I called this company this morning for help with our HVAC system. I gave my phone number and address to a man who told me a technician would be calling me soon. I was quite surprised to learn that somehow my personal information was submitted to a system that sent my information to an unknown number of businesses. As of now, 3 hours after giving my info, I have received calls from 5 different individuals (some call centers, some actual businesses) all of which had the information I shared with what I thought was a single business.
I called this business back and was told they shared my information with only one other entity and “they must have entered it somewhere”. Also there was no way they could undue what was done.
If you do decide to call this establishment, I strongly recommend caution in how they use your personal information.
