We contacted Kevin at the end of the summer 2023. He came out and tagged our trees and told us he would complete the job in the Fall. We then offered him additional work from our neighbors. He had some health issues but called and said they were hiring additional people to do outstanding jobs and asked if we still wanted them to do the work, we understood and said yes. Several weeks go by and the work was still not done with zero communication. A major wind storm hit Maine in December and one of the trees nearly missed our house that he was supposed to trim. I called him to check in and was told he would go over the next day… never showed. Lastly, he texted me saying that he was no longer interested in our job as he doesn’t need someone bugging him every week. Unreal. Suggest that you look elsewhere!

Kevin Wing the owner of Kennebec Tree service took personal care of our property during all aspects of our tree removal and trimming. He removed 1 large White Birch and trimmed 3 Ash trees. One of those trees is on the very corner of our deck, overhanging our house, and on a very bad slope, not to mention that it is well over 60 feet tall. Kevin visited twice just to walk around and listen to exactly what we wanted done. Each time he analyzed that big Ash tree. Two other services told us the tree should come down, both had a prohibitive price tag. One told us the tree is fine but was also prohibitive for a trimming. Kevin came in, looked at that big Ash tree and said "sure I can trim that, it's got a lot of life in it". We had to wait for winter for the ground to freeze for his equipment to be stabile. It was no problem for Kevin. Everything was trimmed and down in two days, and everything cleaned up on the third day. He treated us very fairly and did a wonderful job. I and you should look no further if or when you need tree work done. I know we will have him back next fall to trim the rest.

Kevin and his crew did a amazing job taking down and removing some very large trees next to my Winthrop home. They were very professional and very thorough. They as well cleaned up all the debris as if it almost didn’t happen. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone in the Augusta area needing tree work
