It is my first time having a home with oil heating and Kelly at Petro made the process very easy. She was available to answer all my questions and help me get started with home delivery. Excellent customer service!

Needed my oil furnace replaced. Petro is my oil supplier so I reached out for a quote. Dylan Oehlke came out and quoted the job. I signed the contract and a week later the new equipment was installed and the old 30+ year old furnace was gone. What a difference!! No smell, no sonic boom every time the furnace cycled, quiet fan, very nice!
These guys are great! Great price and professional service! Highly recommend Dylan and the team from Petro!

I hate to leave bad reviews unless it's going to help others avoid a terrible situation. This company has horrendous customer service and doesn't care about their customers well being at all and on top of that they are overpriced. We had auto delivery set up on 1/31. A snow storm occurred and I guess they weren't able to access our pipe to fill bc of the snow in the grass. They left zero notifications, no phone call, messages, emails, or papers at the door to let us know. We realized we hadn't gotten pur delivery and our oil was getting dangerously low (6% left) on 2/5. We then noticed online our delivery were noted as STOPPED. This is how we found out they had issues and didn't deliver. The worst part is we were going into one of the coldest ever weekends in our area and with a 1yr old at home. My spouse called immediately that Thursday and explained the situation how we would not make it through the weekend and he had gone out and shoved pathways for them. They said to call first thing in the morning to make sure we get on the schedule Friday. We did just that. No one ever came. We called back multiple times getting the same response that someone would be out. Then someone said if they can't get us a full delivery, they would send someone to give us a top off to get us through the weekend at least. Again...no one came. We called again Saturday morning, explaining now that we are at <1% going to run out, is someone coming? Can they top it off because now we're in an emergency situation as the temp outside with the windchill is -15°F. They said on Saturday 2/7, "It shows your delivery is pending and should be delivered in 2 to 3 days from your initial request."...we requested it Thursday 2/5 and expressed how we were going to run out...Then they said, "We can get someone out to do an emergency top off tonight between 9pm and 12am." We were ok with that. Then, 10 minutes before 9pm, we recieved a phone call saying there weren't any techs available so the can't top us off. At this point I was livid. I called a different company, Tevis, and while they were closed, the recording said we could put 10 to 20 gallons of diesel fuel in the tank in an emergency. We luckily sent the kids to their grandparents house and at 9pm, we went out to Walmart and got four 5 gallon cans and filled them up at a gas station. By the time we got back, the oil had run out and pilot light was out by the time we returned. If they couldn't get to us, they could have at a minimum told us about using desiel. I think -15°F without heat is kind of an emergency situation. As someone who understands customer service, you want to under promise and over deliver. This company clearly doesn't understand customer service or care about the wellbeing of their customers because they consistently over promised and under delivered. It's now a week later, Sunday 2/8 and we still have no oil. Do you and your family a favor, and find a different company.
