S & M Mechanical came highly recommended by my plumber.I decided to call when I started to smelling gas in my home coming from my ductwork and needed to have someone come out asap. I Contacted them and clearly communicated the issue and potential for a gas leak and was told that they would do a full diagnostic on the HVAC unit for 129.00. And nothing else would be charged till they discussed With me what work needed to be completed. Being a single Mom of three I was super concerned of the safety of myself and my kids so I was eager to get someone out to my home. They arrived the next day and in under an Hour diagnosed that the unit was operating fine and there was no gas leaks. Unfortunately, they charged me 259.00 double the agreed upon price stating they had to check for a gas leaks (mostly spraying the unit with soapy water). Found this to be in contradiction to what I was communicated when I called and to be overcharged for the service provided. I was satisfied with the service until I felt I was being mislead and overcharged.

Sean at SM Mechanical was amazing! We called him this morning and he came out a couple hours later to temporarily fix our AC unit. I’m sure it is such a busy week with the extreme 90* temperatures, but he made sure my home was comfortable for us and our two babies. He took the time to explain the next steps we should take that would work best with our home and our situation. This extra effort and time left a great impression for us, and we will DEFINITELY recommend and use him again! Thanks, Sean!
