Reviews of local pros in Dresden, Maine

Have called for a week now and doesn’t answer their phones or even call back. Unprofessional

Excellent service. They came the next business day after I called. Professional, proficient, polite. My new go-to plumbing company. Thanks guys!

It’s hard to find a plumber for Richmond Maine so I talked to my electrician and recommended Stewart plumbing spoke with Dan about no hot water he immediately went to my property and fixed the problem I never expected such immediate response absolutely amazing and job well done I highly recommend this This man for plumbing and heating to all

Where in the past Dan has been a wonderful plumber, i have recently had none of my phone calls returned. And am a bit put off. Guess he no longer wants my business.too bad i did like him too.

I have always been happy with this company, recently needed a plumber, they were prompt, polite and actually did exactly what I wanted, while here I was telling about my problem with a central air conditioning unit, I had previously had 2 different companies here, the company that installed it, seemed less informed about this system than I knew about it, received a bill and it stated that the system was working fine, NOT!!!!, I knew it was dirty and they just looked at me like I was the one that was nuts, the other company did not work on that kind of a system. Stewart plumbing, cleaned the unit, checked it out and it is functioning like it should...Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I had an emergency plumbing situation and they came promptly, which I appreciated greatly because plumbers are so busy these days. Dan was very polite and very knowledgeable, he diagnosed my plumbing issue and went to fixing it straight away. During his inspection he pointed out another potential problem with the current plumbing in my home and fixed that as well, saved me another headache! A great and trustworthy plumber, my go-to from now on!

I have worked with Danny several times over the past few years. All work has been done in a very reasonable time. So far I everything has worked well. Danny has always responded to my calls and has helped me by giving advice and options. He has taken the time to explain how things work (most recently, my generator hookup). I have really appreciated his help and good service.

I’ve worked with Eddie, Danny, and the Stewart Electric team for years and recommend them without hesitation. They’ve handled everything for us—standard build-out wiring, complex outdoor lighting, and even an electronic driveway gate tied into security cameras and our network. They show up when they say they will, communicate clearly, keep the site tidy, and finish on schedule at a fair price. What I appreciate most is their judgment: They flag options, explain trade-offs, and do the job the right way, not the flashy way. Stewart Electric is that rare company that’s courteous, conscientious, and consistent across big and small projects alike. It’s almost like having family in the trade—only they don’t linger around admiring their handiwork when they’re done!

We love working with another family-run business in Mid-coast Maine! We use Stewart Electric for all of our needs. They installed the electric in our brand new bar build out and put a spotlight on our outdoor sign. Danny and his boys are fast, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable! We are confident we can call upon them with any questions or concerns. We highly recommend
them for any of your electrical needs!

Stewart Electrical recently installed electrical service at my daughters horse barn in Bowdoinham.
They ran 300' of underground cable to the building and wired the building for electrical service, including well water pump, lighting and numerous outlets.
I could not be happier with the end result. Stewart Electrical handled all necessary permitting paperwork, kept me updated and finished project well ahead of schedule.
They did a fantastic job, I really appreciate that they were able to fit my project in their schedule. Thank you Stewart Electrical!

Eddie and Dan and the crew at Stewart electric did a fabulous job helping us out with our scoreboard projects at the Richmond High School. Highly recommended and valued community partner. Thank you for your expertise with this project!

We had Stewart Electrical wire our new garage with an option for an apartment on the top floor. Dan and his crew did a great job and we are very pleased with the final product. Then individual electricians answered our questions and made some suggestions for making our project turn out even better than expected. We have asked Stewart Electrical for a quote on another project we are working on. I would recommend Dan and his crew any time you need electrical work and want to have the project turn out the way you expect - or even better

We had a great experience with Stewart Electrical. Eddie and his crew are the best--friendly, fast, meticulous, extremely professional. They came to do the electrical work for a remodeling job for us, and we couldn't be happier with it.

Can't say enough positive things about working with Stewart Electrical. Eddie and the rest of the crew are professional, courteous, and genuinely nice human beings. I had come up with a lighting plan for a total renovation of our primary bath and Eddie went through it thoughtfully and carefully and made excellent suggestions that contributed significantly to the success of the project. He has fantastic communication skills, which I really appreciated in the midst of a complicated renovation. I'm delighted with the results - Stewart Electrical has my highest recommendation!
