**Zero Star Review for All My Sons Moving Company**

I recently hired All My Sons Moving Company for what should have been a straightforward move, but it quickly turned into a complete nightmare. From the start, the movers showed up late, which set a frustrating tone for the entire day. One of the movers claimed to have fallen on the job prior and could do nothing but carry pillows, while the other attempted to tackle all the upstairs furniture alone, resulting in damage to nearly every wall on the way down the stairs.

To make matters worse, it seemed like every piece of my furniture was damaged during the process. When they finally arrived at my new home, they continued to cause damage to the walls. I had to intervene and demand that they unload my belongings so I could finish the move myself, as I couldn’t bear the thought of them destroying my new house.

I reached out to All My Sons while the move was happening to express my concerns, only to be told that I would need to file a claim once the move was completed. I submitted my claim immediately with all the necessary photos and the repair bill from my old house. Their response? A measly offer of $200 for all the stress and damage they caused.

This has been by far the worst moving experience I've ever had. I would strongly advise anyone considering using All My Sons to think twice. I only gave them one star because there wasn’t an option for zero. Avoid this company at all costs!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

I called All My Sons back in March of 2024 to get a quote on moving my stuff out of a one bedroom apartment. They told me it would be $139/hr for two men and that travel time would be included in that price (my stuff was being driven an hour away so two hours of driving total). He also said that there is a 10% fuel tax that is required. I thought that was fine and moved forward. I told him what furniture we had that needed to be moved, told him we lived on the second floor AND had a piano that needed to be moved and he said “No problem we can move the piano!”

Fast forward to the day of my move the guys showed up on time, but I immediately knew that they had very little experience based on the way that they were moving things. They made me sign a bunch of stuff and then got to moving. I would go down periodically to take stuff down to my car and make sure everything was okay. When I started going down the stairs one of the movers had my boxes on a dolly just banging it down the stairs with no care whatsoever and then all of the stuff on the dolly fell off onto the ground included my bed side table which suffered damage because of it. I started to feel nervous and started paying more attention to the way they were handling things.

I go down after about 2 hours of them being there (it should’ve been done by now) and one guy literally left and got in the car with I assume his girlfriend??? I called the manager Jared and told him that we were paying by the hour and this is unacceptable. At this point I knew they were just taking their time and didn’t really care at all.

The best part is the piano. These guys had NEVER moved a piano before- much less down a flight of stairs. My brother had to help them carry it down the stairs and it got super banged up and scratched. The manager told us that they could move pianos- obviously they couldn’t.

They finally leave and go to the next destination and it takes them over two hours to get there (again it’s an hour drive).

Also, Jared said that they would put blankets and padding to make sure things were getting scratched. They didn’t use ONE blanket. Before they could unload the truck, we had to pay them for the quote they came up with which included TONS of fees that were never disclosed to us until AFTER they had our stuff and they wouldn’t let us get our stuff unless we paid. We wanted to talk to the manager before we signed off and they said no and I tried calling and couldn’t get a response from him. The quote was over TWO THOUSAND dollars for a one bedroom move that should’ve only take a couple hours!!! They charged us $250 for “packing materials”, but they just used two boxes (charged $15 a box) and some paper (they charge $3.50 PER PIECE OF PAPER). $250???? If we hadn’t wrapped everything ourselves before the movers got there NOTHING would have been protected.

One they started unloading things there were at least 4 pieces of furniture that had scrapes or had handles broken, etc.

There is no incentive for the workers to do a good job because they are probably underpaid and undertrained. Me and my brother could have move this stuff quicker and better than these “professional” movers.

This company needs to go out of business and stop scamming people!! People work hard for their money and things and to be treated this way is just wrong.

Theolois, Jachius, and Jairus made our complicated move from Baton Rouge to the suburbs of New Orleans less stressful. They were courteous, efficient, pleasant to work with, and provided exceptional customer service. We had multi stories at our origin and destination location and they problem solved to get all of our furniture and belongings where they needed to be and without breaking anything. I would recommend this specific team of movers. Even though their management and field office left much to be desired in terms of lack of communication about switching our move time, this team of movers made everything easier and helped to quell our frustrations with how great of a team they were. It was a situation that was beyond these three’s control, so I do not fault them at all. I would hire this trio, specifically, again.

They also took their care and time to package some of our more fragile and delicate items to ensure their safe transport at our point of origin, which was greatly appreciated. They clearly worked as a well oiled team.

I didn’t know moving could be so easy. Isaac and his partner were absolutely fabulous. I can’t recommend them enough for your move. They were very professional, did a tremendous job, and packed everything for us very efficiently. I highly recommend this team for all moves in the Dallas area.

The guys that came to move me to my new house were extremely professional, friendly and respectful. They worked hard and non-stop without any breaks and followed my directions every step of the way. I will definitely recommend your company in the future to anyone that needs your services.

Called, made an appt, all of that was fine, charge by the hour all the info. Come moving day, they rushed us so much and said they had to leave so im not even sure what the charge by the hour rate was because theyll leave and so hwre we are days later moving things ourselves because they has other appts to be at??? So apparently they book people over your spot??? It was really weird and just awful experience.

I recently booked an online reservation for moving services and was promptly contacted for a follow-up discussion about my relocation needs. During this conversation, I provided details about my current residence, a four-bedroom house, and specified that I only had furniture in three of the rooms. The representative quoted me a price and assured me that the final cost would not exceed this initial estimate.

However, on the day of the move, the team arrived with notes indicating that I was moving out of a one-bedroom home to a one-bedroom apartment, which was incorrect. This discrepancy was quite concerning. Additionally, I received a call later on that day regarding various charges that had not been communicated during our initial conversation.

I recommend that anyone considering this company ensure that they receive their quote in writing to avoid any misunderstandings. Unfortunately, the final cost of the move was significantly higher than what I had budgeted, and I will not be utilizing this company for future services due to the unexpected fees.

On a positive note, I would like to commend the professionalism and performance of the moving team, specifically Dorin and Trey, who handled my belongings with care and did an excellent job

These 4 guys treated my antiques and grand piano like they belonged to their own family member! I was worried, because it’s what I do, but they made me feel like I was in good hands. I can’t stress enough that they are the best to move, 100 miles, like in my case, or across country! Everything is wrapped and padded and taped!

I never write reviews but I have to do it today the moving Company is very unprofessional. I saw it had a lot of bad reviews, but I thought my experience would be different. I wouldn’t let these people move my dog house. It’s ridiculous very unprofessional and no teamwork like they just get some guys off the street to come and help. it took them 30 minutes to take down the bed. It took them four hours to move one bedroom set and one sofa. I was quoted 387 at the end of the four hour move. I was charged $1000. I don’t suggest u use this company

I could not have been more pleased nor impressed. The crew that came to help me load a moving van was extremely professional and courteous. They took very good care of everything they touched. They worked with a sense of urgency, no down time. They communicated with me to make sure what I wanted done and they did it. Each person had a very positive and friendly attitude. By far the best moving crew I have seen.

Communication with the office was the same, professional and courteous. They were readily available, I could reach someone immediately for my many questions. Very easy to work with.

I wholeheartedly recommend this company. They will always be my go-to source for moving help.

This was a great moving experience with this company! I had Reginald, Mansur, and Amarion as my movers. If I could give these 3 guys more than 5 stars I would. They were courteous, professional, and very hard workers. I enjoyed working with them.

Mark, Dwon, Lenard & Charles were so great during my move from Louisiana to Florida. They were so professional and quick. I had to be out by a certain time for a flight and they made it happen! Mark took lead and set the tone for the day so there was no messing around. Dwon was professional and made sure to check with me before moving anything questionable. Lenard and Charles wrapped and moved the big stuff in and out so carefully. I trusted them with all my belongings and knew they would handle it with care and they did. They got to my new location early and even unpacked faster than planned. Nothing broken, nothing missing, nothing damaged! I hope I never have to move again but if I do, I’m going to call/request them! 10/10 would use them again!

The entire moving process was horrible. The original movers we booked canceled last minute, so we ended up with two guys coming from Hammond. But when they arrived, only one of them was actually working. The other was hanging around in the truck, smoking a cigarette and sliding down the ramp like it was a joke.

We were being charged by the hour for three movers, but only two showed up—and only one was doing any work. Meanwhile, the rest of us—me and my roommates—were left carrying our things in the rain just to get the job done.

To make things worse, the movers refused to unload our belongings at our new house that same day. They said everything would stay on the truck and be delivered the next morning. When we tried calling the company to get answers, they kept hanging up on us and eventually started screening our calls. We had to sleep in the new place with absolutely no furniture.

We were told the entire move would be free because of how bad everything had gone—the damage to our stuff, the fact that we had to do the heavy lifting ourselves. But the next day, the story changed. Suddenly, only the second day was going to be free. In the end, all three of us still paid $377 each.

When the movers came back the next morning, things only got worse. One of the men made sexually explicit comments and sexually assaulted my friend. We reported it to the company immediately, and they claimed he would be fired on the spot. But when I followed up later, I was met with nothing but deflection, excuses, and vague answers.

That second day, they also tried to get me to sign paperwork stating a walkthrough had been completed—before even showing me anything. When I asked for the walkthrough, I found my dresser had been left standing upright in a completely unsafe position. If I hadn’t insisted on seeing things for myself, it would’ve stayed like that.

I had to beg the movers to carry boxes from the carport to their designated spots upstairs. They left us with a ton of stuff still sitting around to move ourselves. On top of all that, multiple pieces of our furniture came back broken, scratched, or otherwise damaged.

This was one of the most stressful and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. DO NOT book with this moving company under any circumstances.

All my sons is possibly the worst moving company I have ever worked with. College students and parents BEWARE of their services. We needed a single sofa and 4 chairs moved, I was quoted $149/hour for two movers, supplies for the move and travel time- and then a discounted price you’ll see below.

Once our furniture was picked up from the store and made its way to our home the sofa was unwrapped and stained on the arm and back as well as nails ripped out of the arm causing permanent damage to this BRAND NEW sofa which wasn’t there at time of its purchase. During the move in process they also gouged our cypress door and frame. When time came to pay we were told for our two hour move it would be over $500 dollars- we were being charged an additional $70 for some plastic wrap on one sofa and a separate charge for travel and Gas which we were not told at the time of booking. I would never recommend this moving company to my worst enemy, we tried speaking with multiple people regarding these issues but were basically told “it is what it is”. Please consider using ABBA movers, two men and a truck or literally ANYONE else. Those companies weren’t available or else I would have gone with them at the time of this move. Please fine the original quote below as well as damage. If there was an option for zero stars I would do that.

II have to emphasize how outstanding Joshua and Ammonite were in handling the moving process for my U-Haul. They approached everything with such care and professionalism 😊. If you need help with your move, I highly recommend their services!

Super excellent work completed today. Theolois and Jairus, are exemplary workers, went above helping with our move. The Job was not an easy one, but they pushed through like super troopers. Excellent representation for All My Sons!!! Will definitely try to request this team for future jobs!
