I bought a house they did the electrical for. Not one switch was grounded and one of their workers argued knob and tube was just fine when I was speaking with her at an electrical supply house. I iust pulled a fixture off the wall in the bathroom and they had mounted the box with a plumbing pipe running straight through the middle of it.

Jon put in some lights in our Minneapolis bungalow that really brightened up some spaces that needed it, an upstairs hallway. Helpful and straightforward. Knowledgeable, friendly.

Jon made our first home safe and livable. We bought an older home in Edina, MN which needed lots of TLC. Some items needed immediate attention and one was the electric. Jon meticulously tested every outlet and found that most needed work (previous owners were DIYers and DIYed without code knowledge or electrical knowledge). Additionally, our garage was powered by an extension chord that was connected to an ungrounded outlet, and that also needed to be addressed. It was a big job! Jon project managed and dug the trench (on one of the hottest days of that summer), installed proper wiring and made the garage functional and SAFE. Passed inspection with flying colors.
I would recommend his high quality of work, diligence and personable nature to anyone looking for a qualified electrical professional.

Fantastical Electric is fantastic - they were prompt in their reply, highly communicative, and did a great job. I had a couple small things (light switch replacement) and a couple larger projects (light fixture install, wired smoke detector troubleshooting), and they were able to take care of all of them.
