Said and his team were absolutely wonderful. We had a leak in our bathroom that had caused substantial damage and the crew got to work right away on mold remediation and in two weeks we had a whole new bathroom. We are so grateful for all their hard work and care in completing our repairs and renovation!

I worked with Renovec on my front yard where they reconstructed the garden bed that had been overgrown with vines into a gorgeous expanded flower bed. They also redid our walkway, widened our driveway and put in a drain. Matt is very quick to respond and flexible with my ever changing ideas. The crew worked very quickly and I couldn't be happier with the final result. From a cost perspective, Matt gave me ideas and helped come up with a product within my budget. I would absolutely recommend Sid, Matt, and their crew for any landscaping projects.

Said is the absolute best! After months of being ghosted by our original contractor my husband got in contact with Said and he came out to our house within 3 hours of speaking with my husband to talk about the project (knocking down a load bearing wall and installing an LVL bean) and give us an estimate. He even gave us some recommendations for other projects we have pending. Said is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, him and his team completed the job within a timely manner and everything turned out amazing. 10/10 would definitely recommend, looking forward to working with him again!

We just used Renovec for the first time for a guest bathroom remodel, and we couldn't be happier. We were new to the remodeling world, and had no idea where to start. On top of that, we had an insurance claim wrapped up in the project as well. I interviewed several contractors, but they were not communicative, too expensive, and/or unable to help with the insurance claim.

Enter Renovec to save the day. Said Boukkouri stepped in and drafted an estimate for our insurance company with the jargon that they required and helped us every step of the way to design our bathroom. Because we were keeping to a budget, he even spent several hours with us at Lowe's helping us pick out quality, affordable materials that would create a nice aesthetic. He made the pricing easy by sending an excel sheet of renovation options that we could pick from, plus the specific prices of each add-on. My husband and I were able to then select the features we wanted while staying within budget.

Said said the project might take 3 wks, but he finished in 2 weeks. His crew were very talented, clean, and responsible. They took extra steps to reduce dust in the house with air filters and plastic sheeting (plus hand removal of old fixtures), since our bathroom opens up to a catwalk overlooking the family room. They also threw in several services for free, including installing a new pipe in our attic associated with the new vent in the bathroom.

Said frequently oversaw and contributed to the work in person. Whenever I had a question, he took the time to explain my options on-site or over text. He was honest and offered his professional opinion whenever we were unsure how to proceed.

On top of all this, Said is a friendly and pleasant person to work with. It's often not easy having a team of people working in your house, but it was genuinely a pleasure having him and his crew around.

I plan to use Renovec again for future projects.

An awesome and responsive construction company that does high quality work. We used Renovec to rebuild a home in Columbia MD that caught on fire with severe damages. It required the services of a General Contractor well versed in all aspects be of the construction process. Renovec handled the job professionally. The house was restored in less than 5 months. All inspections passed the first time. The insurance did not have any complaints about there work. They wrote a detailed estimate with scale drawings. They provided a nice design and rendering of the kitchen before start. We really couldn't hope for a better general contractor to get this complex job done.

Renovec transformed a regular townhouse into a unique home that fit my personality. Sid listened to my ideas and expanded upon them. The finish is more amazing than I ever could have imagined.
The first job Renovec did was to refinish my staircase which has now become a central piece of art that everyone compliments. Then they replaced my front door, redid my powder room, and laid a new floor throughout the downstairs. This company is amazing and I will definitely use them for any future home projects.

I had nothing but a great experience with this company. They are honest and reliable. They were able to solve my plumbing, fine carpentry, drywall, and aesthetic issues. They cleaned up after they were done and they did a magnificent job. I never would have imagined that my house would look as good as it does now, but I am way beyond impressed. They redid my stairs and my flooring as well as repainted my living rooms and dining rooms. They color matched everything and my home is just the way I wanted it to be. I will not hesitate to call upon them in the future for further improvements I would like to make to my home. Sid has a great team at his disposal and they were extremely professional and hard working. What makes them even better is that they were local. I needed work done in Columbia and they were able to get everything that needed to be done, done. I cannot stress enough about how wonderful, professional and proficient this company is. If you have a project that needs to be done, Renovec is the company to call!

We had water damage to our kitchen and the bathroom and basement beneath it. Sid from Renovec came out and not only fixed the problem, but helped us make our dream kitchen a reality during the repairs. Sid also helped us navigate the confusing insurance process and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Renovec did a great job communicating with us and our insurance company and got the job done on budget and within the agreed upon time frame. Sid and his Renovec team were always professional, worked with our schedules, and were very trustworthy. We love our new kitchen and are happy we won't have to worry about possible water damage in the future!

Renovec renovated our 70's galley kitchen to an updated, modern and bespoke kitchen that fit our needs as heavy home cooks. They demo'd a wall and found an airduct that needed to be moved, and Sid called us immediately and helped guide our decision to fit our budget. He also had his crew create a custom hood covering that I personally designed and his carpenter brought to life. Sid immediately understood my vision for this kitchen and had such a great energy and excitement about creating that vision from scratch. I would highly recommend Renovec for kitchen remodels. Note: This project was done during the pandemic, and he and the crew were on top of social distancing as well as wearing masks as all of the work was done indoors.

Renovec is a fantastic company that we can't wait to work with again on our planned future renovations. We were in a MAJOR bind when our previous company stopped showing up and left our kitchen, dining room, and powder room demolished and our whole first floor was a construction zone. Renovec came highly recommended from a friend of a friend and word of mouth is the best way to find a good company that you can trust! Initially we were just replacing the floors, but as we got to know Sid and Susan we knew we could trust them to do a nice remodel of our kitchen. They fixed the issues with our flooring left by the previous company with ease and installed our new flooring. We then moved onto a complete kitchen remodel with new upper cabinets, a full hood install, custom cabinet work for a wine fridge, and custom rework of our lower cabinets. Sid added his artistic touch throughout the design process, which is an added bonus that you don't usually get with most contractors. Susan worked closely with us to coordinate workers and plans each day. They were communicative about any issues or required changes throughout the process and were mindful of getting the project done efficiently. Their work is high quality and they strive to make the space a home. Sid and Susan are a joy to work with and we will be calling them again for our next remodel project!

Renovec went above and beyond for our bathroom demo and remodel, a number of upgrades to a second bathroom, installing a new upstairs laundry room, the repair and replacement of overhead light fixtures in two other rooms, and the replacement of rotted deck planks in my family home. (We had our home built in 1970 and needed these upgrades for both maintenance and lifestyle reasons, including making it safer and user-friendly for my elderly mother.)

And honestly, the company and the owner helped rebuild my openness to trust contractors and taught me something about the potential goodwill of strangers after a bad experience with a previous contractor.

After an initial phone conversation, the owner of Renovec came to our house himself and underbid the lowest estimate we’d gotten for the work. He assigned a project manager to the job and a subcontractor, both of whom he was continually in contact with, and he, the PM, and the owner of the subcontracting firm were all invested in ensuring that my family and I were satisfied with the work and progress.

When unexpected scenarios came up (as may happen with multi-faceted jobs, especially with an older home), Renovec did not create change orders but rather came up with innovative, responsible, and aesthetically pleasing solutions that the company implemented at cost. For instance, they reversed the egress direction of a door and replaced it with two half doors to make the limited laundry-room space work, and the owner himself, who is skilled at plumbing, came onsite to create a multi-layered insulation approach to make an outside wall work for plumbing.

The PM always picked up the phone when I called or called me back within a few minutes in response to any question or concern I had, and the owner was also responsive, even though it was clear that the company was not making top dollar on this job. They were just honorable in addition to being skilled.

More than once, someone from Renovec told me that they wanted me and my mother to be happy with the work. From my experience, Renovec is a company that takes pride in what they do and cares about the people they are doing it for. And now I have my dream bathroom and upstairs laundry, which I would not have imagined I would've been able to afford right now, a safe home for my mother to age in place, and a house that is on its way to not only being restored but also luxuriously enhanced.

I am in the process of working with Renovec for a new roof, plan to continue to call upon them as I am able to afford additional renovations over the coming years, and recommend the company highly.

They were experts in inspecting my properties top to bottom to note deficiencies and did all necessary repairs. Highly recommend their services for any and all property needs!
