Appliance Repair reviews in Ellicott City, Maryland

Our technician was friendly, made good recommendations for continuing care, and got the job done.

Hyon was fantastic and got our dryer back up and working, highly recommend!

Hyon fixed our dryer that was not heating. He disassembled, diagnosed, repaired and reassembled all while putting up with my questions. It was not a “ cheap” repair but it was evident Hyon is experienced and professional. Next appliance repair I will specifically ask for Hyon.

Our technician, Darin, was great! Arrived within the window and fixed the problem with our water dispenser quickly. The only issue was getting in touch with the office - they seemed to be having issues with their phones (it was almost impossible to hear what they were saying), and scheduled an appointment for a day when I told them I would not be available. In the future I will schedule all appointments online with them.

I was able to get a quick appointment and the technician Cody was knowledgeable and professional. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and correctly. The part was promptly ordered and I got a call when the part came to schedule appointment. I didn’t have to follow up. Cody came again and replaced the relay within no time. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Mr Appliance. A big shout out to Cody 👍

Our repair technician Michael was very knowledgeable about our double oven range and diagnosed our 2 problems pretty quickly. He ordered both parts which were necessary to fix our appliance and returned the following week and took care of business. Mr. Appliance was highly recommended by neighbors and we can agree, call them for your appliance repair needs.

Very professional and great communication. The technician showed up on as scheduled. He was very efficient and respectful and performed my repair without being at all messy.

The Tech Darin was excellent; on-time, professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Diagnosed and fixed our issue in two visits. In contrast, the office staff/admin were not good at all: I tried to reschedule the second appointment and left a message but never got a call back from the local office. I even called the main-national number and explained the issue to a person who said she would get the message through, but the Tech showed up anyway!

Great experience with Mr Appliance
Technician came, quickly diagnosed the issues with my dryer, went over the options and recommended repairs. Parts were in stock at their office and he was able to get everything working in a couple of hours. -
Only giving 1 star because you can't give 0
We have no water or ice from refrigerator - they diagnose it as a bad ice maker and we decided to pay in full while they order the part and then they will come back to install it. They return and install a new ice maker and still no ice and no water.. tech says he can't figure out the no water issue and with no water means no ice. *At this point I'm not sure how the ice maker was diagnosed as bad when there is no water (?) Also they then sent me an additional invoice the next day for an additional $272.08 so I call and let them know its not even working and the tech told us the few hundred we already paid was the amount in full (?) They can not get a manager on the phone and about 10 minutes after I call I get another emailed invoice now saying instead of $272 the amount owed is $93.. (?) Yet I still have no water from the refrigerator and no ice... Hoping to get a call back from a manager or someone as to the next steps.. -
Mr. Bill repaired our GE Profile range. He was thoroughly professional, and a pleasure to deal with

Was a delay because of weather... There was good communication though very happy with transaction dryer is working

I hope they actually have good repair service, but I wouldn’t know because I couldn’t get past the mediocre customer service when calling to schedule a repair. While, Tabitha was not rude, she was very short and lacked good customer service. If that’s what this organization selected to be their first impression, I did not want to find out what was to come next.

Great service, did exceptional with cleaning up the shattered glass, punctual and efficient with replacing my broken glass door

Called them out for a dryer issue. It took two visits to fix it, only for it to break entirely a few weeks later. Mister Appliance however stood by their work and came out to resolve the issue free of charge. Kevin was a courteous and skillful technician. Kudos to a company that values customer service and goes the extra mile to get it right.

Lamont was great! Fixed our dishwasher and gave us solid advice. Used this company many times and they're always phenomenal.

Bill was great: he fixed the problem and followed up promptly. Only thing I would recommend would be itemized detailed receipts. Otherwise great service, would use again and highly recommend.

Their website states "We stand behind our workmanship with a 1-year Parts and Labor warranty for residential services and a 30-day Parts and Labor Promise for commercial services. If your service was not done right, we promise to make it right." Paid over $700 for service to our refrigerator. Problem has surfaced again with the exact same issues.
Called to have them come back out and was told it will be another $129 fee for a diagnostic fee I paid the first time. Asked why if there is a 1 year warranty and was told it is actually only 90 days. Also was told if they did the repair that would be applied to the bill which it never was the first time out. Much better options available for my money. -
Michael , the tech, did an excellent job. He was very thorough and he troubleshot the problem and we ended up with a working dishwasher for a reasonable price.
-
Excellent service. Michael was prompt and incredibly efficient, and kind enough to teach us how to prevent wear and tear! 🤗 big thank you!

Mr. Appliance is the best company for communicating with the customer and keeping us updated on the technician's arrival time. Herb was very conscientious and so good at explaining everything he did. The dryer (which is quite old) needed a new thermostat to keep it from overheating. It was a relief to know we didn't need to buy a new dryer.
