I have great experiences here for general shopping, have never placed an order like some of the other reviewers here, so I am unsure of how that would go. If you need a few plants, some tools, a few pieces of wood, etc, this is your place. I usually check out at the garden department, seems the staff is a bit friendlier there. As for paint, I haven't ordered any from this Home Depot, because I've interacted with that guy in the paint department elsewhere, and he is in fact a rude guy who is inconvenienced if you show up at his counter. Otherwise, love the store!

Home Depot has more inventory than Lowe's, so it's a more successful visit traveling there for hardware.

Want to give a Big shout out to CREW 23 from Baton Rouge who came to Metairie to remove a dead large water oak tree on parish property in front of my house. Guys took special care in not damaging sidewalk and front yard. When finished crew made sure to clean up all debris from street and sidewalk. Excellent Job guys !!!!

I recently used them to trim some trees on the side of my house. The manager screwed up and covered my outside compressor to keep debris out — left me without air conditioning because the unit overheated and fried the fuse. And a limb they cut landed on top of my generator and cracked the outer case. Strangely, they deny this even though I have video evidence and they are being disingenuous. The employee and their attorney keep telling me how reputable they are, but they haven’t offered to reimburse me or fix anything that’s broken. And yeah, I’m dealing with their lawyer. Anyhow, I’m obviously not impressed because they operated carelessly. I get no pleasure in writing this, and wish it never happened, but it’s the truth.
