Construction Company reviews in Arnold, Maryland

Fantastic attention to detail

Simply Excellent work!

Would use services again. Quick turn around on estimate and work. Work done looks great. Satisfied with the entire process.

Chad and his team were very attentive and made the process stress-free for our kitchen home renovation.

Beautiful workmanship and attention to detail at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Chad Smith and Distinctive Contracting for your next home improvement project.

We used Distinctive Contracting Services to repair and renovate our basement after a sewage flood. They did an excellent and very professional job and we could not be happier with the results! I highly recommend them!

Paid $250 for a consultation with the expectation of having it applied to the work done. After 4 months they will not get back to me concerning actually performing the work. Such a shame, was a very informative consultation and generally felt confident in their expertise, but if they won't do the work they charged the quote for, I can't help but feel this is a scam. Learn the lesson I learned the hard way, never pay for a consultation.

Chad is great to work with. Great communication and attention to detail!

Good skills, but not dependable. This company performed work on my house for the seller when I bought it. Workmanship was solid! Based on the quality of his work, I asked him to come over to get estimates. I showed him at least 6 projects that I wanted to get quotes to get done. No quote ever showed up! I followed up several times asking for quotes, and there was always some excuse. After a long wait I gave up and I ended up having to find other contractors, get their quotes, and pay them for work.

A few months down the road, I was having a leak at the location of his work. I asked him to come take a look. And asked. And asked. Always some reason he could not come over now, but said he would next week. Then the next week. Crickets. He never came over. So I had to ask another contractor to come look. They confirmed that the problem was not his work, which is good to know. But if he had come and looked, I would have paid him for the fix and other projects.

I was very prepared to spend a lot of money with this company. I don't understand why some contractors act this way. I would not recommend this company due to the unreliability and unprofessionalism.

Prompt, professional and skilled service. Excellent communication. Thank you Chad.

Chad and his team recently renovated my entire condo. From the new floors to the kitchen cabinets, his team's attention to detail was top notch. He was always quick to answer any questions we had, and remained very professional throughout the entire process. We will definitely be working with him again when it comes time for our bathroom renovations!
