We had one of the worst windstorms we’ve had in a while. A few homes in the neighborhood lost huge trees. But we lost a huge one, and it fell on top of our chicken coop, and our chickens were trapped inside. It completely smashed our 200 ft.² steel chicken run and we couldn’t get into their little house to feed the chickens or to get them out.
The storm was on a Saturday night, and even though they Got 10 other calls, Benners Tree Service was here at 7:30 Monday morning with six guys. They put us first which meant a lot. They were able to remove the giant tree; it was about 50 feet high and hundreds of pounds. They worked quickly to remove it and freed our chickens, even though we were told by a friend it might take a crane to lift it, they did it by hand.
Also - in the process, a piece of wood smashed a part of our back chicken run. It was not really their fault, just part of the process. The owner left and was back within the hour with the materials needed and he completely repaired the chicken run and paid for the materials.
We are so impressed with their speediness, prioritizing, and professionalism that we will be reimbursing them for the repair. And most of all, we are grateful that they are hard-core, fast, and reliable and that our chickens are free to come outside!

Big shout out to Nathaniel and his crew. My dad (Owls Head) needed a pine tree taken down and removed. Nathaniel stopped on 7/22/19 to give an estimate. He pointed out another tree that could come down in a storm. Once we settled on a price we were shocked to learn he would try to get the job done on 7/23/19. We expected two to three weeks or longer. True to his word he and his crew showed up at 0700 and made short order of the job. When they left, both trees were gone. Aside from a little bit of sawdust you'd never know were there. They are efficient, punctual, professional and do what they say they'll do. I can't recommend them enough. Well done !!!
