, repair the dented down spouts and dented more since the last repair.

No stars is appropriate, as the work is substandard. Clean up is non-existent. If the only goal is to cut grass, even this is poor at best. A gang of middle schoolers working for pocket money could do a better job. Very unprofessional. Neighbors have had siding damage, broken window and lines cut to outside air conditioner compressor.

5-28. Update. Since initial review, problems explained below have been addressed. Crew now appears to pick up larger branches versus moving around them and seems to mover a little slower so spots aren’t being missed. However, I’m not pleased that I found out from a neighbor you were trying to “Find out who I was.”
There are at least 7 other homeowners here who feel your services are lacking and who wouldn’t agree with the 3-star update. But I have to be fair. You did address the concern and thank you. I realize the effect a review can have. But had your crew been doing the job correctly the first time, or you inspected their work, the review wouldn’t have been necessary.

Worst landscaping co ever! If you want to see how bad, just drive by Meadowland off of Laurel road. Our Assoc pays over $1,200 a month and the grass looks awful. Weed control put down too early, all washed out, dandelions and crab grass everywhere. They don’t pick up branches, rather leave them & cut AROUND them leaving grass to never get cut. They never cut the grass short enough and 3 days later it looks like it hasn’t even been touched. The guys zoom around so fast on their mowers that 1/2 the time spots are missed when cutting the grass! Seriously, spend your $$ elsewhere.
However, our Assoc does utilize them for their snow removal service and I have to say that they are above average on that. 1-Star for grass cutting, 4-for snow

To your reply to this post: Agreed there was some standing water..in the back around the Maple tree. However, the fallen branches were back along the fence line. DRY......they cut around the fallen branches by the apple tree. Mow WAY TOO FAST! Front yards were dry. Again, GRASS NOT CUT SHORT ENOUGH! As far as the association...the President could care less as people have spoken to her. Clearly she doesn't relay it to you...thus the reason for the review. Next time I'll post pics on the day they can cut and you can judge for yourself if you'd pay for the service performed.

Greenkeepers installed a beautiful stone retaining wall for me. The team of Tom and Willie worked great together! They were professional, informative and a pleasure to be around. The price was very reasonable! This is a great company to work with!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this company is! I needed help with weeding, trimming, and mulching due to being very pregnant! They scheduled me for an estimate and Mike was ON TIME - a novelty for landscapers these days. He told me he'd send the estimate within 2 days, and it came to me within 2 hours at an absolutely fantastic price! I scheduled with them right away, and they fit me into their schedule exactly when they said they would. Not only did they tell me which week they were coming, but I received an e-mail the day before letting me know they were coming the next day. Sure enough, the team was here at 8am the very next day! Again, if you've worked with contractors/landscapers, you know this level of reliability and communication is unheard of, and I couldn't appreciate it more! I've already "broken up" with my old landscapers, and plan to use Greenkeepers going forward! Highly recommend!!

After calling several people about installing patio blocks and was always told the job was to small or nobody returned my call. I called Greenskeeper and from the initial phone call to the end of the project I can not express enough on how great they were and how outstanding the project looks. So Thank you all those other people who couldn't take the time to call me back because of you I went to the best place.

They were terrific. Leveled and seeded 350' of mounded earth resulting from hooking up to city water. They also trimmed the bottom 4' of 3 large pine trees and cleaned out the scrub underneath. The crew was on time and experienced. They did a thorough job and left every thing tidy. I am especially impressed with the effort they took to avoid damaging our perennial garden. Greenkeepers will definitely be our go to guys in the future.

I wanted to share my awesome experience I had with The Greenskeepers company located on Lafayette Road (Rt. 42) in Medina. I’m recently widowed and have been struggling with the yard work my husband always did (I didn’t tell him that until later) and I needed some topsoil to complete a project. I stopped there to see what they offered. (I found out later that they offer a multitude of products including topsoil, mulch, stones, straw, etc.) I told them what I needed and said I needed it that day. There was a slight hesitation on his part, but then he dropped what he was doing and brought the topsoil immediately to me and helped me finish my project.

I discovered that the company is family run (I love supporting “mom and pop” companies - the people that run them seem to work harder than most other companies). This company is just that - a very hardworking family. I also found out that the hesitation I sensed was because he was planning an indoor business day due to the excessive heat (over 90 degrees with a heat advisory). But instead, this young man dropped everything out of the kindness of his heart to help me. He went above and beyond what I would consider his job. What a refreshing attitude to see in this day and age. When I need mulch, topsoil, stones, straw, etc., I know where I’ll be going! They will be getting repeat business from me!!

Meers landscaping has the contract for my Condo home owners association, they have not mowed my back yard area once all summer and I have over a foot of grass growing. I have contacted the management company who states they have notified the company each week with no resolve. In the winter the snow removal by this company is even worse. They never plow the roads or driveways as they are contracted to do. This company is so poor!!! I would never choose this company for service they are horrible!!!!

I observed Number #1 Landscaping volcano mulching trees yesterday at the Bob Evans Restauranr in Middleburg Heights. It was obvious that the crew had not been properly trained & were using way more mulch than was needed or was good for the trees.

Stopped in to request a quote for snow plowing. Very friendly staff.

The folks here don't seem to have a clue about communicating with their clients. I have repeatedly tried contacting them about letting me know if/when they have applied fertilizer. I will not use again or recommend this company. Communication is a basic skill.

A1 landscaping has done our homeowners association landscape maintenance for over 5 years . I am very pleased with the services provided and the professional way they are completed.
    I highly recommend this company.

The heart of the operation (tom and jim) are some of the most generous people I've met. Very organized and professional across the board but still bring a friendly approach. Highly recommended for whatever your landscaping need!👍

Total disaster. The "crew" was two guys with shovels who didn't speak English. They spent a week in my driveway looking at their phones. Job isn't done, but of course they say it is -- I specifically requested caps on my retaining wall and now they're inventing excuses for why they're not doing it. Extremely inadequate estimate and scope of work provided. Have to finish it myself.
