Never showed up for the estimate, and has not called, or returned calls in two days. Today will be day three.
I'm looking for another company to boxblade an acre in Loveville, MD.

Very disappointed with his service. This guy charges much more than other local companies and does not send out his crew on timely basis. Most arrogant and rude person that I have ever dealt with. Upon complaining, he started cursing me and arguing with me. Not professional and I would not suggest this company to any homeowner.

If you’re looking for high quality work, products and customer service, look elsewhere as you will be disappointed! We wanted to give our business to the local economy, and wished now we would have went with one of the big box nurseries for our hard earned money. To begin with, when the employees arrived they asked me, the homeowner, what needs to be done. That should have been prearranged/coordinated by the owner of the business, Mr. McNey. The area was to be squared off for uniform installation and they were completely off target. The team, after speaking with Mr. McNey and getting a diagram, cleared more than what was called for on the estimate. Instead of providing enough sod for the error on THEIR part, they wanted to use grass seed for the oversight. Not a very good customer service call on Mr. McNey’s part. All the sod didn’t show up on the day it was supposed to arrive, and when it did it was dried out. What I’ve read online, after the fact unfortunately, was that sod was supposed to be wet/damp and laid seamless. There were gaps all across the installation. Extremely shoddy workmanship. The second shipment of sod, four days later, was drier than the first delivery, and starting to yellow from dying and NOT ENOUGH to complete installation. By this time I was EXTREMELY frustrated to say the least and just wanted this company off my property. I had to buy 30 rolls of sod, using 26 of them, to complete the installation. Without a doubt the sod I had to lay looks a thousand times better than theirs. A valuable lesson learned for this homeowner. Mr. McNey didn’t feel that any errors were made on the part of the company and was rude and completely unprofessional. Again, if you’re looking for a company who values their customers, look elsewhere.

Shady business practice. Demanded to know what we would spend versus offer an estimate for inquired services. The gentleman informed my wife that "we wouldn't even touch this property for anything less than 5 grand, because we don't work for pennies on the dollar" he then looked at my wife and said "no offense." We simply wanted quotes for specific work and he would not offer any further answers without knowing what we were willing to spend or zero indication of what we could afford.. Hard pass on this company.

I have done business with Adam for a number of years. Our lawn, which was formerly weed filled, has never looked better. There are lot of lawn care businesses out there and you may find a better price but you will not find better quality.

Adam and his crew built our patio in 2017, and now in 2023 we had them clean, re-sand, and re-set a few sunken tiles. All went well and the patio looks like new.

I have been a customer of Adam’s lawn service for 7 years. They originally did my landscaping and Adam came out gave me lots of options. They continue to maintain my landscaping and grass. I would highly recommend them for all your landscaping needs!

This company has a contract with our community. However when I noticed a certain item didn't meet expectation, the owner started out listening but since September 2020 my experience of the owner has been argumentative, unresponsiveness at times, rude, and unprofessional. I felt every time we asked about the service given and we should just consult the contract. Even when we have an issue with service. In my opinion he has an attitude of pay the fees and shut up. We've been home during Covid so I've had time to observe. Which sparked the conversation about items placed back in Sept. 2020. The owner appeared to be upset with the line of questioning his work. More recently after another conversation which went unresolved he hung up the phone. Customer service should be worked on as my experience hasn’t been the best. This issue was so small could've been resolved unfortunate.

Mr. McNey and his crew have done an amazing job on all of the work that they have done at our house. Last year we had this company install quite a bit of stonework around our house and driveway. I was completely amazed when they were finished, so much so we have had McNey and his crew add more stone work and install all of our outdoor lighting around the house. Mr. McNey is always easy to get ahold of and has always been very polite and helpful to us. We priced out most of this work from several companies in the area and I believe that McNey's company provided the best services at a completely reasonable price. Recently I got a little crazy with the hedge clippers and managed to cut the wires for part of our outdoor lighting.. OOPS! yes I know My husband was not real happy but one phone call and Adam and his workers were out here and fixing the problem. Our yard and surrounding area are always immaculate when they are finished and Adam has been fantastic about following up to ensure that we were happy with the work. I would recommend Mr. McNey's company to anyone and feel completely confident that they would be happy with the work. I truly appreciate all of the hard work that this company has done for us. We will continue to use Adam's company as they are simply the best!

Where do I start. How about rich, dark green grass in January. I asked my co-worker, how is your grass so green in January? He laughed and said "Adams Landscaping" They handled all of his lawn care needs including the install and maintenance of his irrigation system. When he explained to me the lawn care plan designed for his 3 acre lot and the affordability of it, I almost passed out. I was paying three times the amount he was paying and I only have 1 acre and my grass never looked as healthy as his. The decision to switch was a no brainer. 5 stars all day. The customer service department is phenomenal, which is a bonus considering how great they take care of your lawn.

I highly recommend Adam's Lawn and Landscaping. They just recently completed a 900 sq. ft. raised patio and walkway for our home using Cambridge pavers. Adam listened to our requirements and within a few days we had an initial design to consider. What I like about Adam is this: He is very responsive. He isn't shy about telling you what works well or doesn't - which we appreciate. He is on-site to supervise his crew and is always respectful and professional. We like the fact that he is a one-stop shop. He provides a complete package to include landscaping, lighting, drain adjustments, etc. We had a completed project within 4 weeks and, throughout it all, he was very responsive to our needs. We certainly love the final outcome and plan to use some of his other services going forward. Please consider using Adam for your hardscaping/landscaping needs. The quality of his work is outstanding!

We recently had Adam and his guys revamp our backyard and they did an amazing job! The paver walkway, patio, sod and river rock flower bed are just gorgeous. This company is very professional and Adam is a perfectionist. We are very pleased with the work they did and come highly recommended by my husband and I.

Great work at fair prices. They did our patio, fire pit, patio and wall, landscaping and handle our fertilization. Hope to do irrigation and a pool in the future and Adam's will be our first call!

We hired Adam because he only does high end decks and patios. If you want a cheap deck that looks like it was made with lumber from Lowe’s that was on sale, by your third cousin from Jersey, call someone else. I’m just going to say this, it’s expensive, REALLY expensive to get a high end deck and patio! But when you want the highest of the high end decks and patios, it’s going to be expensive. I knew this before I ever called him, and Adam asked about our budget first. He did this so that he could produce a design that fit within the budget and met my expectations.

You unquestionably get the very best in quality and master level construction. Adam was a great source of knowledge and guidance from design, to selecting materials, through the entire construction process. I was very particular with the way I wanted my deck built and patio shaped, from the curved flow through the fireplace, I wanted it to be amazing, and Adam came through in all aspects. There were design challenges, everything from building in the winter and learning that the natural stone quarries in Pennsylvania were closed, through to dealing with winter storms. Adam communicated what was happening, how he was working to overcome the challenge, and answered my questions.
Yes, you will sign a real contract. This is a professional build, so I would expect nothing more. When we wanted to change something during the build, we would talk about it, then Adam would tell me what it was going to cost, then he would issue a contract mod. That protects both you and him. I thought it was professional because we knew exactly what we were getting.

Hired Adam's Lawn and Landscaping to install a new patio and fire pit in my back yard, him and his crew did an amazing job and he was very easy to work with. I found out they also do carpentry and deck work, I had them repair my back deck and install new composite deck boards and handrails. Thank you so much I can finally enjoy my back yard.
