We are very happy that we hired 504 to replace our 26-year-old roof with a Fortified roof. They were recommended by several people in a neighborhood FB group, and we saw that they are on the state list of approved Fortify Homes contractors. We got bids from three different contractors; all were about the same price, but 504 was the most responsive and did a more thorough inside-and-out examination before bidding. 504 took care of all permitting and inspection paperwork. The work on our multipart roof was begun on our timetable and completed in 3.5 days. The crew was friendly and efficient; they cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and were mindful of the landscaping. Again, very satisfied and would recommend.

This company doesn't believe in giving notices to residents of neighborhoods before they tear up their Street. If your car is in the way they either go around it or tow it.

Reckless truck drivers on the road.
Had a dump truck from this company tailgating the back of my vehicle and I was just driving the normal speed on the road.
The driver started honking at me as if I was in the wrong. The truck was too close to my vehicle. Like what would happen if I were to brake my truck. He would hit up my truck which will be bad news for the company.

Definitely reckless drivers. My house has been shaking every day. They are slamming parts of the broken street down. My house is elevated and given the soil conditions, ongoing construction that continues to shake my structure is damaging it and I have very detailed pictures. I don’t really understand the rhyme or reason why the city of New Orleans just had a contractor a couple months ago dig up the exact same areas on my street. It appears the contractors don’t talk to each other. The city doesn’t keep tabs on who is doing what or even monitoring when the work is complete. There is no reason the same sections do the street are being dug up again. I’d advise that people take a lot of pictures of their home. Document the differential prior to their work like I did and show there has been movement after. Document any cracks and you have a potential lawsuit on your hands.

Terrible company did not secure work site and allowed workers to steal off job site. No supervision to monitor workers. Was contracted to replace a roof after fire. More damage to site after they finished. Hired random subcontractors. Lied about work completed. Did not follow up at job site.Was recommended by Williams Architect. Would not discuss work being done. I had an terrible experience working with this company. When I did bring problems or concerns regarding work being done was disregarded. More concern with cutting corners than doing quality work. Did not frame an apartment that was burned out in a fire. Built a roof on top of it. When asked claimed the architect approved. Workers stated they would “shoot up the spot”. Real traumatic experience after an fire.

The team at Southern Construction worked day and night, literally... and weekends to get my buildout done on time. This was my first endeavor of any type dealing with contractors. Everyone said to watch out and keep an eye on your contractor. By the end of the process, the team at Southern Construction felt like family. There were a lot of unknowns for me in this process, and they led me step by step. They will definitely be doing my next buildout!

they repaired my house and built my new business building very good quality the office team and team of workers very professional and friendly.

After experiencing the worst contractor for our exterior building, I hired Southwork and had the best experience with the interior work. I wish I would have contacted them in the beginning. Not only was their work excellent they completed it in less than a month. Don't look any further hire these guys!!
My building was destroyed by Ida in August.
