This is not a knock on the 2 particular guys that assisted me, but I went in with a dual "run" capacitor that had gone out on my a/c compressor unit and showed the young guy at the counter and stated "I need this capacitor" size and asked him if he could tell me which one on the shelf was the one I needed. Needless to say, he didn't have a clue about capacitors, so I asked him "is there anyone here that can tell me which one I need?" He then goes in tge back, and brings out another man (I believe was the manager", and he knew about 5% more than the other guy. It may be just me, but if I go into an electrical supply store I would like to think there's atleast 1 individual that works there that KNOWS about the electrical products he's selling.

Ellitott supply recently opened a branch in Gonzales, La on HWY 30. Needless to say, it was my first and last experience.
I contacted a salesman at the Gonzales branch about ordering some wire. He informed me they didn't have any in stock at that location, but the Baton Rouge branch had plenty. I placed my order about 1 PM. and was told it should be ready around 3:30PM in BR. I show up at the BR branch, tell the sells associate I was there for an order I placed with the Gonzales branch. He informs me they were never notified of the order, but could have it for me in about 40 minutes or so (No big deal). I patiently waited about 40 min only for the sells associate to come and tell me their inventory was off and didn't have what I needed in stock.
I experienced poor communication, incompetency with inventory, and poor customer service. It was a complete waste of my time.
