Reviews of local pros in Cape Elizabeth, Maine

We had some replanting of part of our yard last Spring which was done perfectly. No harm to adjacent vegetation, they were very flexible to a
"adjustments" my wife made.
Recently asked for another estimate, he was right on time and most courteous, we had the report in just a couple of days.

Nick and his team have completed multiple projects at our home. Each project has been completed on time, to his quote and the results are fabulous! Best in Cape!

We bought new construction therefore had a "blank slate" with which to work. Nick and his crews did an outstanding job building a rock retaining wall, a patio and a couple of walkways, re-grading and loaming our property, planting gardens and hydro seeding our lawn. The crews specialize so we worked with three different groups. All three crews were friendly, helpful and professional. They arrived on time and worked constantly through the day, each crew completing the job when they said they would. You may be able to find someone cheaper, but you will not find anybody better than Tammaro. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Nick Tammaro and his team have, once again, done a fantastic job for me. When I contracted for work at my property in Cape Elizabeth, I expected that the work would be done thoroughly and professionally. But Nick's team always exceeds my expectations and this time was no different. It is easy to see that the landscapers that Nick hires are thoughtful and caring professionals who won't leave a job until it is done to the highest standards. Well done and many thanks!!!

We had never done a large outdoor project and met with Nick after meeting with another well known landscaping company. Nick walked us through how to handle our retaining wall and offered options to fit in our budget. The project began on schedule and his team was punctual, hard working, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to the absolute highest standards. Communication with Nick was seamless. Look no further for your lawn and landscaping needs. Nick and his team set the bar.

Nick and the entire crew at Tammaro are just the best. I have an annual contract with them. Plowing, shoveling, mowing, spring and fall clean up, edging and mulching of the gardens. The team is always so helpful, friendly, willing to take any suggestions. They get here, they work very hard. I feel like some of them are “family.” Because of this group, I am able to stay in my house rather than a condo.

I would add that Tammato Landscping maintains the private roads in our neighborhood association. Plowing, sanding, mowing the sides of the roads, plows and grades our unpaved fire road, keeping it open for emergency vehicles. They do a great job.

Nick Tammaro and his team have completed multiple special landscaping and hardscaping projects for us...and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Great service & quality workmanship, all at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!!

Thanks to Nick and his wonderful crew, we now have a beautiful petanque court at our home in Cape Elizabeth. Petanque is a French game of boules, somewhat similar to Italian bocce, and is played on a gravel court. Nick was a joy to consult with and was a careful listener and I knew right away he could envision my dream and had the experience to make it a reality. The job started ahead of schedule. The crew assigned to the job was perfect! Jay and Clint were also good listeners and were careful to make certain the project would turn out exactly as I wanted. They brought years of experience to the job and worked like surgeons. The site needed trees removed and considerable excavation and leveling and countless loads of various aggregate. Jay and Clint were punctual and always left the job site orderly and neat. I was very appreciative of the care they took to get their heavy equipment through tight spaces without damaging our landscaping. They were methodical and thorough with every stage of the job, and I never got the impression that they wanted to rush and get on to the next job. Jay and Clint had one goal, which was to make sure the job turned out exactly as I wanted. I will highly recommend Nick Tammaro Landscaping to our friends and neighbors and will use them again for future projects. Thank you!

I’ve always found Tim to be super reliant and his turn around time for being able to get out to your house/business is great. We’ve used him both at my work and at home and the results have always been amazing, highly recommend.

Tim is so great work with. Honest, responsive and does a fabulous job. He has always gone above and beyond for us.
Definitely recommend!

Tim Folland at Dinosaur Heating & Cooling has been our sole heating and cooling specialist for the past seven years. My husband and I own three 125+ year old multi unit buildings in Portland, and there’s always some need for Tim’s expertise. We’ve relied on Tim for projects large and small over the years — from installing heat pumps and new gas boiler systems, to installing gas and electric water heaters and dishwashers, and maintaining our nine different heating systems (heat pumps, oil AND steam!) in our three properties. Tim is experienced, reliable, responsive, very easy to work with, and we totally trust Tim with all of our heating and cooling needs!

We’ve been working with Tim for years both at our business and at home. Tim is prompt and responsive and has helped us navigate everything from large hvac projects to small repairs. He does excellent work and has always completed jobs within his quoted timeframe. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tim to anyone, and we’re looking forward to working with him for years to come!

Six years ago Tim switched the heating in my house from oil to gas. He added two new radiators as well as two new heat pumps to the many already existing radiators. My neighbor, a contractor, recommended him and showed me the work he did at another house. While my realtor had another HVAC professional in mind, whom I never met, I’m glad I chose Tim. He was always on time, very neat with the equipment and pleasant to be around. The two times there have been problems with the system he has responded to me promptly and come over in a timely manner and left with the problem solved.

If you’re looking for someone to install your heat pump HVAC system, Tim is simply the best. He’s been outstanding from day one—always prompt, reliable, and incredibly helpful with the few minor issues we’ve had. His dedication and expertise make him our go-to guy. We won’t go anywhere else. Lifelong customer here!

I texted Tim on a Saturday night regarding my boiler (the burner was off). He responded to my text quickly and explained what the issues could be. With his input, and a change of thermostat batteries, the burner came back on. He also offered to come over and check it out that night or on Sunday. Thank you, Tim, for your responsiveness, your knowledge, and for the peace of mind in knowing that you’re only a phone call or text away!

Very quick to respond to my call, came same day to look it over, prepared an estimate and returned to do the work the following week. Tim and his helper (both licensed to work on natural gas boilers) replaced my old hot water tank, added a mixing valve, a second expansion tank and replaced a few other valves. Excellent work ethic and quality work done.

These guys rock!

Amazing sevice and the guys were great
