We worked with Karma on our bathroom remodel. Craig and the team were fantastic - super responsive to our questions. They delivered high quality work, had super attention to detail and made sure everything was just right. We got great value on the job and would definitely work with them again. I would recommend them!

Work was nicely and professionally done. Went over initial budget but that was on us since we changed our minds and wanted more expensive kitchen cabinets which led to delays in getting the cabinets, installing countertop, etc. Jordan and his team were flexible (which we really appreciated) and very quickly installed them. Will def call them again

We had karma build our new home in fort Washington. Took 4 months permitting and 8 months to complete. They seem to be very busy but they were able to accommodate me.

So happy I chose this contractor for remodeling my kitchen and bath. From Andrea who set up my appointment, Craig my Project Manager who always answered when I had any questions or concerns, Mariya who helped me with designing, Peggy who helped with any invoice questions, and Jordan the owner following up to see everything was going good! I couldn't have had a better experience. I look forward to remodeling my basement with them next year and possibly a pool. Would recommend 100%

Where do I start? My husband and I wanted to renovate our kitchen without really putting too much thought into exactly what we wanted. Craig came in and helped us navigate and build our dream kitchen. I genuinely can’t thank the team at Karma Construction group enough from the professionalism to the final product. I live overseas and was looking for a company to renovate my home In the Washington DC area. I was concerned about designing a full bathroom renovation remotely but Karma construction made it easy and the final product exceeded my expectations. karma has has a team of highly experienced design and construction professionals who work with you to ensure high quality, on time completion and within budget. I received great advice on design and functionality which greatly improved the final product. The team worked with me remotely using zoom calls for design and product selections, posted daily update throughout the construction process on their user friendly on line system (also provided ease of payment) I felt completely updated at every step. The team was super easy (and fun) to work with and I enjoyed the process. The total experienced exceed all expectations and I would definitely engage Karma again for our next renovation. I had Craig as my project manager. He did a phenomenal job organizing multiple home repairs in a timely professional manner. All repairs were done excellently and the clean up was superb. All contractors were respectful and reliable. I had a concrete driveway, a new roof, bathtub with beautiful tiles, a double wall oven put in to existing cabinets etc.
I love the fact that Craig communicated with me and my family members so that we understood details of everything throughout the whole process. No surprises!

Karma Construction just completed an involved reconstruction of the support for my cantilevered kitchen addition. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of their work. The building inspector commented that it would hold up the entire house. Working with them was a pleasure- their professionalism, responses to my questions, the quality of their work. I was away for much of the project, and Craig sent me regular updates and pictures. I highly recommend this group!

I have worked with Karma on a number of projects. I could not be more impressed. This is a company that truly lives up to their name. They treat their clients to first rate service and results, good Karma all around. I have seen their award winning designs for various bathrooms and kitchens around the DC area, and they are fantastic! Karma Home Designs is truly and all around general contractor and remodeling service. They have the specialists and tradesman for any type of job, whether it be an out door living space and a new deck, that addition and finished basement you have always wanted, or a whole home build or remodel. Karma has everyman for the job. The best part about working with Karma is that they are actually located right in DC! Kris, one of the owners has been doing construction in DC for over 20 years, the management at Karma has over 50 years combined. They are true professionals who pride themselves on treating their customer fairly and giving them the results they deserve. it has been a pleasure working with them on several projects and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great design, quality products, and unbeatable price and value.

Our entire house was renovated by Karma Construction Group, and they did an excellent job. Everything went smoothly because there was no need to coordinate between various contractors, thanks to the design-build technique. They paid close attention to our idea and executed it flawlessly.

The smooth design-build process was what I valued most. We saved a great deal of time and stress by having a single team handle everything rather than having to deal with an architect and a builder. They paid close attention to our desires and came up with innovative ways to fulfill them while staying within our means. The permitting process presented some unforeseen difficulties, but they managed everything behind the scenes without involving us in the chaos.

As a long-term rental option, I had a detached guest house constructed in my backyard, and I'm quite pleased with the way it looks. The result appears to have always been a part of the original property, and the construction schedule was reasonable. The unit is well-built, feels private, and uses little energy. They took care of a lot of the paperwork I didn't want to deal with and did a great job coordinating with local inspectors. Excellent work.

Overall construction was OK.

Management was a nightmare and the project was about a month delayed. They never tell you when people are going to be in your house. Our overall privacy was gone for three months. They just walk in whenever they want, it was extremely frustrating.

When working with Jordan and Craig, get everything in writing. They were very misleading and there were lots of mistakes.

Craig didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Which is fine, but he had an ego and constantly talked down to me.

When asked to remedy the mistakes, they give you snarky manipulative responses, as if you’re stupid. They were so rude.

Peggy in accounting constantly over charged us. Double charged for materials we already paid for, and added materials that weren’t even used on the job. When asked to remedy the mistakes, they denied any fault and basically said pay up. The sub contractors buy whatever they want, and they just send you the bill. Extremely frustrating.

Buyer beware, I would not recommend at all.
