Electrical reviews in Crofton, Maryland

We’ve had nothing but great experiences with Haramis Electric. Their electricians are professional, capable, clean, and polite. We really hit some duds before finding them, but now we don’t have to look ever again. The owner Nick is also fair, reasonable, and runs a great team. No hesitations in recommending them!

I was referred to Haramis Electric from a company I had purchased my outdoor heater from. Nick came out and researched what had to be done to get a heater to my outdoor pavilion area. His knowledge of his trade is very impressive. He was able to get the wire out to area I needed to get the heater in place as we needed a bigger circuit for the new heater. I had another electrician look at the job prior to me getting a referral and they didn't think was possible to do. Nick got the job done and we are enjoying our outside pavilion area all year long. Thanks Haramis Electric. I have referred many friends and family to them already and plan on using them for all my electrical needs.

Haramis did the rough-in and trim-out for my entire basement, including lights, outlets, and a few specialty circuits for a fireplace and workshop. Cade, Nick, and team were very professional and responsive from initial quote through final inspection. Even helped me navigate a few minor issues in the inspection that were not related to their work. Reasonably priced as well. Would recommend them to anyone in the area!

Outstanding service and excellent communication. The team upgraded the service panel on our 70 year old house. Cade did a great job coordinating the permits and BG&E completion of the outdoor meter. Highly recommended!

I had Haramis out to replace some light fixtures and install some additional outlets. I am extremely pleased with everything they did. Robin came out to my home to complete work and he was polite and professional. Everything they did looks great! I highly recommend Haramis Electric.

Nick came by promptly for the estimate, was professional, and very fair with his pricing. Less than 24 hours before the installment day we needed to make a change and he responded promptly with no issues. His crew showed up early, did an excellent job, explained what they were doing in layman's terms, and were very quick, courteous, and neat. We were so happy with the work we wanted to add on some future jobs to which they said "that's not a problem, we'll get it done while we are here". I highly recommend Haramis Electric.

A friend referred Haramis Electric, Nick responded quickly and worked with our schedule to address concerns. Nick was to the point, honest and provided a quote for the work to be done. Very professional, I'm happy with their work and have a piece of mind knowing my electric issues are taken care of.

Haramis was great! I needed a replacement fan put in my range hood. No other electrician wanted the job. But, Haramis fit me in and showed up on time. It took a bit to figure out how to get the old fan out without taking down the whole hood, but they perservered. In and out in less than a hour, and really nice guys. I will definitely be calling Haramis again if I need an electrician.

Great experience with Haramis - emailed Nick and one day later he came out to take a look at the issue we had. 3 outlets weren't working - he expected it to be a very quick fix, and it wound up taking a little longer than expected, but he was thorough and explained everything he was doing and why. The problem has been resolved and we'll definitely use Haramis again for future electrical work.

Haramis Electric provided me the most prompt, professional, and personalized service I have ever received as a home owner. Nick Haramis came to the house to service a few items prior to putting the house on sale. During his visit, Nick was totally frank what can and should be done to prepare the house to put on the market. Coincidentally, the day before his arrival all of the smoke detectors began to fail. I changed the batteries, cleaned the connectors, but the this did not fix the problem. As the detectors were 12-year old, they happen to expire in close time proximity. Nick ordered new boxes and was to install them on the following Monday. When the final detector failed he Became concerned that I was in the house with no protection. Nick contacted our real estate agent and said he needed to get access to the house to install new alarms. Working with the real estate agent Nick came into the house and installed the alarms as well performed the other services while I was at the office. I am extremely impressed about Nick’s concern about my safety and quickly moved to mitigate any threat. That is what Haramis Electric is about: going above and beyond to provide exceptional and honest service with a personal touch.

Nick responded quickly, clearly explained the work he would do and got the job done quickly. Our new recessed lights look amazing and Nick was a pleasure to work with. We're very happy we chose to work with Haramis Electric and would highly recommend them.

Haramis Electric installed out Gemstone lighting and 5 out of 5! Professional staff, completed project quickly. Product is also amazing and fun to use! Haramis electric amazing to work with.

After reaching out to several other contractors and having unprofessional experiences (if I could get a response at all), I found Haramis. Nick and his team were exactly what I was looking for. He was very open and understanding of our needs, his team was able to obtain the parts and supplies needed without having to wait months (supply chain shortages). The work was completed with complete professionalism and care, the price was right and we have now found our "go-to" electrical contractor. 100% recommend, don't waste your time chasing down quotes and shopping contractors, just call Haramis Electric.

Great experience with the Haramis Electric Company - Nick was amazing via email and came out to the property to see what project I needed done. He was very professional, honest and friendly then reassured me this would be an easy job within my budget. He even viewed what I had and explained to me a better option with LED lighting. The crew that showed up today was very pleasant, helpful and explained everything they did which made me feel comfortable about the work. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future.

Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of working with an outstanding electrician, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the very first interaction, it was clear that this professional values honesty and reliability. They were always available to answer my questions and address my concerns, which made the entire process seamless and stress-free.

What impressed me the most was their commitment to transparency. They provided clear explanations of the work that needed to be done, and offered fair pricing without any hidden fees. Their expertise was evident, and they completed the job efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Not only did they show up on time, but they also took the time to ensure everything was functioning perfectly before leaving.
