Over the years Home Depot garden centers have come to offer more and varied species of plants - which is great! I almost always find what I'm looking for. And I love their new selection of California natives. However, the garden associates seem to know very little about plant care or even about the characteristics of each plant. Additionally, at least four times I've found plants to be mislabeled. I once found an entire section of Sedum Stonecrop labeled as Japanese Sedge. Flat after flat was mislabeled. I told the woman at the front desk about the incorrect information but upon returning to Home Depot two days later, the error had not been corrected. While their plant selection is nice and their prices are competitive, I think this Home Depot garden center could do a better job of providing more accurate plant information to their customers.

I would have to agree with the recent reviews here regarding customer service. They have really stepped up their game! Lots of greetings and smiles, many employees asking you if you found what you need, and extra help is always offered in the garden area and with getting things loaded into your car.

Keep up the great work!

Almost forgot! We go there on "Black Friday" every year for their early morning sale. LOTS of employees on hand, fully awake and smiling, and even offering donuts for those standing in line outside. They have taken the time to organize the sale items in such a way as to make things easy to find and keep customer traffic moving through the store. Kudos!
