Reviews of local pros in Luling, Louisiana

I always love to shop local.
They are amazing here !

Martin’s helped us redesign our landscaping when we purchased our home and then added new plants to our backyard. They have a great selection of plants and perform maintenance/tree trimming once or twice a year for us…we are always happy with their work!

Did what we agreed. Could have been more careful around the flowers, as many were killed in the process.

The customer focus was poor. Only one person and no support provided to us. Another couple left soon after they arrived. No the Martins we remember
Thanks to Martins for their response and offer. The offer is not necessary. We were at Martins today and Regina was there. Great service and well done.

Was always a nice place for plants. However, I purchased pine needle mulch and was very disappointed. The pine needles were so old. They look worse than the old mulch that I had in the flower beds. I called to complain. They were supposed to have the manager call me. It is almost 4 weeks and no one has called me. I will never purchase mulch from them again.

We have made use of Martin's services a number of times and always been well satisfied with the results. We took advantage of their freeze protection service for the recent weather emergency. Their response, efforts, results, and customer service were exemplary. They are extremely responsive in answering questions and providing advice. They are and will be our "go to" for any gardening and landscaping projects or needs.

Martin's showed up on time and did an excellent job of trimming our overgrown hedges. Would definitely recommend them

The installation of sod was done in a timely manner and sod looks great, a little dry at installation before daily watering. I had one concern about the preparation of the ground prior to giving the go ahead for the project. The old lawn had a large amount of dollar weed. I had asked how that would be taken care of so that the new sod would not be overtaken by dollar weed. I was told that the sod cutter would take care of most of the dollar weed and any that was still present after that prep would be sprayed to prevent the dollar weed from returning. I did not see any evidence of spraying and there is still dollar weed mostly along the perimeter of the sod in the back yard. I hope that this can be corrected.

Marin's has fabulous inventory and very friendly and knowledgeable personnel. They go beyond every day service.

Friendly, helpful, has offered advice and tips for plant care. Highly Recommended for personal landscaping and plant/tree needs.

These guys did a great job, they were professional, on time, experienced and they got the job done beyond expectations! Truly great service!
Ty!

Great job Martin’s !
Delivered on time and on budget
Replaced sod and landscaping
Very pleased 🎉🎉

I had my entire yard stripped and new sod laid. They did excellent work. Very hard working and cleaned up each day. I am very pleased with their work. Highly recommend.

The olive and maple trees we bought look great! The team at Martin’s was super friendly and accommodating!

Overall good experience. I had dirt and sod added to a section of my yard. They worked quick and did what I wanted for the most part. Price was great also. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because we had a small issue. They didn’t complete the job and I had to reach out to them to find out what was going on. When they came back the next day they still left a small strip without sod. I was told they would be back to finish and 3 days later they never showed and never got a response from multiple emails. I just completed that section myself. I wish the communication would have been better. I will use again though.

I was looking for a specific tree and no one in the area had it. Martin’s was able to order it for me and I got it within the week. It was perfect. Nice knowledgeable people. I highly recommend them.

Our church contacted MartinsNursery and Landscape to have 2 trees taken down. I talked to Bret Hart who gave us a bid which we accepted. Bret and the team did an excellent job taking down the 2 trees agreed upon. There special lifts fit into our small area enabling them to complete the job that others would not touch. I highly recommend them for tree removal!

They cut 8 trees down in my yard. Great crew and very professional and worked very hard. They even blew all the trash off of my roof. Very reasonable price. We were very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

From concept to creation, I’m pleased with Martin’s. Malia’s design was tasteful and professionally executed. I would recommend and hire again.

Great company! The owner, Darrin is very informative, very helpful. Dot was very knowledgeable from purchasing to planting and eager to assist with all my needs. The men who came out to install my oleanders (68 in total) worked harmoniously together and got the job done to perfection. I would highly recommend this company and team to anyone looking to spruce up your gardening needs. On a scale from 1-10, they rate a 12! I can not express my appreciation enough!

Thank you to Martin’s Nursery for the tree trimming and landscaping. The crew were very professional and did an awesome job!
