No show , excuses, hung up on client

Talked to the electrician he said he can come by in a week. It's been over a month no text or call back.

The most professional business I have used since moving to MD without question I would highly recommend this company without question!

Came the day I called and fixed my ceiling fan issue. Very professional and did a great job!!

NB Electric was fantastic. They showed up at my residence and made several repairs and installations.

Charles did an excellent job of isolating the problem and performing the proper repair for our electrical issue. He also recommended some techniques that we could use to reduce further issues.

Just had an upsetting experience with this company that I think other potential customers need to know about. While inspecting my home and being in my house after scheduling a house call, the electrician took off his mask and then asked if I was ok with him not wearing a mask while in my home. I indicated I was not and asked him to wear a mask and he said he would be unable to work/do the job while wearing a mask due to his glasses fogging up with a mask on. I told him the only way I would agree to work being done in my home is while wearing a mask but he still refused to do so, so I then cancelled the inspection.

At no point prior to entering my home did he indicate he would take his mask off/be unable to wear a mask while working but rather took off his mask after entering. Had he done this I would have cancelled the inspection immediately since we are still in a pandemic. This is hugely problematic for a variety of reasons and I would not let anyone in my home without a mask, especially a contractor who goes from home to home regularly and apparently does so maskless.

The kicker to this is he still charged me over $100 for the visit. I would not recommend this provider and find it upsetting that anyone would enter someone's home and then take their mask of while in a pandemic.

Charles is very capable of doing the work…he is a master electrician. However, his business practices are questionable. My recommendation is to ensure that he shows you the bill before and explain it. He tends to fill it up with repetitive jargon to try and manipulate you. Another thing…he overcharges for material. A box cost $3 and he will charge $30 or more. This is just one example of his questionable business practices. Another: He needs to provide you an invoice before payment and not the other way around. Please do not let him bamboozle you to do otherwise. Also, do not pay upfront. Pay him half to complete the work and the remainder when the work is done. Please disregard his sob story. That is his strategy. Lastly, he is not reliable in terms of showing up. It is a true hit or miss! I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Charles connected a replacement cord to our batheing unit, was prompt and made sure we were happy. He's definitely the first person we'll call and ask for any electrical needs. Thank you so much!

I have used NB twice in the past. I was pleased with their response time and quality of work. I spoke with Charles yesterday about a problem I'm having said he will be here this afternoon (7 May 2020). Would recommend NB Electric.

NB Electric, Charles in particular save my electric bill. I had another electrical company replace my outdoor motion sensor light one a company I had used previously. I chose motion lights because I want the light coming on to draw attention to my property, Well, after replacing the fixture and the sensor on three(3) different visits the light would still not go out staying on all night running up my electric bill. Charles came out assess the situation and found several things that were not done correctly and I am happy to report that the motion sensor light now works properly and does what it is suppose to do, which is come on with movement and stay on for the designated time frame you specify. Needless to say I will not be using the other company anymore and also will be going after them for a full refund for the serviced they did not provide.

The most humble, unassuming, master of his craft, contractor I’ve ever worked with. A joy to be around and learn from while on location making things happen. Not only did Charles get me the Tesla outlet I needed (custom built by hand) but got my home up to code along the way. So not only am I happy with the faster charge of my vehicle, but the overall efficiency of my electrical system and all of the DYI tips he provided at no cost. He will save you money and be my electrician for life and I don’t say that lightly.

He did a great job at hooking up a box that is properly installed and safer for our new home’s water heater. I called in the morning and he was very responsive and flexible. My issue was fixed by the afternoon.
