Today our Mitsubishi Ductless AC/Heat unit needed 6 pounds of coolant gas. Amazon sells the gas, R410A, for $6 per pound in 25 Lb Honeywell cylinders.

Real Chill charged $60 per pound. That is ten times cost for a total of $600 whereas labor was only $150.

I was floored. I have had them out three times and the technician was extremely good. I would have thought they would have warned me that they mark it up so unreasonably.

Can you spell GOUGE?

The staff answering the phone gave a Trump-like dodge: what about all the other HVAC firms, they gouge so why shouldn't we? Then she gave the insincere apology routine: "I am sorry you feel that way".

If you need coolant, I suggest you buy you R410-A off Amazon which is legal to do and shop for a qualified technician to install it.

Very troubled by the phone person's justification for covering up the collusion.

Our ac went out during the night, I emailed to schedule an appointment for service. I got a call at 8:15 the next morning and a tech had me fixed and cooling prior to 10 am. I was pleasantly surprised at the timeliness of Real Chill. Thank you.

We have 2 heat pumps that have not been serviced in years,, Charlie was the Tech, he worked late and made multiple repairs to the systems. He also took the time to greet the pets and get them acclimated to him.
Total bill was about 1/2 of what I was expecting,
