I have now used Benton 3 times since 2022. Yesterday they used their new lift equipment to come through a 3’ gate into a very tight working area and then cut the dead limbs and lift the lower canopy of a water oak over my house and patio. Every employee was safety and customer oriented. They did a very good job at clean up during and after the job. They also spread the ground up mulch in areas of my yard at my request. I would recommend Tim Benton and his Krewe to anyone for any size job.

Mr. Benton is a true professional, he was asked to provide insights into the health of a tree and offer solutions to our problem - he took the time to walk the property with me and highlight issues. He demonstrated a genuine passion for arboriculture and customer care. Despite my offer, he declined payment for his opinion.

He provided a bid for the job that was clear, detailed, and fair with explanation. There was no pressure, just transparent pricing.

Benton Tree Service is what great service is all about. I have eight 40’ tall Eagleston Holly’s that were overgrown and had not been cut back or shaped in probably seven or eight years. They were hanging over all of my neighbors yards, scraping their houses and causing issues for everyone.
Now they are trimmed and perfectly shaped so that they look like they should be in a picture of a French Chateau.
These guys were prompt, courteous, and professional, all at a great price.
And as a little bonus, they even used the ground up wood to put in my garden as mulch.

Can't say enough to share our experience with Tim Benton and his company. They have provided a great service to us over the past few years. Always for a fair price.

Benton Tree Service did great work for us. Tim Benton the owner personally walked the job ahead of time and provided pricing. His pricing was fair and his team was very efficient with completing a well done job. They pulled the necessary permits from the city. The job was complete in a half day and no change orders. I highly recommend.

Tim is a complete professional. He expertly diagnosed the issue with a dying tree and was able to remove it promptly. I absolutely would use them again!

We had 2 80 foot 80 year old oak trees removed. It took a few days but the men worked very had and did a good job of cleaning up the mess and removing the tree debris.

Benton Tree Service is the best! Used them to cut down large oak that had large limbs in my neighbors yard. They some how managed to manage to cut and bring over the limbs without needing access to my neighbors yard. The job was extremely tidy and all debris was removed. They too, cleaned up my very old and tall imperial palm. Excellent service: professional, punctual and great cleanup. FYI - I had 3 quotes, they were the most reasonable & I was able to schedule right away.

Tim is awesome. He got us right - all the guys in the crew were top-notch and easy to communicate with.

We had an overgrown willow tree in our backyard caught in power lines, and they had no issue dealing with it. The crew came with a bucket lift and safely and methodically got it all cut back.

Highly recommend! Tim Benton came over to give our yard a good look to figure out what we needed. He was responsive and flexible, and gave his thoughts on each tree or shrub we asked about. Tim was incredibly knowledgeable and the crew were careful and effective.

Very impressed with Benton Tree Service. Team of 5 removed a 40 ft palm tree that had died in close proximity to two adjacent buildings from a small backyard courtyard in 4-5 hours for a reasonable price. I was awed by the expertise and hard work.

Hurricane Francine left a large limb dangling over my pool like a chandelier, which if dropped into pool would damage its surface or worse. Tim, the owner showed up not long after I called and set his team to work the next day. He described so many aspects of the tree’s health through the color of the bark and showed me how stable the tree is, and the physics behind the branch weight. Marco, Chris and another man arrived the next day and helped cut the branch safely, pulling from the pool area to the deck. They also trimmed the tree's other low hanging branches. They were amazing to watch work as they navigated a quite large pecan tree that I love! They cleaned up after the work and even cleaned the pool surface of a debris. I asked if a neighbor could have some of the pecan wood for barbecuing with, and Chris left a few chunks chopped to manageable size. I am so relieved and thrilled with their assistance. Thanks again Tim, I know this is a busy time for your team and I appreciate all of the care shown!

Great service! Excellent skilled work. Reasonable price. Honest and dependable. Tim Benton himself is especially personable and helpful. He values trees - he helped me save my beautiful but aging water oak, after another company wanted to take it down for a high price. I definitely trust Tim and his great crew.

We had a massive live oak that needed to be removed, and I couldn’t be more impressed with this team. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, they were professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. The crew showed up on time, worked safely and quickly, and left our property spotless—like the tree was never even there. It was a big job, and they handled it with total confidence and care. Highly recommend them for any tree work—these guys are the real deal!

Benton tree service was recommended by a licensed arborist to assess and recommend treatment in a large oak tree in my front yard that had a split in it. Unfortunately, due to the location to split, who is recommended at the tree be removed. I also obtained recommendations and estimates from other tree services and while Benton’s was not the lowest estimate it was within the range of estimates. As I have a good track record, I chose to Have them removed my tree. they arrived at the time and date of their appointment and performed the removal and satisfactory manner and cleaned up very well after themselves. Later the owner of the company came by and planted a new oak tree. Our new tree is two years old and growing rapidly. I’m very happy with their services and recommend them highly.

I own Mighty Haul Dumpster Service in New Orleans and work with a lot of tree guys. All of them are really good, but I’m telling you, Benton Tree Service is easily the best I’ve ever dealt with.

I used them at my own house in Harahan, and I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous. Watching people climb high up in a tree on your property makes you think twice. But I checked them out ahead of time, they were fully insured, great reputation, everything in order. That put me at ease.

Tim was on the job himself, and the whole crew showed up prepared, bucket trucks, safety vests, real equipment. They trimmed the tree, ground the stump, and when they were done, the yard was absolutely spotless. Not a single twig left behind.

Safety was a priority, and the job was clean, fast, and professional from start to finish. These guys don’t play around, they know what they’re doing.

Next time I need tree work, there’s no question, I’m calling Benton Tree Service again.
